Best sushi ever. About 24 – 25 $ big hit on the wallet for the all you can eat worth every penny though. Always just stack myself with Sancho and eel rolls. Calamari. I’ve tried other places but this is by far the best sushi. Other places just don’t compare :/I sit in the bar area for all you can eat because it feels more closer and I’ve heard of bad stuff from those sitting on the tables for it. Makes sense though. Obviously you’ll get more attention by the bar. That’s what the purpose of the bar area is for lol. Sadly though the only turn off is it’s all you can eat but only from 11 or 1130 – 2PM I think. If they made it all day everyday I’m sure this place would make more $

Love this place. Right down the street from where I live. Sushi chef Martin does an amazing job. I recommend the calamari, Martin roll and basically any fresh roll.

Yum yum yum. Love this place. Only bad thing is it is crowded sometimes and the hostess doesn’t pay attention to new customers other than that the place is great funky and food is very good. Sushi is bomb

The sushi was great, but the service is pretty bad. We were seated at the sushi bar and didn’t get acknowledged for a while by the sushi makers. It took about 10 minutes to get service from the waitress.

Went here with my friend a month ago and it took them a while to acknowledge us during lunch time. Their rice is a little wetter than I’m used to but the fish is really fresh. We had two waiters and they kept coming to check up on us like a min after the other every 5−10ish minutes so maybe coordination would be nice cause we didn’t know who to order with and/or we had just put in a request like a min before the other waiter checked on us. At least they were attentive though so I appreciate that. It has a nice ambience inside and they have a cool looking display on the front wall. They have a small selection from what I’m used to for their AYCE but it’s a good selection. They don’t have the papers to white your order on so you order straight with your waiter. I want to come back to experience sitting at the sushi bar area

Not a huge fan of sushi, but this place hits the spot. I like raw vs. cooked and they have a good selection of raw fish and other random stuff to, quail egg shooter, which was pretty good. Good size place, bar too and tables. The atmosphere is chill and live the crazy decorations. Out of all the places I’ve been to in the area, this is the spot for sushi

Super gross! There was a hair in my food and they didn’t even care ! She charged me for the half that didn’t have a hair lol! Customer service is horrible as well! Sushi was not good at all! If a basic California roll is gross… I can only imagine the rest

We have been coming here for over 10 years and the food has always been amazing! My kids love coming here to see the fish but most of all love the Lasers. Their ponzu sauce is the best we have ever had and their menu has something for everyone. The calamari is amazing too.

Love it here. I always sit at the bar, so I’ve never experienced the slow service other Unilocalers are complaining about. Got my Mom, husband, and sister hooked on the Tako salad. It’s seriously delicious! No other sushi restaurant makes it… Believe me, I’ve asked around! They also make this cooked lobster dish that totally divine ;) Can’t wait to go back, and get my eat on!

Very interesting place to go eat Sushi. Well decorated. They keep it traditional in there, I hope you brush up on your Japanese. Heads up, it’s dark and red and orange in there. Very colorful and fun place to eat Great food.

The food here is wonderful! Ordered the Delux Sashimi, Super Sancho Roll, and some single sushi that was divine. My only trouble: the service. So, insanely, ludicrously, ridiculously SLOW. Sitting at the bar seems to be key here, so that is where I shall be.

How is it, I don’t know. Went for my daughter’s birthday and the place is split in two. The place has a divider separating rooms. Although one room had no tables, the second room was empty. Couldn’t sit a party of ten because they only use those tables on the weekend. Not sure about the food, but the owner makes to much money if he can afford to say no to a party of ten. Service sucks. My other daughter used to go there once or twice a week for a long time. She will never go back again. Sorry I even had to give them one star

I absolutely loved their lemon salmon roll, rainbow roll, and their spider roll! The waiter we had was polite and checked on us frequently. The place has a lot of room and is very dark(I like that). This is definitely my new favorite sushi!

