This is an update to my previous review – My toes are still fine, but my nails started chipping the next day – definitely docking for that. The workers were still really really nice – but I wanted my nails to last for more than a night of sleep is all. I’m a stay-at-home mom so it’s not like I’m using power tools or something – they shouldn’t have been chipping. They were completely destroyed within a week… had to re-paint my own nails.

(SEETHEPICTURE I UPLOADED) They suck! My hubby and I went in for a mani & pedi– the place was empty, so you’d think they’d be really nice and do a good job. They don’t trim your nails properly. I asked to have the callus remover and she seemed aggravated even though they happily charged me the $ 10 for it. She scrubbed me so hard that I kept pulling back– I had to ask her to stop. She left the soles of both of my feet red and even made my skin break and bleed! No apology, no additional attention to the cuts– she kept going like nothing had happened. It’s a cute place but they’re horrible. I think I may go in on a Saturday afternoon and cause some drama! — OMG and the total for us was $ 92 minus their silly 20% discount– I’d gladly pay with no discount for some descent service. HORRIBLE!

Wow what a big change in service… Went with my daughter and the employees were doing each others nails! They didn’t even bothered to ask me what type of pedicure I wanted! The lady that I normally go to apparently no longer works there, and they weren’t up to par with her designs so they attempted to replicate her work. Ugh just say u can’t do it instead of the sorry artwork. Super waste of my money! Major dissapointment… Back to lilys nails to see Michelle, way over priced for crappy service!

Serenity Nails is a beautiful new spa in Rancho Cucamonga– in a nondescript location, but as soon as you walk into the spa, it is a refreshing change to the run of the mill nail joint. It might be that it is new, so hopefully– the owners can keep it up– it’s beautiful inside with tile and faux suede chairs at the manicure table– and comfortable massage chairs when you are getting a pedicure. We went in as a group of 8– and the girls were so sweet! They gave us all a 20% discount and had dessert and wine or pink lemonade waiting. Very nice touch! :) They didn’t try to push extra services on you– or do a hard sell. I did appreciate too, that they take credit card, and don’t do the«only cash for tip» schpiel that alot of nail places will do. Although it’s a bit pricier than the run of the mill nail place, it’s clean– refreshing and totally worth the extra bit. I noticed that all the tools they used are sterilized in packages, and that they discuss their safety and equipment in their brochure. I got the Serenity Spa Pedicure– and it included the callus treatment, mask, and cucumber heel therapy. It was $ 40.00. The regular Spa Pedicure is $ 27.00– well worth it though. Oh, lastly– the colors that you can choose from are nicely organized on the wall when you walk in– and they have a great selection. Second to Amadaeus Spa in Pasadena, I love this place!(I only don’t go there anymore b/c of the price and distance) But i’ll be coming back to Serenity for sure. I’m not sure if the dessert thing was since we were in such a big group or if they do that all the time– so don’t quote me on the extras. :)
