I’ve only been here one time, but I thought it was excellent. First, the manager could see that I had not been in his establishment, so he took a few minutes to explain some of the menu items and even provided samples to include several sauces and meats. All were fantastic! Next, I ordered the kale quinoa salad and it was really nice and fresh and I like the creamy lemon dressing that came with it. I will certainly be back to try some of the other menu offerings.

The owner and his wife are super friendly and helpful, offering up samples to new customers.
Been here twice, and the food was excellent both times. Chicken gyro combo w/​cumcumber sauce, with the lemon Caesar dressing on the salad.
Place is clean, plenty of space inside. Maybe not the best decorating, but they are super focused on the food, and it shows. The little pot of tea they serve is just the topper. I skip a soda or lemonade and just drink the tea.
I’ll keep coming back and bringing new peeps with!

This place is actually a really solid dining experience complete with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Grills and Greens is a fantastic addition to Rancho Cordova and should be recognized as such. This place has a unique menu of Persian/​Greek food that is boarder line addictive. My most recent visit consisted of a chicken gyro sandwich combo which is essentially the sandwich, a side salad, pita and a generous serving of hummus. The sandwich itself is delicious consisting of greens, chicken, some onion mixture, your choice of sauce (spicy mango, mmm) all on a pita bread. Wash this entire meal down with one of their fresh squeezed lemonade and you have yourself a delicious lunch. Overall, highly recommended.

First time here, and the owner is wonderful. He offered a sample of the meats, I initially was going to have the eggplant & cauliflower sandwhich, but the beef was so good, I had to switch to beef. I was able to add cauliflower to that sandwich which is great. The sauces are wonderful too. Glad to have a healthy option in the area.

This place is probably my all-​time favorite lunch spot. Especially if you’re looking for a super fresh and healthy option!
The service is absolutely wonderful. From the second you walk in the door, you are warmly welcomed, offered samples, and never feel as though you’re left waiting.
The establishment is very clean, always. I think it is fairly new, so the décor is also up-​to-​date. It has a «community» feel, so to speak. You can choose to sit at one of the smaller tables, or one of the larger ones. They also provide very comfy couches that have table space.
The food itself is delicious. I usually go with one of the combos, and it is a TON of food. They have both meat and vegetarian options. All of it is made in-​house, so it is the best quality you can find in Rancho. For veggies: their eggplant cauliflower sandwich is to die for :)

5 months on from my first visit and this place continues to rock my world.
The food is fresh and delicious. I get the chicken sandwich with spicy mango and baarg sauce mixed togeather, add avocado (and you get a TON of avocado) and that is enough food to me for lunch.
The lemonade is made fresh.
The service and staff are amazing and friendly.
They give you free hot tea if you dine in!

I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so nicely while ordering food, and the food was very good as well! Trust me you want to try this.

I had no complaints for this place. The owners could tell it was my first visit and immediately had the cook prepare several samples to taste to help me and my friend make a decision. Everything was, tender and it made it hard to make a decision. I finally ordered the kale and quinoa salad with the grilled chicken. They came with the hummus dressing. The salad was so flavorful and delicious I’ve been bragging on it ever since. My friend ordered the beef gyro and with every bite she couldn’t help but go mmmmmm, mmmm. We also enjoyed refreshing fresh lemonade. This is a great place for vegetarians and meat lovers. The owners extremely kind and helpful. I spent about 2 hours sitting and talking in this cozy, comfortable environment. The owners were so thoughtful they brought us some complimentary tea to enjoy while we were talking. I am so happy to have the addition of this type of food and these wonderful business owners to our neighborhood. Highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place. The first time I walked in, I was expecting it to be a bit more restaurant like rather than café. I was pleasantly surprised.
As soon as you walk in, they offer you meat and sauces to sample, so you can choose your favorite. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly!
The food is delicious. So far I’ve had the 2 meat rice platter, twice, and the eggplant/​cauliflower sandwich. Nothing has disappointed me.
The spicy mango sauce and the baarg sauce are my favorites.
As a Persian-​American, I adore Persian tea. I usually find that at restaurants they make it too strong, but not here! It’s flavorful and maybe even a tad too light. But so, so, delicious.
I highly recommend trying this place for lunch or an early dinner.

