Every time I come here I never get disappointed! They have the best tasting lobster ever!!! The environment is so welcoming & just feels good overall. I’ve never had a bad experience so far. I bring my family for special occasions & it always ends up being everyone favorite. Food is always prompt & very delicious. I love this place!

Ordered the fish and chips, huge pieces of fried fish which was great! The batter was not too heavy, was done perfectly and tasted amazing, along with the fries which were also very tasty. The dipping sauce it came with was a perfect compliment to the fish. Great with a beer or two, dark porter or stout preferably. Customer service was on point, our server would check on us frequently. Great location located in a busy area, and lots of places to walk around after eating. Overall, great experience here.

Came here on a date and wanted to impress. The food and the atmosphere was amazing. What made it even better was our server, Erika. We took all of her recommendations and everything was amazing. The BBQ shrimp was our favorite, definitely get it! I was also trying oysters for the first time and Erika guided us through the different varieties and how to dress and eat them. What a great experience, love this place and will come back again. Hope to sit in Erika’s station next time we visit!

Although we made a reservation the wait time was still 30 minutesbut I love this restaurant and it was my choice for a birthday treat with some close friends. Saturday night. Dinner hour its a crap shoot. As always wonderful bread served immediately. cocktails…not much booz there… go for the beer. Dinners were excellent. I had two lobster tails with carrots and zucchini. Meal was delicious. Pals ate a grilled chicken plate said it was great. Steaks done perfectly. A sauce is called for there and while the mashed potatoes were good. at best unexciting.

After shopping around Victoria Gardens this has become my go to spot. One thing I have learned is to make reservations ahead of time. It tends to get really busy at the start of the weekend. Famous for their oysters, I like to explore other options on the menu. The yellowtail was flaky and the flesh was tender and buttery. Of course, this is also a fish house. The crab cakes were soft and flaky and accompanied by a bed of baby arugula with aioli dipping sauce. Could it get any better? Yes, a new item on the menu. Blackened shrimp taquitos. The shrimp was firm and tender, while the crumbles of cotija cheese added that kick of saltiness. I can’t say enough about the oysters, every single one I sampled tasted fresh out of the ocean. Overall another great experience. I forgot to mention the expanded outside patio with charging stations for your phone.

The food was good. Chicken sandwich my husband ordered looked and tasted good. Oysters and clams are great. Sad it could be a 5 star but service was terrible. Waiter did not attend to us. Slow for water and food ordered. MGR actually brought our drinks.

Stopped in to this Kings. We went in for a drink and appetizer’s. The service was fast and we got our drinks fast. Our food came out fairly quick. The food here is really good. We got the Shrimp and Crab cocktail and some soup. Both were good!!! Compared to the Kings in Anaheim, I would come to this location for good fish and service. The service is twice as fast and the food is good! This is a well run Kings and good staff. I have visited this Kings in the past and have always had good service. The place is always clean and well kept. The servers are always friendly and seem, to take care of you good!

The bar here is fantastic. Shh, don’t tell anyone though lest it get too crowded. One of several bartenders, Josiah took care of me and my son when we me a co-worker there who was raving about it. Josiah has a great personality, pleasant disposition, and takes great care of the bar patrons. Their oyster selection is on display and fantastic. Sushi was some of the freshest fish I have tasted around. Will be going back soon. Thanks Josiah for a great experience.

I definitely love this place. Their fish is of such a high quality. They use fresh fish and amazing cuts. They are thick and juicy and always cooked right. I have had the salmon and the halibut here as well as their oysters and some sushi, and everything has always been to my delight. I do not ever get the burgers here because I love seafood and I am at a Seafood restaurant, but my uncle and my cousin,(both men), got the burgers here and they were huge! They said they were really good and I will take their word on it. Their mashed potatoes and asparagus are great. I got the carrots last time and felt they were too hard for my taste. My grandma thought the same thing about her vegetables, so just note, their veggies are cooked a bit more al dente than one would expect. But mac n cheese and mashed potatoes are always a safe and yummy bet!

Second time here with boo this time we ordered the baked mussels, crab cakes, ahi poke, and a chilled seafood mix and lobster. Everything was okay I send the mussels back because they had this kind of unwashed dirty taste and was never offered to have the plate redone or substituted waitress just said«don’t worry» seafood mix was for two people but was really only enough for one. They do have a variety of other dishes so we might give it one more try.

