The service is bad, workers on the phone, it takes 20 mints to someone takes order and drinks and they look mad the workers no one says welcome to Waffle House, it’s sad to see people don’t care about they’re job, the food is good, they should be more polite and work little harder to get better tips.

This Waffle House is the location closest to our home and never disappoints. Going for an early breakfast yesterday my hubby and I had the pleasure of having Gwen for our waitress. She was very personable and quickly attentive to our needs. Chef is great because our meal is always on point.

Awesome breakfast. Eggs cooked perfect, crispy not soggy hash browns, buttered toast as it should be, perfectly cooked bacon, the best blueberry waffle you could ask for and super friendly service. I love these waffle house joints.

My server kept me laughing the whole time! However, my server didn’t pay attention once she put my waffle on and burnt it, so I had to wait longer for my waffle. I got it so I’m not complaining too much. Then the cool forgot I ordered sausage and used it to make the chilli. I had pretty much finished my food before I got everything. They kept me laughing so I wasn’t uspet, but I still would have liked everything at the same time.

First time coming to this Waffle House and it was great! As soon as my mother and I walked in, the whole staff said good morning! And we got our order taken quickly and within 7 minutes we were served! Which was fantastic! Loved it!

First time at this location. Service was great. Placed the order to go. Waitress was very attentive to my order specific requests. Took 6 minutes for my order to be made. Everything came out fresh and good to eat. After sitting down and having my meal, everything was spot on. Their waffles were fluffy and full of flavor. The hash browns with the specs added on were spot on. Family enjoyed their meals. Will come back to this location.

Don’t waste your time or money at this place. The employees hate each other and the food sucks. $ 40 for 2 adults and 2 kids. All ordered specials under $ 7. Charged $ 1.75 per drink. Ad some cheese and your at $ 40. I know it’s Waffle House so I’m not expecting much, but there were shells in the eggs and the food was nasty. We all felt sick afterwards. Need a new cook and some employees that appreciate having a job.

This waffle house seems fairly new. Polite staff. waitress Tiffany was very attentive. Almost too attentive because she kept wanting to fill my cup up when I already had right combo of cream n sugar. We laughed about it. This«greasy spoon» was not so greasy in terms of cleanliness. Food was hot. tasted good. one of my go to breakfast spots in area.

It’s like the other reviewers have never been to a waffle house before. The service is slow compared to modern joints, but if you actually flag down somebody your are fine. It’s average for the chain. They are super friendly. Waffles are huge. It’s very clean and new. Craving some breakfast and don’t mind flagging down a server, this is your jam.

Like usual, I called ahead and order it to go but when I went to pick up my order I was in utter amazement. This place has COMPLETELY turned around. The staff were pleasantly alert & courteous, the dining area clean, no clutter or dirt– the over all vibe was very refreshing! I will definitely reconsider dining in next time(two thumbs up)

Dear lordddd what a horrible experience. We waited over an hour and STILL had no one even offer us a menu! It was a little busy at the time but nothing out of the ordinary for a Waffle House, and with the 12 plus people jammed behind the counter there was no excuse for how long we waited. As we were waiting, now for over an hour, we had an interesting experience. A man who we assumed was a waiter came to our table with silverware in a cup of water. He proceeded to not take our order, but instead to take each individual piece of silverware out of the water cup one by one, wipe it off with a napkin, and set it down in front of us on the table at a slower than normal pace. There were multiple people so this was really awkward. Nice guy, but… what!!! And he didn’t take our order! It was like some weird, awkward show. And more importantly, why wasn’t the silverware totally cleaned and dry when it came to our table, and Instead it came in a cup full of water? When someone finally did take our order, every single order came out wrong. Eggs with toast and hashbrowns suddenly turned into grits and a pecan waffle with ham… and it was that bad for every order at our table. The correct food came out freezing cold, and disgusting. Meat was totally raw and red on the inside, eggs were a nasty color and burned all over, scrambled in some places and raw in others, and after all the waiting, we had to send our food back and go somewhere else. We were far away from home, starving, and being treated like we were unimportant. They also spelled the word«omelette» wrong all over their white board like 12 times! How could you do that when your main dish is eggs?! Nooooo! Just so bad all around. After we apologized and were way too nice about sending our inedible food back, instead of an apology, I was given the stank eye by all of the cooks and they continued to glare at me until I was out the door. Never ever ever again. The best part was leaving and going to another restaurant!

How can you go wrong with Waffle House… Visit this one! Service was terrible! They only have one speed, slow. They can’t even get the food right. It’s just eggs and hash browns people. I will never return to this Waffle House.

