This place is AWSOME I started out my open water here and since that was such a great experience, I have gotten my CPR and AED cert and now my Advanced Diver Cert. Highly recommended this place… Brian your a great instructor. Thank you

My siblings and I did this course. Brain was really helpful in everything we did. I really appreciate the time he takes to make everything perfect. He teaches the course with detail while having fun. I highly recommend Brain if you want your scuba diving certification.

B.A.D.A.S.S. diving is freaking amazing! Brian is knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and AWESOME. He is currently in paramedic school so he can save your life if you don’t follow the basic important rules of scuba diving.
Why I love Brian… I signed up to get my certification within three weeks of my departure to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Brian did everything in his power to accomodate my schedule to make sure that I took my classes and did my dives on time, even if this meant losing his own time/​money because I was the only one taking the course. What you might not understand is a business will not operate if there is a potential that they would lose money. Brian knew that I was pressed for time and went against the grain.
It took me two weeks to complete the theory and one practice dive in the pool. I did my open water dives on the third weekend in Laguna Beach, two dives on Saturday and two dives on Sunday.
Saturday was a success. However on Sunday Brian felt ill, his bowels were acting up (sorry for putting you on blast Brian). Brian told me, «I desperately wanted to cancel this dive but I couldn’t do that you.»
Long story short, Brian is an amazing human being with a huge heart. His company deserves the love. He is passionate about diving and so knowledgeable. And he and can save your life!

My boyfriend and I are in the process of getting our scuba certifications right now, and we did the classroom work and pool dive with Brian. He went over every single topic in the PADI course books, stopped to explain anything that needed further explaining, as well as being very open and approachable to «dumb» questions. For the pool dive he made sure everyone was comfortable and able to master each skill – no matter how many times someone needed to go over it. Overall, he has a very relaxed and approachable demeanor which made the class fun.

Badass Diving is an excellent way to get scuba certified. The instructor was extremely flexible and able to work with me to schedule my classwork, pool dive, and ocean dives. I enjoyed being able to complete the training mid week rather that use a consecutive month of weekends. The class size was extremely small allowing ample time for practice and questions. I enjoyed my scuba experience and would recommend BADASS diving to anyone wanting to get certified.

My husband and I had a great experience learning how to scuba dive together with Brian. He was very professional, informative, and fun! All of our questions were answered and he prepared us in a way that we felt completely confident about our skills and knowledge before even entering the ocean. Once in the ocean, I felt safe and secure, knowing that we had such a knowledgeable Scuba Dive Master with us who knew the ropes and would help us to become familiar with the site, our gear, and the skills we were demonstrating. He was very patient and showed lots of enthusiasm when we completed our skills. Overall, he was very accommodating with our schedule and even let us set the date and times for all our dives, since we are from out of town and had to scrunch it all into one weekend. The experience was worth every penny and I highly recommend Brian Anderson and the Dive Shop he works out of. If you are looking for a private/​semi-​private dive instructor, he is excellent!
