Rice King

I have been here twice. I made orange chicken and broccoli beef and needed some fried rice to go with it. I got the rice here and it was ok. not bad and not great. I now make my own so i wont be returning. You can look at the food when you walk in and see it looks like crap. Im already scared of Chinese food in general. From the looks thru the glass none of it looks appetizing. It all looks like it was there a week before i got there sitting out. the fortune cookie is good though. Cant really mess that up.

This is hands down the worst food I’ve ever had. Not only the worst Chinese food but the worst food overall! Gross gross gross. I took 3 bites and threw it all out and left with my daughter to eat elsewhere. Save your time and money. Steer clear of this place and DO NOT EAT here.

The chicken is like rubber. The rice and chow main is way too sweet. The chow main was so overcooked that it was like
Chewing paste! The short cashier is rude! She made a mistake and admitted it but when I asked for her to correct it because I was overcharge she refused. When management came over she lied to cover her own ass. Even though I Was overcharged $ 6.98, I was only refunded $ 6.00. When I explained that I wouldn’t have been so upset had she just owned up to her mistake and apologized instead of calling me a liar; she responded with eye rolling! the manager did not even ask her to apologize. He didn’t care. First and last time customer. That’s the worst customer service I have ever seen! The only thing worse than the service was the food! I’ll drive down the hill before ill driving 4 blocks to this dump again!!!

My family and I used to come here and LOVE it.
Last night I sent my husband to pick up some dinner from here and this is what is now happening:
The owner or manager or whoever is being very stingy with the food portions. He has his employees scared strait of giving too much food, and the portion size has been reduced to less than meager. It’s very disappointing. When he got home with our food, I literally asked him where the rest of it was. Even the amount of food he got was given after much argument with the workers there to give a decent amount.
We won’t be coming here again. The food is OK, but not amazing enough to pay what you pay for child sized portions.

I was at this place like 3 months ago, and yes food was not good at all. i gave it a try last night, something was different. Food was so much better so i asked the person who served me. It was under new management. no wonder. I don’t usually give 5 stars but they made so much improvements. keep up the good work. I’ll be there again soon.

I was finally steered into this place, despite somewhat negative impressions from other locals… ‘Nuff said. I was pleased to note that it wasn’t bad at all. The floors were clean, the selection was good, and the staff courteous. The food was good. I prefer more variety, more greenery… matter of fact, the only dish that looked really bad was the greenest: broccoli beef. Unfortunately there was very little of it, and it looked old. I didn’t try it, needless to say. I had the kung pao chicken and noodles. The noodles were nice and dense and sweet, and the vegetables were not overcooked or mushy… the chicken was pretty good, although deff not made with white meat. I tried a bite of my friend’s sweet and sour pork, and it was pretty good too. But he kept complaining about the pepper having a tough skin, but maybe he was eating the chili pepper from his kung pao… just a thought…

Food Poisoning!!! No Joke!!! My 6 year old daughter and I both got food poisoning from this Horrible place!!! They should be closed down!!! We filed a report against them because we got horrible food poisoning from their «orange chicken.» Please save yourself and Never go there!!! We were so miserably sick. It’s one thing for an adult to get sick but watching my baby so sick was horrible!!! This place should be condemned!!! I would rate them negative stars if I could!

This place is absolutely terrible. The food looks like it has been sitting there all day. It’s room temperature. The noodles were smushy and had no flavor except that which I imagine a dirty sock to taste like. And not only that they claim to have fresh and healthy oriental cuisine, since when is anything that sits in a heating tray for hours at a time after being deep fried healthy or fresh? I had two bites now I feel the food nausea coming on! Zero stars!

Go somewhere else if you want Chinese food. Rice King’s food disturbs my stomach.

Went there a couple times in December and I must say that the food is getting better and better and with such limited choices in Ramona, I’m glad they’re here. It would be nice if they had more vegetarian choices; however, the food that we’ve had has been fresh and tasty.

I like this place. It is similar to a panda express experience. I love their spicy orange chicken and fried rice. It is quick and the staff is really nice to everyone.

Service here is consistently bad. They are often out of certain food items and it can take 5 – 10 minutes to make. By then the rest of your food is cold. It has happened to me twice now, so it’s not just some fluke thing. Not planning on going back anytime soon.

Generic fast food Chinese. You will find all the regular stand byes, beef with broccoli, orange chicken, etc. Nothing in particular jumps out as a signature dish, but its fast and tasty. I stop in from time to time, when I’m in town for work. Staff is friendly, and its very clean.
