Heaven’s Nails

This was the worst mani/​pedi I’ve had. I thought I ‘d save some money. The advertisement on the store front window was $ 20 for a manicure and pedicure. And for convenience sake, it was right behind the restaurant where we just ate breakfast. I don’t think cleanliness is a priority there. Well, neither is basic nail cosmetology for that matter. Everything was done half-​assed. Seriously, I could have done a better job myself. I did not feel pampered one bit. The only person working there was the owner. I think her husband ran the back counter for alterations. She was a very nice lady, just a little too intrusive. She was talking to me like she was my mother. You’re not my mother! Can we just focus on the nails, please? Anyways, I’m not really one to complain, and I guess it was out of respect towards my mother that I didn’t. I know… she’s not my mother! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t get many customers, so I let the shotty nail job go. I just wanted to get the heck outta there, so I could take the polish off and throw some clear coat on them myself. Ahhhh, much better.
