This family run, local appliance store is not only attentive, knowledgeable & eco-friendly(C’mon, refurbishing saves space in our landfills!) they have heart! They care about the individual needs of each customer. We’ve bought from them several times from our Freezer, washer & dryer, to most recently our fridge. We are happy & feel we’ve got a «Lock» on a Sacramento gem!(We’ve even had repairs done to the oven, service was prompt & reasonably priced too.) We started going here when we needed a viable/“Cheep” alternative to the big box stores… We can afford those places now, but why?

Very bad experience with potential repair of Baking element in my oven. After calling to schedule an appointment was told they would call me the night before to confirm. Didn’t happen. I called and they didn’t have me on the books. Rescheduled service. Service guy shows up late REEKING of smoke — and quotes me $ 250 to replace a simple $ 47 baking element. Are you kidding me? Then was told they didn’t carry the part and had to special order it so they wouldn’t be back for two more days. I don’t think so. Goodbye Appliance Barn. Hello Zajic.

What really makes appliance service worth writing about? Typically, not much. In this case, however, i found the following of merit: — honest assessment — responsiveness — economic options Mario and George, with dozens of years of experience between them, gave me confidence that they know what the heck they are talking about and I’m not getting taken. I want that whether you’re fixing my appliance or I’m buying one from you.