When you first walk in to this place you’ll notice that the décor is quite … Unique. Very eclectic. It could be a little bit too much if you have sensitive eyes. But hey I’m not here to solely talk about the décor. Let’s talk about the food. They don’t really have a legit«menu» on their specials. Literally it’s just a piece of paper they hand out that someone hand wrote the specials on. Interesting… Service is slow… But it’s understandable when there’s usually only 2 – 3 servers. Price wise. Eh. It’s somewhat pricey depending on the portions or how they cut the sushi. I typically play it safe here. My usual order is spicy salmon roll, Philadelphia roll, crunch roll. Etc. Overall. It’s okay. Nothing special.

This is by far my favorite place eat sushi! The fish is always fresh, the rolls are super tasty and the ponzu sauce they have there is amazing! It’s different from every other ponzu sauce I’ve had at other places. I would love to give them 5 stars but the only thing lacking here is the customer service. I wish the waitresses were quicker and some tend to ignore their tables. Sit at the bar and you’ll be okay, sit at a table and you’ll wait forever. I always come back though because the sushi is that good!!!

I don’t even know where to begin. But I’ll start with the food. It was amazing, ordered the half pepper half regular sashimi salmon. I hear they even make their own ponzu sauce. Whatever they put in it, I could take the time and energy, and it was great. Now on to the topic of time and energy. I arrived promptly around 5:50 pm, and was seated right away and had my glass of water. After listening to a group of regulars giving me advice to try different items, I looked at my watch and realized 20 minutes passed and no one took my order yet. By the time I get my 1 order, 3 groups at the bar area have received at least 10 rolls ahead of just my one. I hesitate to say it is because they were white, and I being a colored person, was simply waiting at the back of the bus. I place my second order at 6:35, and after another glorious 30 minutes, my chef Able turns to me and asks me, «Sir, did you order anything else?» Can you guess what I did? Yep, put a smile on my face, kindly telling him that everything was fine and that I’ll just take my check. Nearly an hour long dinner service where I spent 55 minutes waiting. But hey, if you want really good quality sushi this is the place. But if you don’t have an hour or two to kill, or don’t hail from an Anglo-Saxon heritage, there are much better ways to kill your time after a long day at work. I came hungry, and left hungrier than before. But hey that pepper salmon is to die for, the thinly sliced crunchy onion pairs well with the ponzi and soy sauce.

I came here with my family and we ordered the baked lobster and shrimp rolls which where delicious. We also had the spicy tuna rolls which where pretty spicy and had a good taste to them. All the food we ordered was presentable and delicious. The customer service could use a make over. Even though the waitress did her job in serving us and bringing us what we needed, I couldn’t help but feel like she was tired of being there and had little patience for newbies.

Let’s be real: I found Satsuma Sushi way too late — which is probably a good thing for my diet. Where do I start? Appetizer: Fried calamari was absolutely amazing. It’s a much lighter batter than your standard deep-fried dish. The batter was flaky, crispy, very much like batters used in some of the dim sum dishes — with a Japanese flavor. Calamari also comes with ponzu sauce, great addition to this starter. Sushi — Pretty eclectic menu. Blue Fin Tuna, Toro, and a few other I’ve never heard of. I regret not trying them, but what better excuse to go back the next time I visit Rancho? Rolls — There are two rolls you need to know, love, embrace, and re-up when you’re done: 1) The Black Dragon Roll — California Roll with Shrimp Tempura & broiled eel on top. 2) Super Sancho Roll — Fried California Roll with Tuna, Salmon, & Albacore topped with baked scallop & shrimp. If you don’t like these, there’s something wrong with you. I’m not done. Crunchy Roll — California Roll topped with the same flaky, crunchy, crispy stuff they use to fried calamari — It’s a great roll. Very underrated like Jeff Daniels, or Pineapple Express, or Horchata, or the health benefits from a walking 30 minutes a day. Super nice staff, and the décor will keep you entertained for a very long time. AYCE Sushi for $ 21.95 — 11am until 2pm, everyday. I can’t wait to go back to Rancho Cucamonga.
