Pizza was not very good. Ingredients are cheap. Try the pepperoni and see for yourself.

Been coming to Monaco’s since our old regular place closed down a year ago. Everyone greets me by name and knows my usual food and drink! Where else do you get treated like an individual? No where else for me! Monaco’s is my Italian version of «Cheers.»

We ordered pizza and jalapeño ravioli tonight from the website for delivery. The restaurant sends emails confirming receipt of the order and again when it goes out for delivery. It took 25 minutes for the delivery to arrive 5 minutes away. The pizza was not«well done» as ordered per the options on the website. The pizza was sub-par with way too much cheese, an excessive number of jalapeños and barely any olives. The ravioli was not bad, but nothing to remake about. We will not be ordering from here again. I can’t wait for Guidos to reopen when the owner returns from vacation.

This is a great place to find a seat on a Friday night. Not too packed, and very friendly staff. The garlic cheese bread was pretty good and you can’t go wrong with a pizza. The calzone was not pleasant. Very watery inside, kind of gross, actually. Stick with the pizza or pasta.

The food was alright. I liked my rigatoni but my wife’s pesto seemed like it was from a Knorr packet. On top of that. The waitress was abrupt with an attitude in the beginning(she mellowed as the time for the check approached). After she left the table(from taking our order), I commented to my wife«she’s not in Claremont, she’s a f$&#ing waitress at a place that serves pizza in Rancho Cucamonga, there’s no room for that attitude.» Add to that the abandoned moms on a Friday night with a table full of screaming kids, you quickly realize this is not the place for an intimate dinner for two.

Monacos seriously needs managment help. We sat for an hour on a monday night waiting for pizza. The place wasn’t even busy. The hostess should place the drink order. We sat for 9 minutes before anyone approached us for service. I felt bad for our server Joey who was doing an awesome job without the support of a prompt kitchen and absence of a bartender. I think to go orders are killing their dine in service. TWOYEARSAGO we stopped coming due to bad service and gave it a try tonight again. They did compensate us with a $ 10 gift card. Thanks. With lots of competition in the area customers really expect awesome service when dining out.

Went here on a date. Were relaxing and talking. Barely ate the pizza yet when the waiter comes and without saying anything clears our plates. Then takes our pizza. Comes back with the pizza boxed up and then the check. Offers us dessert as he drops the check and says«i guess i should have asked first» doesnt wait for an answer and walks away. Hey guy maybe first you should ask if were even done eating before taking our plates and boxing our food. Pizza was ok but service was bad enough that i wont be back.

My husband and I decided to try some place new and since we shop at sprouts we figured this would be a good option for us. I should have trusted the Unilocal reviews… We were seated in a timely manner… But they took forever to show up just to take our drink order. We get our drinks and order an appetizer(beer battered Mac n cheese) about ten min. Later we order my husband got the seafood pasta and I got the penne carbonara… Huge mistake… The seafood pasta smelled soooo fishy and old, the noodles were under cooked and the sauce was very watery… The penne carbonara smelled like burnt eggs and was basically scrambled eggs with ham and overcooked pasta… The fried Mac n cheese had a very bitter batter and the Mac n cheese was extremely salty even when you dipped it n ketchup… Overall it was a sad experience… Food tasted bad we didn’t even get a refill on our drinks and our server was in a really bad mood… Needless to say we will not be back…

My family and I have been ordering from Monaco’s for the last 3 years pretty regularly. We’ve mostly ordered pizza, which honestly is quite good. Most other things on the menu need some serious revamping, including the prices. However, the reason for my poor review is the absolutely AWFUL customer service I received from the owner tonight, who unfortunately inspired me to take my business elsewhere from now on. Our order took an hour and forty minutes to reach us(we live less than a mile away) on a Monday night. When I called to ask what had happened, no one could explain anything to me. So I asked to speak with the manager, and was given over to the owner. Long story short, he had no other explanation other than that they were really busy(which is understandable. But I was given no apology, and I was offered no compensation for having to wait over and hour and a half for a $ 70 order. He then sarcastically apologized when I called him on it, and proceeded to hang up on me. I own a small food establishment of my own, and if I were to treat my patrons that way, I’d be out of business in no time. Thanks Mr. Monaco, you won’t be seeing me or my family again.

Normally this is a great place to order food. Unfortunately it appears Monaco pizza is losing its service, and flavor. We ordered a pizza but when we called, the person who answered the phone was rude and difficult to understand. She placed us on hold for several minutes until someone else took our order. Then the pizza arrived cold, and the crust was hard, stale and the bottom was burned. We called to share our experience but it appears that Monaco’s could care less. Oh well!

Lunch special is a great deal. Everyday from 11am to 3pm you can order a variety of sandwiches, personal pizza with a drink, soup or salad for $ 7.50. The service is pretty spotty but the staff is friendly. They usually seem understaffed and it can take a while to get a table even if the place isn’t busy. The food quality is great. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh and delicious. I bet it would be a fun place to watch a sports game at the bar. The best thing I’ve had on the menu is the Stromboli. By far one of the best around. Super fresh and full of flavor. I would not order pizzas to go. They are a bit overpriced for what you get, but again the lunch special is the way to go!!!

