I must say I was VERYVERYVERY impressed with the chef! Again we are here for a wedding and I am a vegan /try to eat cruelty free and the bride had told them and the chef created the most amazing zucchini spaghetti … I was in heaven!!! I was sure to order it the next day as well!!! For breakfast I’ve been having their hash-browns with avocado and salsa and their salsa is amazing and the three things combined = flavor explosion and is absolutely delicious I highly recommend you try it!!! The coffee here is perfect and they are sure to keep it flowing. My husband has tried several items from their menu and had not been disappointed! It is a bit pricey but it is a resort and not many options near by so that is to be expected but at least the quality of the food is high and the service here is friendly as ever!!’ All our waitresses have been amazing and so sweet!!! This has been the saving grace of our stay

I now understand why this restaurant does so very bad. First off all the wait staff are teenagers and have no real idea on how to wait tables according and it was not busy and can’t can’t seem to take orders correctly or bring the correct food you order so extremely disappointing there are no words except get it together this is disgraceful they can’t even make coffee and bring creamer and the fact they have people going around stocking your table while your trying to eat your meal that has to be sent back twice just rude and also the bugs floating in my mimosa was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen

Monday through Friday for $ 5 you can get two eggs(any style), breakfast potatoes, bacon or sausage and toast. A hearty breakfast and no clean up. Service is friendly and you have beautiful views of the golf course.

Living in the estates we go here pretty often. The food is pretty good. For dinner I love the fish tacos and the chicken marsala. I also like the sandwiches for lunch. The breakfast is all pretty yummy. the pancakes are so fluffy, my daughter always gets those and it is a lot for a kid plate. But i mostly love the two mimosas that come with the breakfast order, or you can get bottomless for $ 3. Kids get some sort of page to color on and high chairs are available. Pretty view from the window seats. I only take away one star because of the cleanliness. It’s not horrible but a few times it’s been pretty messy, especially the floor. At breakfast, there was an asparagus on the floor under our table so I know that wasn’t from that morning. The servers, hostesses, and bus boys are all really nice and attentive, for the most part.

The Oaks Hands down an awesome burger! I ordered my meat rare, much to my surprise it was just as I ordered it! The bun was warm and fresh! My husband’s lemon grilled chicken salad was fresh and the chicken was delicious!

Went here today to take out my wife’s mom and sister for Mother’s Day. The hostess asked if we had reservations which we did not, and then she told us there was no availability, thus turned us away quite rudely. As we were leaving, a different server, kinder server, said there was availability but the damage was done. We thanked her and left to eat elsewhere. I’ve eaten here many times before and never had any issues. Maybe the hostess was overwhelmed or having a bad day, but customers should always be treated respectfully, reservation or not. I hope management sees this review and talks to the staff and reminds them of their obligations to treat all customers equally and respectfully.

I have disliked this place for 13 years but come here because it is close to the house. I will say the last 2 times have been good. Not perfect, but good. Law, our latest server, was great and the food was good. Hopefully this is not temporary.

Several of us came here after playing a tennis match at Riviera Oaks which is close by. The menu looks somewhat meager but we were very happily surprised by the quality. I ate the French Dip and had some of the Strawberry salad. The sandwhich and sweet potato fries were good and the salad was very fresh with homemade dressing. We were all happy with the food. Added benefit was that we were able to enjoy the outdoors while eating on the patio.

This place was highly recommended by the front desk people at our resort. They are situated in a «country club» like place — they need better signage because we walked into the bar first & were told the restaurant was across the way. The service was really good, I really appreciated our server, Ana, she was sweet & took good care of us. We ordered calamari to start, but oddly it was served with sweet & sour sauce??? So of course we asked for marinara which was non issue for Ana. The special they had was pork chops which was pretty good except for some reason my husband said«medium» which came out pink so he couldn’t eat it. So he helped me with my fish tacos which was decent. Not excellent but decent. However, Ana being awesome offered to have the chef make another pork chop for us to go — & comped us an awesome chocolate cake while we waited for the new pork chop to come out. There was just one thing off… the gratuity guide on the receipt took into consideration the comped dessert & the extra pork chop which they credited off. Not too big of a deal, but I just found it a bit… dismaying. But I’m pretty sure we’ll be back.

I ate here with friends and had the croissant club. It had shaved turkey, shaved ham, white cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and honey french dressing on it. It was good, but not spectacular. The fries that it came with were nothing out of the ordinary. For dinner, I had the cheesecake. It also was nothing specacular. Our server kept up with us well enough. Overall, its not bad if you are up that way and don’t want to go into town. I’d go back if I was in the area.

Please visit the Par Lounge next door to the Oaks Grille. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The service is amazing. The bartender, Roxy, is a master at creating cocktails, is extremely attentive, and clearly loves being here! We love it here!

I have to say that, I like what is going on here. Since this is so close to my house it is a nice for the family to eat so I can take a break from cooking for a night. I have. tried a few things here and I have decided to stay with the Alfredo. word of advice don’t order the crème brule because they never have it, so do not set your self up for disappointment. then look over the menu and order everything so they know you want dessert because many times our dessert has been completely frozen in the middle. over all a nice family place to grab a bite to eat.

This place is okay. It has decent food. The inside isn’t anything special but it does have a nice view of the golf course because of the big glass windows, however, it does get pretty hot if you’re sitting right next to it. I ordered the eggs Benedict which was really good but the potatoes weren’t great — the seasoning was weird. My family comes here every time were on vacation because it’s so close to where we stay, but I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone. It’s nothing special.

Sunday brunch for less than ten bucks per person, with champagne. Burgers the size of a small child’s face. Salads which are cold and fresh and large enough that you really do feel fed when you leave. The AC is cold in the summer and the golf course view is really serene. Go.

Price increase! Saturday and Sunday Brunch is now around $ 9.75 per person. Still reasonable, though.

After reading other reviews I was unsure if we should check it out. Thankfully we did. The wait staff is friendly and good. They kept my diet coke full, which is my criteria for attentive service. The food was excellent. This is our second visit and both times were the same. I’d recommend coming here and we’ll be back.

I always get weird looks when I come here. Yes I am 1 of the 5 black people that live in Ramona, but gosh damn, take a picture or something… The food is okay. My husband enjoys the burgers here but nothing really stands out for me.

Being new to Ramona, we heard this was the place to be on the weekends for drinks and live music. We decided to try it out this past weekend, and were very impressed. We arrived at prime time, and there wasn’t a seat to be found. 2 different people offered up their seat to my g-friend, which in itself is unheard of. While searching for a seat, Sierra stopped by and got our drink orders. She then set us up with a seat outside next to the heaters and kept an eye out for an open table. Once a table became available she moved us inside and continued with excellent service. We just had drinks and appetizers, but everything was great, and Sierra was a fantastic server. We look forward to coming back again.