Stopped by this spot recently for some dinner. I really enjoyed it, and will probably be back soon.
The décor is really cute! It is is very clean inside. The service was really good and everyone was friendly they made us feel very welcome. Now on to the main thing, the food was great! The falafel was amazing! Seriously the best I have ever had. All the sauces and dressings were really yummy (they gave us little samples so we could try all the different ones since it was out first time). I really wish they served lamb, but the choices were only beef or chicken. Don’t get me wrong, both the chicken and beef were delicious, but if I get gyro, I usually get lamb. Even without the lamb, I will be back. OH, almost forgot… fresh squeezed raspberry lemonade. Get it. Your welcome.

I get lunch from here about once each week — it’s so good! Their menu mainly consists of rice plates, gyro sandwiches, hummus and salads (sorry, no kabobs). My favorite thing to get is the beef gyro rice plate, which is a solid serving of beef on top of basmati rice and a mixed greens side salad. You get to watch them carve the meat from the shawarma rotating behind the counter and then decide on the sauce for the meat. The roasted bell pepper sauce, or «barg», is awesome. If you’re vegetarian, I’ve heard that the falafel is great… they are made to order so are served fresh and piping hot.
Because they are eco-​conscious, their ingredients are natural and locally sourced, and they use earth-​friendly containers… the bottled sodas are made with real sugar! A plus if you are into that kind of thing.
The staff is also very friendly. The owner is pretty good at recognizing regular diners and has offered Persian tea on the house for dining in. I haven’t had the chance to try it though since I normally have lunch al desko and get my food to go.

Their doner (Shavirma sp?) was surprisingly delicious. It is all meat and not the run of the mill gyro ground beef stuff.

I «discovered» this place when I was at Bedrosian’s across the street. I was going to stop at Subway when the sign for Grills and Greens caught my attention. I’m super happy it did because I had an OUTSTANDING lunch. The menu is «street Persian» cuisine. It’s grilled sandwiches, salads, etc.
All of the food is made to order. The two different sandwiches I tasted were very tasty. Same with the hummus. I had a raspberry limeade. It was excellent. It was nicely tart with a hint of sweetness. The flavor was just right and it wasn’t overly sweet as most lemonades and limeades are. BTW, the lemonades and and limeades are also «homemade.»
The owner is friendly and very enthusiastic about the freshness and quality of the food. He definite has a great deal of pride in the food that he serves.
I HIGHLY recommend a visit. I will be back soon

Love their food!!! I work next door so when I have lunch shifts I come directly over here to eat!!! ;) My fave sauce is actually the spicy mango! Btw, customer service is fantastic!!! Love the owners of this place! :) they are so welcoming and generous and will continuously give u samples.

