Food was good. Service was HORRIBLE! The girl that took our order(Maura M) had a major attitude. Had lunch here yesterday with my daughter. Ordered two different bowls. The food was fine but had terrible service from Maura. We were pleasant. Not sure why she wasn’t. I wound up asking for a customer service number as we were leaving. A guy who barely spoke english handed me a menu and pointed to a number on back. Called to talk to someone there and a recorded message referred me to an email address to send a complaint to. Lunch for two came to $ 34. Not cheap. You’d think they might have a live person to speak with. All in all left a bad taste in my mouth. Don’t need to pay that kind of money for an attitude.

Dropped by for a quick bite between sales calls. It was very slow. Maybe a handful of the tables were occupied. I ordered the street carnitas tacos and some iced tea. The miniature street tacos were a disappointment. They had more cabbage than carnitas. The carnitas and tortillas were cold. The carnitas had no flavor… they were bland. The salsa was another underwhelming experience. I am pretty sure it was canned salsa like El Paso or something similar. There was nothing«street» about the tacos. On a positive note, the service was fast, courteous, and they have a lot of value priced options. However, I do not see myself visiting in the future.

So far so good. I like the menu and Maria on the register was really nice… I like the variety of the menu and my spicy chicken taco is AWESOME… very fresh veggies and that means a lot to me

This place is Fresh and consistent! I especially enjoy having their kale Kai salad with spicy fish. It is reasonably priced and comes with plenty of fish and avocado and your choice of dressing. Service is always quick too.

This review is based on 2 visits. Both visits the staff at the front register were disengaged and seemed bothered they had to work. My first visit I ordered the outer reef burrito. Wasn’t a fan. It was ridiculously bland. I decided to give it another try so today I ordered the salmon bowl. It was actually quite good! I really enjoyed the dish. It was a good size for the price(I paid $ 13 with a drink) and was seasoned well. I also loved the slaw. Yummy. Robert was really attentive and delivered my food as well as making sure everything was ok after my meal. Also they have a good selection of tea to choose from.

Good food, terrible service. I ordered shrimp tacos. I asked for a side of the green salsa they have. The girl looked at me weird and said it doesn’t come with the tacos. I told her thats fine i wanted a side of it. She was still baffled about the request and told me again that it doesnt come with the tacos. I said thats fine please give it to me on the side. She said okay, after running her mouth off in spanish to the kitchen. When I got my order, there was not a side of green salsa. I had to ask the girl who served me my food to get me a green salsa. It shouldn’t be this hard to ask for a side of green salsa. I have done it all the in the Orange County Wahoo’s and never had a problem. These people need to learn common sense in customer service.

Take out above average food quality. $ 9 for 2 fish tacos beans and brown rice. Ambience and crowd are below average compared to the surrounding eateries. Dine in experience might be different than take away.

This was my first experience at Wahoo’s today for lunch. I don’t understand all the great reviews. Everything I tasted was flavorless and dull. The girl who took our order, acted like she was doing us a favor by standing at the register to take our order. Do yourself a favor and drive another block to Rubio’s. Just a side note: I was contacted by the management 3 days after this review. In that email, I was told someone would send a $ 10.00 gift card, and would I please try them again, and update my review. It’s been over 2 weeks, and nothing. I can see where the bad service comes from. Management, when you make a promise, follow through! I wish there was a way to leave less stars, because I don’t believe they deserve even one. –10 stars.

First time ever trying Wahoo’s today on my lunch break. It looked cool so I was pretty excited… basically payed 8 bucks for a bland bean & rice burrito with 4 pieces of carne asada. The little meat I did have had no flavor. The service was good but food isn’t worth a second visit. I prefer Señor Baja down the street…

First time here, and I always ask whats the most popular so ofcourae I tried the fish tacos. The fish tacos was good the shrimp one was better. Next time ill try the citrus slaw. I got the regular cabbage, cilantro and pico de gallo. For sure taste the cajun beans. They have a nice spice. The burrito was really good my friend order it and wanted a taste. Service was great Emma was patient with me since I was asking so many questions. No complaints here. :) by the way eating here is guilt free. Try the teas they have(unsweeten) they have sugars in the side to sweeten it to your liking.

Been here a few times and I always get the Maui Steak bowl with white rice and black beans. The food is just okay and the service is usually just okay too. They have a nice selection of flavored Iced Teas! I’ll probably update my review once I’ve tried more items on their menu.

First off Wahoo’s Franchise is owned by my favorite band Blink-182 more specifically Travis Barker(my favorite member) I’m upset I didn’t go here earlier. Wahoo’s has a punk rock skate park atmosphere. It’s not a loud rowdy place it’s laid back and calm. The staff was helpful, efficient, and kind. The food was incredibly awesome. I really enjoyed their salsa, and juicy tacos. There ingredients were fresh and they gave generous portions. The chips and salsa are not complimentary when you eat there but it’s still really good though. There is just a variety of Mexican food favorites I ate there twice in one week. Soooooo Good. ENJOY! it’s great for the entire family.

I freaking love this place! The Baja chicken rolls are amazing! The tacos, also amazing! Filled with huge fish filet! And plenty of toppings and sauce! Same goes with everything else they have! From nachos, to burritos, everything is amazing! I came here twice over the weekend! The staff is always friendly, the décor is neat, and the Ariole sauce is bomb!!! Love it! Now build one in sacramento!!!

Still not able to give a full 5 stars even though Wahoo’s serves the best fish tacos and burritos I have ever eaten ANYWHERE! I just can’t justify $ 7 for a tiny burrito that has me craving for at least 2 more. I get the banzai burrito everytime, the mix of the asian veggies with the grilled fish, the rice, beans, it’s so darn good I could eat here everyday. The creamy cilantro dressing for their salad is also AMAZING and I get a side of it for my burrito. For some reason we are always the only ones dining here, i don’t know if the Rancho crowd prefers mainstream chains, there are way too many dining options in the area, or if it is just plain and simple the prices. Still, too too tasty, and super nice, fast service, as well as plenty of parking and very clean all around.
