I have been a customer at this facility for just under one year. After sorting out several billing issues in the first couple months, they have pulled the boat down for me on several occasions without a problem. I had even paid an extra $ 15.00 a month to charge my boat batteries twice a month. Then today, 3÷7÷16, I received a letter in the mail informing me that my monthly fee, $ 145.00 a month for an 18′ bass boat would be raised to $ 168.00 a month on 4÷1÷16. Needless to say, I was quite upset, especially given a rate lock was something I asked about from day one and was told not to worry. So I called and spoke to Tiffany about the increase. She let me know that she hadn’t been aware of this change until other renters called today to complain. She also let me know that prices had gone up because the facility was fully booked. This led me to ask if the price increase was simply a way for the company to make more money and gouge their customers. To my surprise, she told me that was exactly what the company was doing and I could do nothing to maintain my current rate. However, she told me I Could lower my overall rate by dropping the additional $ 15.00 fee, and not have my batteries charged every month. Additionally, she let me know that I was free to explore other storage options at other facilities which happened to be the corporate response to upset customers like myself. She concluded our conversation by letting me know the current rates were actually around $ 200.00 on the Internet, so I was actually getting a discount. Quite generous!!! I just needed to make sure I let them know if I was going to remove my boat before the 1st. I can understand moderate rate increases when they are warranted. However, I also understand a company should try to retain their customer base without arbitrary increases. Their verbal assurances early on were quickly negated when she let me know that rate increases are in the contract So what I was told meant little. I like to do business with good companies that provide a good product and good customer service. However, this company has shown little regard for offering a quality product while maintaining a shred of integrity. Disappointing!!!

Two things about this company. 1) They just raised their monthly rates 37% for my boat. From $ 109 to $ 149. 2) you can not rely on them to have your boat available for pickup. One Sunday I called and they were unable to remove boats from the rack because they only had one(1) employee on-site. This past week I traded. Emails concerning having my boat available for pickup after closing time Saturday. They said they would leave it in the secure yard where I could pickup anytime. I went there Sunday at 8am and guess what, no boat. Had to wait until 9 for them to open and lower boat from rack. Poorly managed facility. Can’t imagine what would need to happen for me to consider them again.

I cannot say enough good things about iStorage Sunrise. We have had our boat in storage here for the last 6 months. Because our boat needed some work done my husband would work on the boat at istorage. The staff is exceptional, outstanding customer service. We would call and they would pull our boat out and have it ready to go. When we were done they would pull the boat back in. The facility has a boat/camper/motor home cleaning area. The actually storage facility was impeccably clean and well kept. I never had to chase someone down to help me with paying our bill or any questions I had. I felt the storage fees were reasonable and the security of the facility was the best you will find. An added feature is seeing the forklift lift the boats 4 stories high and place them in there storage spot –pretty awesome. This place is the best in town.
