This place doesn’t even deserve one star! First of all way overpriced for a MICROWAVED sandwich! Yes that’s right I was asking them how they warm their meats for their sandwiches and the employee working the register said they don’t grill anything! How disgusting! Don’t waste your money here! Your better off making yourself a sandwich at home

Quite possibly the best Reuben sandwich I have ever had! It’s well worth the price, and comes with a side which I chose potato salad and it was delicious. I loved that they had The Message on Sirius radio playing in there, I’m a huge fan of this place! I will definitely be back!

First time for Lunch I must say my Corn beef on Rye was outstanding. Amazing and kind service. They treat you like family and make sure that you are happy with your food. I will be bringing Lydia here for lunch.

I am an eater. Plain and simple. If you’re like me excellent food is a must. I have heard a wise saying, «the straightest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.» In the simplest, most grateful way possible, I would like to give a big thank you to Gandolfo’s. If you want the best experience in a sandwich shop on the West Coast, go to Gandolfo’s. Also a special shout out to King of Queens, pastrami has never tasted better!

First time here and I was not disappointed. Had the Dagwood and it was, hands down, the best I’ve had! The hero bread was a perfectly toasted and not too dense or too soft, like other sandwich shops. And talk about filling! Meat, upon meat, upon tasty meat. The condiments were perfectly layered and created a delicious sub like no other. I haven’t tried anything else but I highly recommend the Dagwood. Service was pleasant. I was warmly greeted and I did not wait long for my order.

I am obsessed with this place!!! Their food is by far better than any subway I’ve ever been too! I usually always get the Bridge Hampton. For 4 more bucks you get full sandwich and that is usually 2 meals for me. Not to mention their pasta salad is mouthwatering and delicious. You can tell everything here is fresh! Ask for Mike! He is awesome and will take care of you!

I usually love Gandolfos. But today I was sorely disappointed. I ordered the New York Giant. The meat was bland, the bread wasn’t toasted. I’m used to a higher standard of sandwich making here. I’ll give it one more try because today could have been an aberration.

The photo I’m posting is a picture of a sandwich I paid $ 8 for. I was under the impression that for $ 8 the half sandwich would come on the hero sized wheat bread, not this tiny bread. We got 2 other half sandwiches that were about double the size. The person I spoke to on the phone (it was a to go order) at Gandolfo’s was argumentative instead of helpful and explained that I am not listening… the sandwich has the same amount of «stuff inside». But it doesn’t, not by a long shot. I can see it right in front of me. I am perplexed by the lack of service and offended at the amount I spent on this pitiful half of sandwich. Will not be eating here any more.

The sandwiches are amazing, but their system is seriously flawed. At lunch there can be quite a line that mo es slower than molasses. Then you end up waiting even longer for your food. It is not uncommon for you to be here 30+ minutes for a to-go order! But as I said the food is excellent; however, the process is about at the point where it doesn’t even matter anymore.

Momma leone is a pizza on a sub. Nothing special but if u r in the mood for pizza this is very good. However, the must try is Urban Cowboy! Super yummy. The cream cheese bbq sauce mixture sounded gross to me but heck no its best sandwich by far ive ever had so try it!

Love this place. Please note this is not subway. People give negative reviews because this place doesn’t have stuff prepped and and lying around. They actually prepare the meat and sandwiches fresh which may require you to wait. I love these sandwiches. Very large portions. The prices are just right for what you get. A full sandwich is so much but I still eat it because it’s awesome.

I love this place when it comes to sandwiches. It’s pretty much the only I would go to unless otherwise.
I normally get the madison square garden. It may be a vegetarian sandwich but incredibly delicious. The godzilla is yummy for those who love sriracha. I buy that one whenever I crave for something spicy. I have yet to try other ones but I’m pretty particular as to what I like in my sandwiches. Their pickles are not salty and just the right amount of brine to it. It has a nice snap to it when you bite into it. Their sides are just as great as their sandwiches. Even the gelato is creamy and flavorful.
I want to give this place a 5 but I wish I could get more out of a wrap sandwich. Perhaps it’s just the size that makes it seem I’m getting less than if I were to get it as the usual.

This sandwich place is one of the best I have been to. Everything is so tasty, fresh and delicious! I have had a different variety of sandwiches and salads there and have yet to be disappointed in any of them. If you have not been here for Breakfast I would 100% recommend it! I have had «The Crew» and it is enough for two to share.
The Thriftys Ice Cream is a bonus too.
The only reason they have 4 stars is because service is pretty slow, I have waited a good amount of time for my food, and they get pretty busy.
I would also recommend they put their salad in a bigger container. The amount of salad is perfect, but they shove it in the smallest take out container and it is impossible to eat. Delicious though! And it can be somewhat pricey for a lunch place, but the quality of the food is totally worth the extra $ 4.

I love the sandwiches here and they would of gotten four stars from me but the service is lacking from the teens that they hire and my order the past few times has been wrong so make sure to check your order before you leave.
But other then that the sandwiches are delicious my favorite is the Brooklyn bridge.

WHY IN THE WORLD has it taken me so long to try this place !!! Unbelievable sandwich selection! Hot dogs! Salads! THRIFTY ice cream !!!
WOW !! I tried the Dagwood and BBQ Kettle Chips. I also texted PICKLE to 31 996 and got a free pickle when I showed the cashier my text. The restaurant was made up to show a «New York vibe» and was quite fun. It wasn’t too busy but had a steady stream of customers while I was there and it was quite apparent they were enjoying good food and conversation.
You can get a half sandwich and make it a whole for just $ 3.75 more. Another fun item on the menu was a selection of ice cream sandwiches made with Thrifty Ice Cream! YUM!
I can’t wait to go back and try more of their items.

This was a fun little place.
We sat by the window and met with my cousins here.
We got in before the crowd and our food arrived promptly.
We were seated right where the corner of the building is with a view of the corner.
The waitress, or probably the owner was exceptionally nice.
Our food was very fresh and we all had a great time.
Mom was just super cheerful of all the gifts that we had brought her for Easter. Awwwe… we celebrate Easter for the whole week… and then some. It’s all good.
