Stein Mart

I will NEVER shop at steinmart again! I was given a gift from there without a receipt but with tags still attached. When I went to return it for store credit they refused to give me anything for the product because it was no longer a product in their system. So now I’m left with a gift I can’t use because they don’t keep a record of products in their inventory. Shame on them for not managing their company in a way that doesn’t turn away customers. They’ve completely lost this customer! The manager at the Rancho Cucamonga location is AWFUL!

My grandma loves this place i got her a nice umbrella that she loved from here for Christmas. Its like khols but for older people.

My first time there was not a good experience! Nice selection, but the sale prices don’t ring up and then they argue with you instead of honoring the posted prices. There was a rack with a 50% off bottoms only sign. They did not ring up at the register 50% off, I told the cashier about the sign and she said that was for jeans only. That is not what the sign stated, her response was the same. I then picked out a purse that was $ 19.99 and the sign stated $ 16.99 for all purses $ 19.99 — $ 24.99, it rang up at $ 19.99, I said this was on sale as well and she said no it’s $ 19.99. I had 2 pairs of shoes, 2 blouses, and a dress still to ring up. At this point I said no thanks on anything and walked out. Poor service and bait n switch pricing. Beware!

Steinmart is one of my favorite stores. There are a lot of styles to choose from and the prices are good. Definately necessary to spend time if you are looking for bargins. Lots of different racks that dont seem to be in any particular order. Seems like there is always some thing good on the sale racks. The suit and sportcoat section is limited but the accessories are in abundance. I like the fact that there are always new and different styles of shirts and ties. The mens shoe section is nice but limited. The store is a little beat up but who cares! A bargin is a bargin :)

I have to say, if I could give them a negative rating I would. I came during the 14 hr sale and saw an older white employee standing outside handing out coupons to people. I walked close to her and she turned the other way pretending to ignore me. She looked me straight in the eyes as I approached. I was pretty apalled that she is either a racist or just plain rude. It wasn’t like there was a ton of people entering the store. I was the only one for several minutes. I probably won’t shop here again.

I love stein mart it has work and casual. Everything is quality at low prices. Sales are great. Ive shopped every department.

The people in this store are extremely rude. A Visual Merchandiser Pam was the only person that greeted me and offered to assist me. During check out the cashier was very rude as well and did not mention the survey. I will never go to this store again.

You have to love the Stein Mart’s operation!
Where were they ten years ago? Did anyone shop here? No! They were a Florida based brand, with operations throughout the south. Now look at them.
Today, it seems we’re in Stein Marts once a week, and this one twice a year whenever we’re in Rancho. The store is clearly laid out and easy to follow. Parking outside is a breeze. And, the prices inside are typical Stein Marts — which means they’re very good!
So, sign up for the coupons and be put on their mailing list.

They did have a lot of home goods I’ll come here to shop for my Dad they had a lot

I spent an hour in this store. The two items I wanted to buy at 50% off rang up at full price. I tell them the sign on the rack said 50% off of ticket. The floor person walks back to the rack with me and says, oh that signs in the wrong place. So she removes the sign and walks away, no sorry no nothing!
I went to Ross and found what I want for less.

My husband and I both love Stein Mart! We always find high quality clothes and/​or housewares that you don’t see anywhere else. This weekend, I purchased three tops and a pair of capris and my husband found three shirts — all at about half the retail price. It’s a great place to find gift items, too.

We drive across the 210 to Steinmart about once a month. Gorgeous is a member of their «whatever» club and gets all kinds of discounts in the mail and online.
The men’s section is excellent and is far above Mervyn’s, Ross’ and Kohl’s RI. mentioned. I don’t buy suits here because all their stuff is mix and match, but their prices (with discounts) on shirts, ties, belts, sox, underwear and accessories are excellent.
They have a broad selection of golf apparel and informal shirts, including Hawaiian.
I can’t speak for Gorgeous, but I notice she always finds something that’s just right for her.

I like this store better now than I did a few years ago. There are getting on the ball with trendier brands I like such as Nine West, Kut from the Cloth (jeans), & Michael Kors clothing. I used to see things I like every few visits, but nowadays, I see something practically every time I come, which is every few weeks. The store is a pretty good size.
They have coupons quite often!
