This place is really great. When my car didn’t pass the smog test, they told me what was wrong and what part I needed to get for it to.pass. I got the part and went back and it passed. They give you a second try if you don’t pass the first time. The store is really super clean and cool and you are in and out in 15 minutes. I will be telling all my friends and family to go to Smog Tech Pros Rancho Cordova when they need to have their car smogged. Thank you guys for your outstanding service. It was much appreciated.

Amazing guys. Fast and efficient. It is so nice not having to waste my whole day just to get a smog check. I had 2 people ahead of me and I was outta there in 15 minutes. I would highly recommend Smog tech pros whenever you need to get your car done.

Taylor was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. The waiting room area was very clean and tidy. They have a water dispenser and magazines for guests while waiting. It was extremely quick too! We went in on a Saturday and were in and out in about 15 mins.

I went there at 3:00pm and I’m the only one that went but so far the customer service is really good. My smog check was done within 10 – 15 minutes definitely coming back the coupon works only paid $ 40 for my 2005 subaru wrx.

Wow what a great place. I called ahead to make sure they would be open by the time I got there. when I showed up at 5:00 I was the only customer. There were 2 employees and before I finished the paper work they already had my car in the bay. They were so quick I didn’t even get a chance to finish thumbing through the HOT ROD magazine they had out. I think it only took about 5 minutes. That was THE FASTEST smog I’ve ever gotten and the price with a coupon is very competitive. I’m going to get all my smogs done here now. The guys are very courteous as well.

Who writes a review of Smog check? Elites do! I found this thanks to Unilocal as I randomly thought to get a smog check since my car registration was past do. The $ 10 dollar off on Unilocal helped me drive there as I was in the neighborhood.
It would be nice if they had prices for smog check posted. So the first question I asked is how much for a smog check? Guy quoted me $ 59 dollars and I thought that was a little high. So I asked if they had any coupons? He said yay in the penny saver. Well what about Unilocal?Oh yeah he said. Whatever, how much is smog check. Yadi yadi yadi!
Customers shouldn’t have to go through that. It’s really simple… Just post the darn pricing!

Friendly staff, best price in town (with my coupon), and incredibly fast service. I stopped in without an appointment and less than 10 minutes later my car was out front waiting for me to go.

I went there last Friday about 4:30PM & I was out in less the 15 – 20 minutes. And there was still a customer in front of me. Nice customer service. Guess this will be my go to for smogs from now on!

They were fast, but when my car failed, the man at the front was very condescending. It is not their place to judge me for how I maintain my car – simply tell me what I need to do instead of lecturing me or giving me attitude. It ended up being a simple fix and the shop where I took it smogged it for me, so I ended up not using my free recheck. Totally worth it to not have to deal with this man again. Given there is another smog check place literally one block away and more in the area, they should seriously work on their customer service.

I don’t use my real last name on social media. I had used you guys before and didn’t have a problem. He failed me because my computer wasn’t ready to test because I had disconnected the battery to work on it prior and didn’t drive it enough. Then he told me he would fail my retest for not having an under hood sticker. Why test me in the first place if he thought he couldn’t pass for not having a sticker. BAR did contact you and told you to refund my money or I would go through with my complaint. You were out of the country when this happened.

Took my car in to be smogged and apparently all of the monitors were not on yet. Instead of telling me and sending me on my way they failed my car and made me pay the smog fee. I had to return that Monday for a retest once the monitors were on and ready. Now my car will always have a failed smog on its carfax and I just felt like it was very dishonest. I called two other smog shops out of curiosity and they both said if monitors weren’t ready they would just tell me to return later not fail my car.

Well I came off here from the Unilocal reviews and also a friends review. It really took no less than 10 min. They send your smog cert electronically to the dmv and all you do is pay your fees.
They pull your car up front and boom you are done.
Since it’s been like 12 years since I actually had a smog done this new way is so awesome. It’s fast and easy.
$ 58.24 and I was out the door.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Being only about 7 months old, they are doing a great job. Find a coupon here:

and get a smog check for 31.25 + Cert Fees. Its a small place that handles a good amount of cars coming in. Coming early gives you a head start on the time it takes to check your vehicle. Its in a convivent location around several stores so i wouldn’t of mind waiting for a bit. Definitely coming back.