Very nice hostess and the waitress was very kind knowledgeable about the menu and was happy assist you on choices on the menu. Tropical T is very good, The food was outstanding came out hot fresh great tasting fish, it wasn’t dry. Very nice atmosphere pleasant place to have a regular conversation without the loud noise of music blasting through the restaurant.

Ate dinner here on May 10 while on a road trip through SoCal. The food was great. The wife and I both had macadamia encrusted halibut with baked potato. One star off for the slow service. I was without anything to drink at a couple of points during the meal, which made the hot baked potato a little uncomfortable at one point during the meal.

Customer service is always a positive experience here. I really like the new linens — very seaside with the simple double blue stripes. We always order the Louis salad to share. Fair warning, even for two people, is extremely large. Shockingly large. Come hungry. Bread is always good and hot, and I love their clam chowder. Today we had the Kings sampler and split a fresh green salad. They will spilt all dishes for you, no additional cost. Great place, great atmosphere, great people.

Took my parents out here to make up for an anniversary dinner that went south a few weeks back. I’m so glad that we did! It was my first time and our waitress Diane was VERY helpful. She recommended the swordfish with the blackened seasoning, which of course I ordered. My parents ordered the shrimp and scallops, and also ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer. Our food came out pretty quick and it was hot and fresh… My meal came with a choice of two sides. I ordered the baked potato and grilled asparagus. The baked potato was good(hard to mess up a baked potato, really), and the asparagus was great! It had a parmesan seasoning and balsamic glaze… Really good stuff! Then, the main event; the swordfish. It was fantastic! Cooked just right… Juicy, and full of flavor. The blackened seasoning really pushed it over the top. Friendly wait staff, quick turn times and great food. I’ve found a new local place to enjoy on pay day! If you’re not a seafood fan, this place might change your mind!

I came here today with my bosses to celebrate my 10 year work anniversary. This is only the second time I’ve eaten here and the first time was over 5 years ago. I must say, not only is the food extraordinary but the customer service was incredible! For starters, I ordered a Caesar Salad and Calamari. I wasn’t a fan of the Caesar salad because of the Anchovy paste they use to make their dressing. It was incredibly fishy. However, the Calamari was delicious with the sweet chili dipping sauce! The complimentary bread they give is also amazing. So soft on the inside and with a little crunch on the outside. I’m not positive but it tasted like sourdough bread(which I love). For my entrée I ordered the Macadamia nut crusted wild Alaskan Halibut with Mac n Cheese and Mashed Potatoes as my sides. All I can say is WOW! All 3 were incredibly delicious! For dessert I received a complimentary Key Lime Pie since I was celebrating my work anniversary and it was so good! Really tart but in a good kind of way! If you like Key Lime Pie, it’s a must! Lastly, our waitress was fantastic and when the manager was told that I did not like my Caesar salad, she had it removed from our bill. I didn’t complain or anything but they stand by their food 100% so they want you to be happy with what you ordered. I thought that represented stellar customer service and I will most definitely be coming back again.

Diane was our servers name. Steve, the manager on duty. We had the best service from Diane — water always filled, plenty of bread(plus some to take home for grandma). What we ordered: 1. Grandma — Cup of Clam Chowder and Tilapia with rice and vegetables. She loved her meal. I think grandma loves her fish and rice. 2. BF — Bowl of Seafood Chowder(mmm. spicy and delicious, a nice change from Clam Chowder) and Ahi — Cajun seared with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. 3. Me — Miso Glazed Wild Salmon with«Forbidden Fried Rice» with pork belly and broccolini(or any side I wanted). Ended up not substituting anything and ate as is. It was a bit on the sweet side, but quite delicious. 4. Shared — Jumbo Castroville Artichoke, Grilled with basil vinaigrette marinade and served with pesto mayo dipping sauce. Totally delicious. I would recommend this appetizer, it’s definitely delicious and highly recommended. Bf’s ahi came with tendons(again) I think he just gets the special fish. However, the manager and Diane graciously comped and replaced his meal with the Halibut. The Halibut was totally delicious. The service alone was five stars alone, but I ended up with food poisoning for the rest of the week. I had the salmon — with the ‘fried’ rice and pork belly. I think it might have been the pork belly, it felt a bit underdone and the fat was soggy. =(I don’t think I can win with this place and I haven’t been really able to eat seafood since. Honestly, I can’t give anything higher than 1* for any place that gives me food poisoning. Plenty of parking — both free lots and a metered parking(read the signs! It’s 24-hour monitored). The location is right by Cheesecake factory, and across the street from the food court.
