Dave’s environment is awesome. I love the music and the New Orleans blues vibe. People are listening and singing all the songs. Or just flowing in the down house ambience of the moment. Take your best girl and your whole family and let the good times roll. We tried the ribs, chicken and shrimp and were blown away. Kristen was our server and Kim was the hostess. They made you feel like this was our neighborhood spot and we were locals. Plan to return soon.

Giving this place two stars because my waiter was great but I’m not sure about the food. I got the hot link and pork, it kinda had a wierd taste but since I’ve never had it before I wasn’t sure but I fell violently I’ll the following morning and have been down for 3 days now. Worst stomach problems ever… I probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

Dined at Famous Dave’s today. I ordered my slab of ribs naked(without sauce) and it was delivered to the table with sauce. Not a big deal because the ribs are excellent either way. I mentioned the minor error to my waitress who then called the manager to my table. The manager(I feel foolish for forgetting his name) insisted that I take a slab the way I had ordered it free of charge. I refused, but he would not take no for an answer. I agreed and he personally delivered the slab to my table along with an apology. I always favored Famous Dave’s above other restaurants because I felt the food was superior. Now, after this display of superior management, I consider this location to stand alone above the rest. Outstanding.

It was nice to have the option to order online and to pick it up. I got my order five minutes before the ready time. The only downside is that it wasn’t what I thought it was. Would be better if there were phone orders. Not sure if there is, but on their website, there was no indication.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We walked in and the fire alarm had gone off. We were told that in a few minutes they would have it fixed. We waited 45 minutes with that ear piercing noise. It was freezing outside so sitting outside was not an option, especially when you have small kids. We asked the manager Christopher how much longer of a wait. He was very rude, he said it will be soon. All the while that noise was ringing he whole time. We ended up leaving after 45 minutes. We were initially told it would be a 25 minute wait. I was really looking forward to eating here but with the broken fire alarm, starving kids crying, and rude service we he to go somewhere else. I will maybe give this place a try again in the not so near future.

So I went back recently, and they brought back the cornbread muffins, the baked chips, and the sauces! I can seriously respect a company that listens to their customers because I know I wasn’t the only one that wasn’t happy with the changes. It takes a big person to admit they were wrong, the same can be said for a company. Still missing the chicken tenders, but I am still happy nonetheless. I will be happy to return back.

If your placing an order to go, DONOTCALL the order center 900−481−2271. I called to place my order two hours ago. Came to pickup the order. Call center never sent the order to this location. Cashiers told me the call center is a waste of time this always happens.

Just as good, if not better then the one in Riverside. Excellent service, seated quickly even tho it was quite busy. Order was correct and served quickly. Good times with our friends.

Ordered a kids meal and BBQ plate to go. Took them 35 mins to get my order ready, after they said it will take 10 mins. Never coming back here again. I’ll rather go to the other BBQ place in rancho.

Not good. I stay at the HGI in the same parking lot to this restaurant. Tried to walk in and order to go but found no one available for just under 15 minutes. Their to go counter simply want manned and when I asked the bar tender to call someone that didn’t help. No one ever showed. 7:35pm on 2⁄3. Manager wouldn’t come out when I requested him to, I wasted time in a restaurant that’s poorly managed and doesn’t understand customer service is what they sell. Plenty of other good restaurants in the area. Great service next door.

We’ve been here three times now, so I feel like that’s enough to write a qualified review. I want to begin by saying that I actually prefer famous daves to lucilles. My husband is on the fence, but the brisket here is FAR superior– it’s more tender, and full of flavor. The macaroni and cheese is amazing(if you like jalepenos, which I do) and their beans and mashed potatoes are pretty darn good too. The sauces are mostly delicious, so no complaints there. Contrary to what another reviewer posted recently, they do have all 6 sauces available at the table, they still do chips, and they still have cornbread muffins. My only complaint is maybe that the drink menu was a little sticky and their iced tea isn’t that great, but the food is bomb.

I have ate at this place before but it had been years… Now I remember why I never craved this place… Won’t be coming back again! Food did not taste good at all! I only enjoyed the chips. as far as the wait time… They need to get that timing down! Waited double the time than what we were told we would wait. Not easy when u have two toddlers to try to keep entertained!

My bf and I come here because its close to home and it gets the job done when we are craving for some bbq. I took off one star for the food. The bbq here is decent. It is good but not the best. I think Lucille’s bbq is way better. I took off another star for the service. We have dine-in here twice. Both times the service was slow and the server forgot about us. Both times we waited awhile to place our order. The other time we did not get water refills or our server never checked on our table until we were already done with the meal. Now instead of dining in, we get our food to go.

