I am extremely upset with this daycare.
First some quick background on my little brother, Jonathan. He is adopted. He was not born under the best of circumstances and because of these issues, he has had problems progressing at a normal rate. My mother disclosed this information when he first started with kids world at the age of 2. Jonathan would need extra help and attention to develop proper motor skills. He will have to deal with these disabilities as he gets older.
2 years later and it comes of no surprise that he has had issues with potty training. My family and his therapists have been working diligently for the past year to try and potty train him but he still has accidents. For some reason *enter sarcastic tone*, he was able to go on the toilet with his therapist and at home, but he had not once been able to go at daycare. When my mother confronted them about their potty training method, they put the blame on Jonathan for him never having told them he had to go potty!
Now two weeks before his fourth birthday, they warn us that if he can’t go on the toilet by himself they will kick him out of the daycare. Of course my whole family and his therapists from his speech class put in the work to try and have him meet the deadline but I saw little effort or care coming from the day care staff. Jonathan had two accidents on his birthday and they called my mother to let her know it was his last week there. They had set him up to fail. When my mother tried to plead with them, they practically laughed at her and tried to deny any negligence on their part (if they had been taking him to the toilet regularly, he would have been able to go at least once).
I don’t feel that the staff here cares about the children. They would not kick out a 4 year old boy, on his birthday, that had literally spent half his life there. My recommendation is to find another daycare, one that is willing to put time and attention into your children, especially if they are special needs.

i originally had a really great first impression over the phone talking to the director! and what was even more impressionable for me, was that they have an open door policy! but when i showed up at about 4:30 pm, to tour that same day .IT WAS A DISASTER! i stood outside of their door, for about 20 – 25 minutes ringing their guest doorbell, while children were inside playing UNATTENDED! finally a woman came to the door, pleading for forgiveness as she mentioned being very busy ! She looked like a recovering drug addict in a sweat shirt and sweatpants, with boots on that literally looked like they had been through World War Two! i tried not to judge off of her appearance first, but when i told her i was there for a tour, she told me .“JUST TAKE A LOOK AROUND WHILE I DEAL WITH THESE KIDS” .REALLY !!!as a child who looked maybe 2 or younger had fallen out on the floor do to another child who was about age 10 mishandling them! i couldn’t believe how that woman, wether she was a teacher or staff was handling the situation! it took me about all of 5 minutes to walk around and see that this is no place to have your child while your hard at work and paying top dollar to have incompetent staff handling your child! i mean each section of their preschool, including their bathroom just looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen! There were little to no toys, if so they were old! And their blue carpet looked as thin and hard as concrete! Please, I know some people are on strict financial terms and/​or really just need care for their child, BUT DONT SEND THEM HERE! please !And if your child is here, take your next lunch or break to go sneak in on your child and see what’s REALLY going on there! its SCARY !

All 3 of my daughters went to Kids World from the age of 3 months until preschool. The teachers there are amazing, great with both parents and kids, and all of my kids learned alot. They do great art projects, and eat good food. The only problem I would note, is their billing cycle. You only have the option of paying once a month or every other Monday, neither of which worked around my paydays, so I was always accruing late fees, and the owner would not budge or give me other payment options. More flexible payment options would have made everything there just about perfect.

My child has attended this day care for 7 months and I cannot say enough great things about them. We feel comfortable leaving our baby there each day and she seems to be happy there. We will continue to use it as long as we live near by.

I love this place. They have an open door policy so anytime i feel like dropping in the staff is always welcoming. My child loves coming to «school» here. As far as the money thing. I dont mind, im glad they’re on top if it. I know when and how much is coming out of my account and if i ever have any questions the staff is always right there and available to answer my questions.

My husband and i utilized this daycare for their drop in care services when i went back to work and he was in the process of looking for full time employment back in 2012. One day I was in a training when i noticed that i had several missed calls from the daycare so I frantically called them back worrying that their was something wrong with my 4 month old son. The woman who answered the phone reported that their credit card machine was down so my husband would need to bring «cash money» to pick up our son. The staff member had also tried calling everyone of our emergency contacts. I was really upset with the lack of professionalism and when i contacted the director to let them know about what had happened, she did not seem at all concerned. I was extremely upset to be contacted in this manner and got the impression that this daycare puts their financial needs over those of my son.
