I will literally NEVER return to this location. My family ordered $ 300 worth of food for a party, when I came to pick it up the guy working the front counter had a horrible attitude. I asked for sauce considering it is BBQ and he tried giving me little cups for 20 lbs of meat and told me «it’s over there, you get it yourself»… The two in chino are 100 times better than this place… Sad I have been to this location twice because it’s close to home both bad experiences. I’d rather drive 30 min. To the other locations.

This location needs more workers! The poor employees were working their butts off and couldn’t keep up. No lids, dirty tables, out of sweet tea, out of ice cream cones … The list goes on. The poor girl working the cash register had to stop and empty the trash while the line waited. It’s clear by the employee attitudes, they are being stretched too thin! Shame on you management.

When we walked in we were greeted and the cashier was very friendly. We got 2 westerners, 2 fries, 2 drinks and 1 mac & cheese, $ 28. The price did not match the quality of food! The meat(chicken & pulled pork) were somewhat tender but the polish sausage was ice cold. Also, the cheese(which they just threw on the sandwiches) was hard around the edges and looked like it was old or sitting out all day. I told the cashier and she gladly brought me a few slices of fresher cheese. The Mac was bland and very chalky I ate 2 bites and didn’t want anymore. Although the food was unsatisfying, they have free ice cream which was appreciated.

Parking can be a little hectic during Lunch time. I like the turkey and the green beans. Free ice cream cones! I recommend ordering in advance if you’re not going to eat there. It can get busy. Friendly staff! They cater too!

They shredded my brisket without me asking! I guess they do this always, but I freaking hate shredded anything-just ask me if I wanted it that way and refused to exchange it for what I ordered very disappointed. Won’t hit this place again.

Soo! So today we had our company meeting, Dickeys was our choice for lunch. It was everyone’s first time eating there we were really anxious to see what all the hype was about. When our company Manager and Supervisor returned with what looked like kids meals, we were very disappointed on the flavor and dryness of the food. Not only it was everyone’s first time there, but it’s our last time there as well. Food was terrible! Case closed…

Summary: okay food/customer service at this location. Details: I tried Dickey’s BBQ pit for the first time at their Brea location and I loved their food! Service was great and food tasted fresh and delicious. I assumed going to one of their other locations the food would taste the same. I went about a month ago to this location(in rancho) and did not get the same experience as I did the first time I tried their food. The food(chicken) tasted like it had been sitting around under a hot lamp. The sides were okay, the temperature was the same as if they were under a hot lamp as well. We also were craving ice cream and we’re looking forward to having a cone. When we went to try to get ice cream, we weren’t able to get any ice cream out. We told one of the employees and they opened the ice cream container from the top, exposing how much was left. It looked like they needed to make more and like it had froze. The employee didn’t really seem to care. It was kind of a sorry, not sorry attitude.(I understand there is only so much they can do. But at least pretend to care and say something like I apologize for the inconvenience etc just provide better customer service) Maybe it was just an off day for them but unfortunately we Left this location feeling unsatisfied with our experience.

We love Dickeys. Before we had ever tried eating here, we were afraid of being disappointed and so we avoided it for a very long time. Boy, were we glad we did decide to try it one day. I can’t remember what exactly made us decide to finally try it, but we have been incredibly happy ever since. We happily give up Lucile’s BBQ for Dickeys. While we do enjoy Lucile’s, Dickeys is just more of our setting. From décor, to the laid back atmosphere, we are just way more comfortable here. Also, the free ice cream doesn’t hurt either. Or should I say, bottomless root beer floats. Best deal around: Buy gift cards from Costco. They sell them for a discount and paired with a mailer coupon or a text message coupon(make sure to sign up for text messaging deals!) it’s a deal that just can’t be beat. And sometimes, if you are lucky, you might find and even better discount on the Dickeys gift cards on . Good food, great deals. What’s more to love? Oh right! The food! The chopped brisket is amazing and far better than all the local competition in my opinion.(Yes, better than Famous Dave’s, which ALWAYS seems to be so dried out I can barely eat it… But that’s a review for a different restaurant!) The polish sausage is awesome too. Fries are always great and I don’t know what they did to the potato salad, but it’s much better than I remember in the past! Will have to remember to get that again next time! The okra is great too. Moral of the story; get gift cards from Costco, sign up for text coupons, and stock your cabinets with Big Yellow Cups

We came here since they offer kids eat free specials and free soft serve for dessert(so really just to make my son happy) My husband had the brisket, it was dry, nuff said. I went with a side of baked beans and a side of potato casserole, two BBQ sides I am usually in love with, both luke warm and lackluster to say the least. No really great flavors going on here, my son did like his kids meal and went back for soft serve twice, just nothing great for me here.