Food is good but management need more action like training employees! 1) Monday at 2:30pm, it’s not a rush hour! Hostess wasn’t at the front! It’s took about 8 minutes wait at front until hostess show up! Do we seat our self moment? 2) we ordered onion rings from appetizer, server came back and it’s out! It’s ok understandable but server didn’t suggest any other food item and still charge it on my bills. 3) Food runner brings out the wrong order! We order combo for 4 to 6 ppl. They bring out for 2. We have to wait during meal and no apologies! Do I go back again? So many better choices in neighborhoods that kids and I agreed not to return this one. We’ll pay same money at Lucille and for sure better food and service!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at this location. I think it’s time to give Famous Dave’s a 5-star, at least on this particular visit 6÷10÷15. We started our dinner with their house salad which comes with bits of bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and croutons. It was a very tasty and refreshing salad. We also ordered the new«pineapple rage» medium cut ribs, which have a slight habañero blend for a delicious sweet and spicy taste. My wife thought they were pretty spicy, but they were perfect for me. Finally, we ordered the famous«feast for two» dish that comes served on a trash can lid loaded with goodies. It had a full rack of spare ribs, a whole country roasted chicken, choice of brisket or chopped pork, and a few sides to choose from. We had a group of 3 and we still had plenty of food left over! On top of all the delicious food, we had excellent service. Our waitress Lisa did her job well, but it was Carlos, the host, which made a great impression on my family and I. I can do a whole review based on his kindness and attentiveness to the customers. I just want to let his manager know that he has a great employee in Carlos. He needs to be out on the floor more often, instead of bussing tables, and greeting the customers, which he did very well.

Just left this place all of 5 minutes ago with attempt at celebrating pre-Mother’s Day. Best to beat the crowd, right? My Mom swears by this place and despite Lucille’s being just around the Mulberry bush, it’s not«my day» so who am I to rain on her parade and offer suggestions??? What I can definitely attest to is the fact that NONE,…repeat NONNNE of the items on the menu appeared that way when presented before us. This place may as well have been the Las Vegas«Blue Man» show bearing in mind the photo trickery they pulled upon bringing my simple order of brisket nachos to the table. The plate came out prior to all of the other orders but was not only cold but the cheese… unmelted and the order all in all was flaccid and void of life. As a result, I was required to send it back, not once but TWICE! I can’t stand when places try to «fluff» their orders by providing the bear minimum of what you REALLY want(in this case it was brisket and chicken) and add all of the extraneous fu fu items, such as an over-abundance of chips, sour cream, etc. thinking consumers won’t know the difference. The fact that it was served cold is absolute proof that my niece could’ve conjured this mess up within her EZBAKE oven!!! To add fuel to flame, while awaiting our entrees, the appetizer salads arrived and possessed withered lettuce. The croutons were by far the highlight but the loose, runny and watery ranch dressing was a complete letdown. All in all, I could’ve had an absolute V8 and been twice as content. «The feast», however, was just that… A FEAST! I only downed one rib but still, the portions were Flintstone comparable and my parents both seemed to enjoy it. On the other hand, I’m less than impressed by this establishment as a whole and I’m compelled to acknowledge that. In the past, I’ve witnessed a form of management stop by your table to personally apologize in the event that there was less than pleasant service or the food wasn’t quite up to par. NOTTHECASEHERE ^^^. This speaks complete volumes as I see it. The drinks were the only thing served to satisfaction. Perhaps there’s some strategy here. Get em’ drunk and they’ll never remember how poor their food was. Well I’m home, my buzz has worn off and I’m still coherent enough to compose this. For the record, I’m not pleased«Dave» and your level of fame has decreased as I see it. GETITTOGETHER! Add the clusterphuk parking fiasco out front and the fact that they don’t do call ahead seating or take reservations and yeah… next time we’ll be traveling the extra mile and paying the extra buck to go to Lucille’s. That or, slapping our own rack on the grill.

My mom frequents this place. I came here on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. First, I have to comment Famous Dave’s has excellent customer service. We had to wait 20 minutes to get a table, but only because the restaurant has a popular following. Famous Kaylee was on top of everything. The food runner did not bring my mom’s additional side of beans, and I don’t know who dropped the ball on that, but Famous Kaylee immediately got us the side of beans after my mom raised the problem. The manager, Famous Leo, checked on us immediately after we finished eating. P. S., I love how everyone is Famous so and so at this restaurant. I had the St Louis ribs n meat combo with beef brisket, an additional meat side of hot link, sweet corn, and garlic mashed red potatoes. The ribs were tender and somewhat smokey, but relatively unremarkable. The Texas beef brisket tasted fantastic. It bursted with smokey flavor, and had a more tender consistency throughout than most briskets I’ve had. The hot link was flavorful and came with a side of mustard based spicy sauce, but the link loses points because it was not hot. Garlic mashed potatoes were outstanding, but the sweet corn tasted like any other I’ve had. I have ceratainly been to better barbecue restaurants, but I would definitely fine here again and this restaurant to other people.