I came last week to get two waffles. There wasn’t enough employees working, therefore the service was pretty slow. The two employees working were very nice, but some bad things that didn’t make my experience wonderful was the syrup all over the tables & menus

Horrible service. The party of four that was seated after us(party of two) completed their meal and left before I was even served. The staff doesn’t seem to care at all about customers.

I believe this was the worst service we’ve ever received. We’ve been to this location a couple times and both times received bad service. Today, my husband and I went and and sat at the high bar. We waited probably 10 minutes and still NO service! 3 ladies came in after us and sat next to us and they received service within a few minutes by the Manager. The ladies had already put in their orders, but still no one came to us. I finally stopped a waitress and asked her who our server is because we’ve been sitting here for a long time. She apologized and cleaned off the dishes that were still on the counter and took our order. We waited another 10 minutes and still didn’t get our drinks while the ladies beside us already received their food. I can see her at the register ringing people out. When she was done, she grabbed a plate and put my waffle on it and brought it out to me without washing her hands(And still no drinks). I asked her for our drinks and extra cream for my coffee. She finally brought our drinks, but no cream, so I asked again for extra cream. Another 5 minutes go by and I finally got my creamer for my coffee. When the food came out, my husband’s omelette looked like scrambled eggs instead of an omelette. I was about to walk out a couple times but my husband was hungry and didn’t want to have to go and wait elsewhere since we were already there. We were very disappointed with the food and especially the service. We won’t be going back to this location again. Next time, we’ll spend the extra time and go to the Hillsborough St location where we’ve received better service.

So I have been to this @WaffleHouse plenty of times, and since my first review it has been a hit or miss on the dining experience. I usually go during the earlier part of the day. The food is not made consistent. Depending on who the cook is determines how it will be. About half the time I have to send the food back and have it remade, or order something else. I usually have the same server, so she knows what I want, and how picky I am with my food, so some days she will spare me, and tell me the truth about the food and to get something else. I really appreciate that as I tend to send food back. It is hard to find a good honest server who tells you the truth about the food they serve. I did order a cheesesteak omelet(ok, I order that every time) with hash browns on the side and it was so greasy that I had to send it back to the kitchen. The omelet was visibly greasy just by looking at it. After the entire plate was remade, I still couldn’t eat the hash browns as they were served almost raw. I spoke to the Unit Manager Amada, and told her even after I sent the food back it was still inedible. She said thanks for letting her know, and still made me pay for food I couldn’t eat. That said to me, I don’t care about you as a customer, I just want your money. There are a couple of servers who always provide great service every time, and never let the times when they are having a bad day affect the level of service they provide. That is hard to find.

My husband and I visited the new Waffle House yesterday around 5:45 p.m. We were met by three of the waitresses standing outside the front door smoking. They greeted us and put out their cigarettes, and opened all the doors for us to enter. The place was virtually empty since it was early so we had our choice of booths. We looked at three booths before finding one that didn’t have grease or crumbs left on the tables or seat backs. The gentlemen that waited on us was very friendly. He reached across our table and pulled out napkins from the napkin holder and put down silverware on top of the napkin. Apparently there was no sanitized sets of silverware prepared to give to customers. We placed our order. It seemed that they had just cleaned the grill so our order came out in pieces. My husband received his hash browns, then a few minutes later received his waffle which was very small, thin, and not crispy — more like a pancake with dimples. Then I received my egg plate. The eggs were overcooked and dry and the toast was soggy. We had eaten at least half of our meal before we finally got the sausage which was approximately ¼ inch thick. There were waitresses standing around and they seemed more interested in visiting with each other than cleaning the restaurant. The gentlemen that waited on us told us that they were very proud to have this restaurant in this area and that it was a flagship restaurant. Restaurant management needs to do additional staff training in this location if they want it to survive. Finding dirty tables at the restaurant when staff has plenty of down time to clean the restaurant is unacceptable. There should be an attitude of professionalism among the staff and attention to their jobs rather than using their time to visit. Smoking outside the door is unacceptable as some people are allergic to cigarettes. Walking through the smoke to get in the door is unacceptable. I like having a Waffle House in the area but this one won’t survive unless management pays attention to the details.

It’s a Waffle House, so the menu, layout, and décor are just like they are everywhere. This place was very clean as it did just open up. The food was good, the staff was very friendly, and the customers were feeling the increased level of hospitality. The location, while a little tucked back there, is good. The area is much nicer than the rundown area on Capital and it’s much more central than those in Wake Forest and Youngsville. I’m also more interested in this location as a potential sign that the rest of the area is about to develop. It’s right next to a new and very nice Sheetz, and I saw that some of the area lots have also posted«For Sale» signs, so we’ll see what they have planned for the area.