We received a Dickey’s $ 25 Gift Card at Christmas and finally decided to use it on Friday. My husband and I decided order from the Family Pack menu and went with the«Picnic Pack»(~$ 26) which includes our choice of 1 meat(1 lb), 2 medium sides, and 4 rolls. The prices are decent as it’s more«fast food» style. You order and pay first and they will bring your food out to you. We went with the Beef Brisket, Caesar salad, and Coleslaw. The yellow cups they give you are reusable and you can take them home. There was only one lady working and not only was she taking orders and acting as cashier, but she was also taking the food out to the tables. There was 6 people ahead of us in line and by the time it was our turn to order, she told us she would be right back. So we just stood there while she went around to drop off food. During dinner, I would think there would be a second person to help out. They have 3 different kinds of BBQ sauce to choose from: Original, Sweet, and Spicy. I just stuck to the Original sauce which is mostly vinegar based. I didn’t like the Sweet BBQ sauce(Pretty shocking, as I tend to favor sweet sauces.) I was picturing the beef brisket to come out in nice thin slices with a nice pink smoke ring on the edges. However, it came out finely CHOPPED in small pieces. The beef brisket was a tad dry and didn’t really have any smoke flavor at all. I just had to drench mine in BBQ sauce and ate it with my rolls. There’s an ice cream machine and it’s free if you purchase a meal. My husband has two smokers at home. He makes awesome pulled pork, pulled beef, beef brisket, salmon, ribs… you name it. So being spoiled at home by my husband’s cooking, we haven’t been to a BBQ restaurant in over 2 years. Overall, it was just okay. Stonefire Grill is a lot better in my opinion. At least THEIR brisket is still intact and not hacked to death. Check out @Rancho_Cucamonga_Eats on Instagram. 47⁄100 Reviews for 2015

The store isn’t really central, but it’s still just off of 4th Street. I came in with a coupon for a deal on their Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, which tasted all right. The sauce is a little thin for me, so I had to pour just a little more on. That being said, I experienced much better service here than I have at the local Dickey’s near me. The staff were really friendly and helpful despite closing up soon. And I guess that’s why there wasn’t any ice cream available, darn!

The BBQ slips from the bone! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile and«welcome to dickeys barbeque» The establishment is clean, music soothing fitting the décor, restrooms maintained, tables n chairs in order. The polish sausage is great and the mac deeeelish Pulled pork mouth watering and BBQ

I went here for lunch with some co-workers. They have a lunch special for every day of the week. Today(Wednesday) they had a sausage sandwich for a special. Plus you get two sides. Each side has a choice of: Barbecue Beans Creamy Coleslaw Potato Salad Baked Potato Casserole Caesar Salad Mac & Cheese Jalapeño Beans Green Beans with Bacon Chips Fried Okra Fried Onion Tanglers Waffle Iron Fries The food here was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The only reason why I took off a star was because of slow service. They must have been a little understaffed. When we first came in, the guy taking orders at the cash register was really slow. The lady ahead of us had a simple order. But it took a long time. I even noticed that the guy behind us left because he couldn’t wait. However, once our orders were in, it didn’t take any more than a few minutes for us to get our food. The tables were clean. There were some spills around the ice cream machine and barbeque sauce dispensers. But they were cleaned up pretty quickly. They have a free soft serve Vanilla Ice cream dispenser and crunch cones for the ice cream. I had some, and it was pretty good ice cream. I should also mention that they have thanksgiving meals. The biggest meal is around 110 dollars. But it looks like they give you the works for that price.

Took couple of our customers out to this place. Pros: 1) Very delicious food. We had their Pulled Pork & Chopped Brisket Westerner, Chicken and Pulled Pork Westerner, Chopped Beef Po Boy, Chopped Beef Big BBQ Sandwich, and a full rack of ribs. All items on the menu were good. 2) Portions are huge 3) Loved the smoke flavor in the restaurant. Cons: None I can think of.

It would seem a lot of ppl have a tendency to hate on Dickey’s, but I am not inclined to such things. So far this is the only location I have visited and I have enjoyed myself the couple times I was here this far. Dickey’s has the feel of a quick service Famous Dave’s. It is a BBQ place that offers beef brisket(Sliced and Texas Chopped), pulled pork, and chicken among other things. They have sandwiches, combo deals, and even family meals that can generally serve 4 – 6 individuals. They have a good selection of sides and decent pricing. When u enter here, the menu board is located on the wall to ur left. Once u have made ur decision(s), simply turn to your right and place ur order. They offer some BBQ sauces(my favorite is the Spicy), napkins, cutlery, and other condiments towards the left hand side of the restaurant just past the ordering counter. Look a little further to spot the tea and soda fountains section. I have tried the brisket(Sliced as well as the Chopped) and found both to have a fair amount of flavor. Most of the sides are winners– especially the fried okra which I just tried on my last visit… wow, didn’t think it would b that good but it was. Sandwiches are tasty and filling– I recently tried one of their new Cornbread Sandwiches; they offer either Spicy Chicken or Pulled Pork in a sandwich w/the buns made out of cornbread. I opted for the spicy chicken which tasted absolutely delicious; huge pieces of chicken and the cornbread buns were great. My only complaint was the cornbread bun(the top one) started crumbling while eating, but this was a minor inconvenience and I would definitely order this item again. Two things about Dickey’s: they’re beverages are served in these big plastic yet iconic Big Yellow Cups. They also have a help yourself soft serve vanilla ice cream counter towards the back of the restaurant. Sure they have cones, but the real fun is filling ur Big Yellow Cup w/root beer then adding some vanilla ice cream to make a tasty root beer float. Dickey’s offers various coupons, discounts, and offers through their email and text programs. U can receive a free Big Yellow Cup w/any purchase by joining either program(or both). This particular Dickey’s has a Unilocal check in offer for free ice cream… yeah…then u realize once ur there that the ice cream is free ANYWAY regardless of the check in offer which kinda makes that a little pointless. While not some of the best BBQ ever, Dickey’s does a terrific job for what it is. This location has ample space and seating, prompt service, and passibly clean restrooms. In the mood for some quick BBQ? Why not Dickey’s?
