Left request for service Monday night… no return call. Left another message Wed afternoon… They returned the call at 11 am Thursday. I told them my problem. They would have to check and call back. They called back and said a service tech would come between 2 and 4 on Friday. And by the way… they were running a $ 34 dollar special but I didn’t quality and would have to pay $ 68 because this service tech doesn’t honor that discount. Why would you tell me that? Anyway it is now 4pm on Friday. Nobody showed up. No one called. I called them. After going thru their truly stupid and annoying voice mail system I was informed that the voice mail box was full and couldn’t take any messages. Then it hung up. I say this to Evergreen… you obviously don’t need my business. I’m happy your company has so many customers it allows you the good fortune to be rude and disrespectful to a new one.

This Saturday didn’t start well when I woke to my refrigerator yelling at me. Opened the door and NOTCOLD. Thinking I would have to get someone out here on Sat. was not something I was looking forward to. Called a few shops and no one answers. What I was afraid of. Left message for Evergreen and Eathan soon called back. Got lucky– they can be here in 20 minutes. Nathan came to repair. What a knowledgeable and very nice young man. Explained everything and then proceeded to work until the job was completed as promised. Very happy I found you Evergreen. I will post on our Neighborhood Newsletter and call you first next time. thanks

Had a service tech out within 2 days to fix my dishwasher, which wasn’t draining water. They didn’t have the part on hand(annoying!) so I had to wait another 3 days for that to arrive and be installed but it was all included in one price. I’m not sure why I had to pay a deposit on the part and then the rest at the end. The service man was nice, he explained what was happening to the washer, but I’m not happy that it took so long to get the actual problem solved. They offered a small military discount which was nice. All in all, good work.

This is the second time I have used Evergreen Appliance. The first time I had them install a microwave. The second time a drain clogged in the dishwasher. Both times they were quick to respond and fairly priced. Minimum service call $ 58, which is more than fair. I will continue to use Evergreen, as they always answer their phone!

***UPDATE*** We did in fact go through the entire small claims process. The court assigned mediator/arbitrator attempted to settle the case outside the courtroom, but the owner of Evergreen Appliance was adamant he was not going to settle. The judge ordered Evergreen to issue us a complete refund in addition to court costs. It is unfortunate when a business owner does not feel they need to be held accountable for countless errors and poor customer service. ***PENDINGSMALLCLAIMSCASE.*** Full review to be posted after outcome of the case. Basically incorrect replacement part for refrigerator ordered twice and repair was not completed within 2 weeks.

Courteous and friendly and able to come out on same day with a window between 12−2pm. Microwave was not working. I wasn’t home so I had left check and credit card with roommate. Guy looked at it and said it would be $ 492 to fix it and charged me $ 58.00 for their service call. When I came home their was a quote for the $ 492 with something in the«description of Tasks» box that was difficult to read that I believe says«replace Nag & Cap & dioap flat role,» which is confusing and unclear. I checked prices for a new unit and it was $ 178.00 at Home Depot for a replacement unit. $ 207 Installed. I’m going to call Evergreen and try to figure out why they wouldn’t have better communication on their forms so I could be clear on why they would be charging more than twice as much as a new unit would cost to fix it. I think I used this company when it was Mr. Appliance but I’m not sure.

This is my second review for Evergreen Appliance. Again, I am so impressed that I must share my experience. Our washer conked out on us on Sunday afternoon(Mother’s Day, no less). We left a message with Evergreen on Sunday. They promptly called back on Monday morning and had a technician(Steve again!) at my house by 11:15am that SAMEDAY. The appt. window was 11am-1pm. Steve checked out the washer and determined what the problem was. He also took a look at my refrigerator, after I casually mentioned that it had stopped making ice. Don’t you love full service like that? Who does that anymore? Thanks again Evergreen. I will be passing out your magnets & cards to all my friends and neighbors!
