Came here for lunch and first thing I saw was a huge green B– shit. Bs and sushi really don’t belong in the same sentence. Anywho I was starving and sushi was on my mind so I gave it a go. My group was greeted quickly — all guys working — not really sociable but quick. I ordered the lunch special– 2 special rolls and miso soup and salad for $ 15! Not bad. I ordered the 911 and hot and hot roll and both were good. I tasted my friends Philadelphia roll and probably one of my favorite ones so far! I will definitely be coming back– just hoping to get that rating up– for peace of mind.

Love coming here for all you can eat! Sitting at tables is good but the bar service is way better because the chefs will hook you up. Chef Martin is hilarious and the other staff is nice. Side note– they play good music. I’ve been here a few times and it’s been really busy but the food is so good it’s worth coming here. This is my fav sushi spot, highly recommend.

Worst service ever! Sever was rude. I ordered spicy tempura roll and got another roll that wasn’t what I ordered. I told her that’s wasn’t mine and she told its was it. I said fine I’ll keep. Check came they tried to charge for a salad and they applied 18% gratuity tip when the service was horrible. I asked her where this was posted since I had not seen it out in the front waiting area. When my change came back when I paid with a large bill I was missing a $ 10 bill. I waived her back telling I was missing change money. she said she would go check. I watched go to the register and took the $ 10 bill out of the register. When she came back she said the bill fell on the floor. Which was lie! Will not be back.

Service was terrible. Food was okay, but the service is what made the experience not so pleasant. Wouldn’t recommend. Try sushi martini!

The service was good. They were sweet and attentive when we asked for help. The food was not impressive. Sometimes, more is not better. There was too much rice with the sushi. I had to request less rice. The avocado was also too thick. We had to shave some of it. I tried one of their rolls that had deep fried fish. I thought that was better than their fresh sushi.

We were a party of 6 and they also added the 18% tip to our bill. We asked if they could remove it since the service was bad. We were waiting for them to take our order for 20 minutes. After ordering, we waited for our food for another 20 minutes. After eating our first round of all you can eat, it took them another 20 minutes to bring out the next round and we had to call their attention. After getting the bill, we asked if they could remove the tip since the service was bad. The server then acted out and said that«well then you guys shouldn’t come back if the service was bad». So we were all thrown off and we didn’t leave any tip. We just wanted the tip to be optional in the bill, but we never said that we’re not leaving any. Manager never even came up to apologize or explain or anything. Rude staff. Worst customer service ever.

We came in at around 8pm on a Saturday night for AYCE. It was a little slow to get us seating even though we saw a couple of open tables and we were next in line. Once we got started ordering, things began picking up. Our waitress was nice and attentive, and our food came out pretty fast. The fish was fresh and tasted really good. I think I can put this place at one of my favorite top sushi restaurants. We don’t live in the area at all and it will definitely be long drive to get here for us, but if ever we are in the area again, we won’t mind coming back!

Food was mediocre and they charged an 18% gratuity for parties over 6! Very disappointed in the service. I have eaten there in the past and the service was great. Maybe they are under new management.

Upset! The food was subpar, it was halfway impossible to get a servers attention. We had a party of 7 and when we got our bill we found out that they automatically charged us an 18% gratuity. What? It wasn’t posted; anywhere. As we proceeded to check out we tried splitting the check and the woman refused. So we continued to pay for it just to get out of there, as we were walking out she stopped us and tried to accuse us of not paying for one of the meals when we paid well over what was owed. 18% to be exact. Extremely disappointed. Won’t be coming back especially while we have Miyagi’s down the street.

The roll I ordered was the scallop roll, and the scallops were soooo over cooked! And tiny so it’s like how do you over cook them? :(the front desk lady was kinda rude like she was in a bad mood, the rest of the staff seemed on edge, rolls were expensive for how not good they were. Had a B in the window for major and minor offenses? Table was kinda grimy I had to wipe it with one of my baby wipes. Bleh. Won’t be coming back.

