I went in a couple days ago to buy new work shoes. The girl working didn’t say much but she liked to stand at the end of the aisle looking at us. The shoes were really comfy in the store but after a day of wearing them, the shoes ended up making me limp. I looked all over for the receipt but could not find it. I thought it was worth a try anyway and went in to return or exchange the shoes. The first girl I spoke to told me it was fine and that I had a credit for $ 29.99 even though I paid $ 34.99. She said that since I didn’t have my receipt, the offer the lowest going price. Which makes no sense because they sell them for $ 34.99. I think whatever, fine. That is when we meet their cheese ball, crap for brains manager. He was just an annoying human to begin with then goes to the register and tells them how they need to charge me a different price for the shoes because of a purse I got the visit before which ends up short changing me $ 20 or my $ 20 credit. This was after I was already told what credit I would receive. They refused me my owed credit and I had to leave just saying fine, I will just never shop here again. I hate that I lost a valuable $ 20 to this horrible business.

Definitely a fan — Pros: The employee offered me help upon arrival but didn’t circle the store like a vulture the entire time we were trying on shoes. Also, they accept debit/atm cards in-store while many Payless show stores do not. Con: Shoes are WAY overpriced. It’s Pay-less, not pay-like-you’re-at-Macy’s.

The store next to walmart could be in a better location. The service from the staff is always great and they are super friendly. The store is very clean and easily shop-able. Certainly easy to swing in, buy shoes, and bounce!