This place is located in a reconstructed Jack in the box on Sunrise just north of White Rock. I’ve watched the buildout over the past months happen as I drive past during my daily commute. When I saw the name on the sign, «Grills and Greens» I had no idea what type of food would be offered. Well, today I found out.
The Mrs and I stopped in for a late lunch-​early dinner.
First impressions entering were pretty positive: clean, bright, open, and comfortable. Menu signs on the wall listed Middle Eastern type offerings and were clear enough for us to make our food choices.
When we were ready to order the husband/​wife owner team listened to our requests, but instead of just nodding and putting our orders together, they walked us through all the ingredient and sauce/​dressing options they offer. We sampled pickles, meats, two salad dressings, and four different sauces. Oh, and a falafel. After all that explaining and sampling, we got what this place is about: fresh as can be, made to order, «customizable», casual, Middle Eastern fare.
So the Mrs gets a chicken gyro sandwich combo and I go for the beef gyro rice plate. Both meals were $ 11.99 each. And we opted for a couple of the lemonades that are advertised as fresh squeezed for $ 2 each.
Our meals were served in biodegradable clamshell containers on a plastic tray. The lemonades were already in containers in a drink refrigerator.
We grab a table and start in on the food. The first thing we both noticed were the fairly large portions. The second notable was the quality.
Mrs and I were both noticeably quiet during our meal. Obviously we enjoyed our meals and talking would have just gotten in the way. As we were eating the owner brought over tea and inquired if we needed anything else. Very friendly service.
We both enjoyed our food immensely. My steak and rice was super flavorful and the tahini based sauce I chose was a winner. The Mrs sandwich was loaded with fresh veggies and a good helping of moist flavorful chicken. The salads we both enjoyed were super fresh and were a «spring mix» green type. The salad dressings were light, bright, and again, flavorful.
A couple of things to note if you choose to pay this place a visit.
1) Tell them it’s your first visit and taste the dressings and sauces. And unless you’re like me and believe that food is a sauce/​gravy delivery system, get them on the side the first time out.
2) This is not fast food. It’s cook to order fresh food. Even on a Saturday afternoon it took a few minutes to get our orders. Not a long wait, but reasonable for the food we received.
3) Try the lemonade. Light, fresh and not at all sugary.
Today’s visit was such a positive experience that we can’t wait to return. Wonderful service, flavorful offerings, nice surroundings. This place is a must-​try.

How freakin’ cute is this place?! From the owner and his wife to the décor. If you’re on the fence about trying this place (like I was) do yourself a favor and give it a go. I know in the past I’ve tried places based on the good Unilocal ratings and have been let down… this place is legit.
I walked in and was greeted with a smile by the owner and his lovely wife. She’s adorable! Reminds me of a total Mom figure «try this! eat more you’re a growing girl!» type. I was given samples of the beef and chicken, 4 different house-​made sauces, AND the house-​made salad dressings. Normally businesses these days scoff at you if you even hint that you want a sample. I didn’t even have to ask… in fact he insisted I try so that I order something I like.
The beef is super juicy as is the chicken. I got the 2-​item rice plate with beef and chicken and had the balsamic vinaigrette for the salad. I also had the green sauce (I believe it’s with cucumber) and the spicy mayo sauce.
Generous portions, a total Mom n Pop feel and best of all kick ass food! I’d say today’s lunchtime find was a success.

Wow! By far the friendliest staff I have ever met in a restaurant environment.
And backed by yummy food. The gyro sandwich combo is very delicious and quite a bit of food. Come hungry.
And they have real DR Pepper-​made with real sugar.

Went here for an early lunch and was impressed. When you walk in you are immediately greeted even if they are very busy and the owner offered samples of the chicken and beef. With the samples comes their sauces. My favorite was the yogurt, garlic, cucumber, and mint sauce (the light green sauce). It was really delicious. I ordered the sandwich combo to go. The bread was a big, fresh, & hearty. Meat was flavorful and grilled well. Veggies were super fresh! I LOVED the sandwich! I also LOVED the side salad & DRESSING! I usually don’t like dressing, but I tried the Lemon Caesar and I definitely will be back for more!

Came here for lunch today and got the chicken gyro pita lunch combo. The pita was excellent. The pita has tomatoes, seasoned onions, bell peppers, baby greens and pickles. I got everything minus pickles and they were a really great compliment to the chicken. Everything was seasoned well but not overpowering.
The combo was $ 9.75 with tax and includes a drink and chips, so not a bad price.
Will definitely coming back again!

We eat out a lot! This is one of cleanest establishments I have ever eaten. The food is amazing! The service is amazing!
Combos are big enough for two!
Even in the restaurant is made on site and not from a can or jar.
All of their plates cups straws and silverware are all biodegradable and made from sustainable products.
The owner even brought out free hot tea and cookies when we were done eating.