TIP – The restaurant has 2 entrances, one for take out and the other for dine-in. Parking: Private lot next to Sprouts Restaurant: Very neat decorations with sit down bar inside. A few TV’s around so you can watch the game or ESPN. I felt the place was well decorated, the TV’s are present but do not overwhelm the inside. Food: Very good pizza with appetizers like wings and salad. I have had their food several times and have come to really appreciate their pizza. Overall: Delightful place to come for pizza or just take out, 4 stars.

WARNING!!! Crap service+ crap cold food+ a bigot owner is a perfect combo for this terrible pizza resturant in rancho!!! If a negative –5 star was a rating I wouldn’t give them that!!! The owner Rose Monacco is a freaking disaster!!! I paid $ 30.00 for a extra large pizza that arrived 1 hour late and cold. Mind you this is a holiday tradition for me and my family and it was totally ruined. Talk about the crappiest guest service ever she needs to be put out of business. Not only did I get ripped off I got called a lier and was told that«YOUR» people always do this. what a POS!!! This place is a crap hole with a shitty manager/owner running it. Hence the bad reviews that they already have for being a rip off!!!1

The food was pretty tasty but not very warm . Service could use a makeover ! They need much help in that department. Our server was nice, but seemed a little overwhelmed and not very attentive. Good food not so good service.

I met up with my Thelma and Louise buddy here on a Wednesday night, and I originally had pizza on my mind. However, the special was all you can eat spaghetti and breadstick dinner. Score! No way we could pass that up. Ordered the special along with some hot wings and house wine, and we were fat, happy, and still had change to spare. Service was fast and friendly. I’m definitely going to return for pizza, especially because they are conveniently located next to the Fillipi winery. No photos because I was too busy inhaling my dinner.

We love Monacos. I think they have some of the best pizza around. My husband also likes to have dinner on spaghetti Wednesdays. Today we had a bad experience and I was oh-so –disappointed. It made me sad. Seriously– boo boo face and all. We ordered a pizza for pick-up so it wouldn’t be hurried for delivery. When we brought it home it was undercooked; so much so that I had to call them. I’m not one to complain too often but it was $ 23 and I would have to finish cooking it myself. Now keep in mind I worked at Chuck E. Cheese and Bullwinkles(not known for outstanding pizza, I am aware) so I know undercooked pizza. I wasn’t exaggerating. I know this can happen so I am by no means judging them on this one experience. What I am judging on is the professionalism and eagerness to make things right. I spoke with the manager and he was super nice and apologetic and anxious to make amends. I am sitting for my 2 yr old grandson so going back in to exchange the pizza for a new one was not an option at this point. They are kind enough to deliver it to me. I’m awaiting delivery now so I will update later on.

Monaco’s is one of my new favorite places to eat when I’m visiting my parents in California. It might be the best value for lunch out of any place in recent memory. Their special is around $ 8 and you get an entrée(pasta, sandwich, personal pizza) a salad and a drink. The portions will surprise you at this price, so you will definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza. Monaco’s take on this classic is delicious, and one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the rancho area. The Italian sandwich is quite good, but I’d recommend ordering it without mustard. It isn’t bad if you’re really into mustard, but I’m just not used to having it on an Italian sandwich. Really changed the whole vibe I was hoping for. The salad that comes with lunch isn’t bad, but not the sort of thing I’d come back for on its own. I actually just got married last week and I had Monaco’s cater the rehearsal dinner. It was my first time trying their pasta. The baked ziti with meat sauce and chicken fettuccine were awesome and the breadsticks were nice and fluffy. Everyone enjoyed their meal and kept asking me where I got the food from, so I guess you could say it was a big hit. You can’t go wrong with a quick lunch from Monacos at a reasonable price. Try it soon!

Wow. If ZERO was an option, that’s exactly what this place would get from me. My husband drove there tonight after ordering a simple pepperoni pizza by phone. He arrived at the specified time only to have the employees behind the counter determine our simple pepperoni pizza had disappeared, most likely taken away by a delivery driver. It was a «shrug your shoulders» moment for the employees. NOAPOLOGY was offered, nothing. They just said they could remake the pizza. YAY! And WAITEVENLONGER !!! For some reason, my husband went ahead and let them make a new pizza and even ordered and paid for a salad on top of that. Still, NOAPOLOGY, no discount, NOTHING. NOTHING. It is now about 1 hour later and the delivery driver just dropped off our pizza. We will NEVER do business with this place AGAIN. NEVER. Its not even the best pizza in the area. Sal’s Pizza in Alta Loma or Petrilli’s Pizza in Upland are both a thousand times better and will continue to get our business. In the amount of time we have waited, my husband could have driven to Sal’s from Etiwanda and back and it would have been faster. VERY unhappy and HUNGRY former customers of Monaco’s. RIDICULOUS. Teach your employees that it pays to apologize!