So the Four star is simply because of the menu change… 5 stars as always for service. our waiter john(buff Asian guy with cool hair) has been our waiter for a while now I’d say a couple years. He informed us of a new change in management and that today was the first day of the new menu. John was simply prompt on our services a always, I alwAys had a hot sake, and cold kirin. And plenty of wasabi. The new menu is ok. It all tasted really fresh! However some of my favorite rolls are missing. And won’t be coming back. But Me and the wife will always be loyal customers because we appreciate good service. Honestly if weren’t for john and his humble and friendly personality, we could do without saki 2mes new menu. We will be back. Maybe the rolls will too. Julie, whitehouse, youngboy *** Sooo I had to change my 4 star rating to a one after today’s visit. Me and the wife went back today unfortunately our waiter john was not working(not sure if he’s still there). But if you are like me and the wife, you look forward to hot saki with your sushi! But they were out of Hot Saki!(And Pepsi) service was slow, and took them forever to take our Ayce page, and kept forgetting to give us things we would order on the list. plus they no longer bring out edamame or the sushi taco automatically on the house. You now have to order it. Or if your not doing Ayce you have to pay for it. They were very apologetic about not having saki, and missing our items. However it’s just not the same since they changed management and menu. Unfortunately our favorite sushi spot for the past 4 years or more will no longer be our place to go… Also my wife said the women’s bathroom was disgusting the toilet paper rolls were on the floor. I’ll post a picture.

Went here for the lunch special per recommendation of a friend. 2-item combo was about 8.99 and 3 item combo was just a few dollars more. I opted to do the 2-item combo and went with the chicken teriyaki and sashimi sides. The bento box came with miso soup, which was mediocre to taste, nothing special about it really. Plus the soup was lukewarm! I wish it came out hot instead. The bento box itself was bad; literally just a scoop of rice, barely any chicken teriyaki and the sashi slices were sad and just sitting atop slivered jicamas. I was so sad at this bento lunch and the rice was super soggy. I guess you get what you pay for. Won’t be coming back to this place any time soon. Also, service was super slow considering there weren’t that many customers coming in during a week day.

Average food, incredibly slow service when there are only a maximum of 2 tables within the restaurant.

I like this place. We go here from time to time. Their lunch box is nice for around $ 10 – 11. They have an AYCE which is good however I do not like their rice to fish ratio. I love their spicy tuna and spicy albacore. Worth giving a try

Prices went up! We got our rolls before our drinks! My order wasn’t even correct. I always come here an I don’t know if it’s new owners/management but this night of service was a bummer.

Shaking my head. Closes at 10:00 pm, arrived at 8:40 pm from Norco, just to find out they locked their front doors? There were a few families dinning still, but we were a party of two and an hour was more than enough time for us to eat. Will not recommend this location to anybody, lol.

What happened to the quality? I never go to the ginger to cleanse my palette but I just emptied that out after the first round. The white tuna is gone. The mussels are drenched with sauce. The eel is full of fat and now remnants of bones? The specialty rolls are huge. Order and eat two of those and you won’t have any room for anything else which is a loss if you get ayce. I’m sad this place isn’t what it used to be. At least the staff is still great! But we won’t be back anytime soon.

This is the backup place to go when one stop sushi is having new hours. They get you very nicely here and offer a mini appetizer and the Edamame. Service is very prompt though again the base line of energy sushi place is their spin on the California roll. Almost every specialty roll starts off as a California roll and this place is no exception. They do offer other alternatives and those are what’s worth trying more. Their single cut fish or sashimi, to rice ratio is equal so you’ll feel like your filling up on the rice than the fish. Great place and presentation, with cheap sake and tap beer. Try it out, it’s not the worst nor is it extravagant.

Wow! So glad I stumbled upon this place. I came in alone for dinner on a Monday night. I was seated right away, and immediately was brought complimentary edamame. I ordered a beer, and was immediately brought a chilled glass for it and a free«taco» type appetizer. I ordered the dinner combo with 3 items: baked mussels, sashimi, and beef teriyaki. Right after I ordered, the sushi chef handed me a huge plate of… something delicious, and said it was on the house. I don’t know what it was, but it was DELICIOUS. I’m going to try to attach a photo of it to this review. Then, I was brought miso soup. Just when I was getting full(from all food that was given to me for free), my entrée arrived. It was huge! 5 baked mussels, 6 huge pieces of sashimi, a big portion of beef teriyaki, along with a bowl of rice and a salad with an orange slice. The food was excellent, and so was the service. At one point, I dropped a chopstick and within about 20 seconds, someone was handing me a new pair. If I lived in this area, this would be my spot. I’m only here for a week, but I’ll be returning!
