Someone reported that this was an old shack. Do your research people. This was a stop for the railroad in the 50’s. It isn’t the SAME building. The name changed from Stevie Dee’s to Johnny O’s. It’s Stevie Dee’s son Johnny that runs it now. Same great menu, same great value.

Great place for breakfast. Food was excellent and service was on their game. Food came out in a reasonable time and coffee refills were plentiful. Would go here again. It is a smaller place so I could see parking and seating could be a problem on a busy day. Not really set up for large groups. Also the counter to eat at is right next to the tables so If you wanted to eat at the counter you would be constantly bumping into the people at the table behind you. Great prices

Now called Johnny O’s Café, not much to look at from the outside, but has A rating on window. Change of ownership happened about 3 months ago, and the tables still say Stevie Dees. Waitress said its the same food and menu. Kids ordered huge pancakes, hubby ordered the special Taco Tuesday… only 99¢ each! My club sandwich was huge!

The sign now gives this place a different name, and I’m told the décor has also recently changed, but breakfast was still ample, inexpensive and delicious. Outside still looks like a shack by the tracks, but it is spotless and comfortable inside. Warning: pancakes are huge.

Good home cooking breakfast, like mom or grandma use to make it. Good portions, won’t leave hungry. A staple in our community.

This place is way better than we were expecting! Super nice service, really good food, and for a great deal! The inside is much nicer than the outside so give it a chance ;)

good breakfast value, you won’t get gouged! this place gets really crowded sometimes and is understaffed. skip the tacos on taco-tuesday, they are really awful, sloppy, and unseasoned.

Great diner! I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. Came with an option of potatoes and other but I requested for veggies and they accommodated with no hesitation. Glad there is still a diner like this close to home. I actually like them better than Corky’s.

Had the breakfast special. It was de-lish and super affordable. Service was funny. They were on it with the coffee. The ambience is… well you should go in and see for yourself. I remember a good friend of mine and her biker husband and friends would go there for breakfast after party nights and I totally got that vibe.

I stopped by to get to get breakfast to go for my family it was 4 orders everything I ordered was actually in the bags which is a plus, the portions are big and the food is inexpensive… however it lacks flavor… add more salt or seasoning to you food and I will definitely be back if you start doing so!

I love this place! Johnny is the best cooking those special hamburguers. And nothing better when I walk in then a warm greeting from the waitresses Veronika and Denisse.

First time trying this out today. I ordered a sandwich which was pretty good. My nephew ordered a kids meal. Usually the kids meals are so small but this pancake was huge. My nephew was wearing a mickey mouse hat and they made his pancake mickey shape I thought that was super cute. The whole staff was very nice. They were friendly. It felt like a nice cozy spot. The train didn’t pass by so I wasn’t able to tell if having it next to the train tracks being a good or bad thing. I think the price is good and great portions. I will definitely go back.

We saw good reviews and always wanted to try this place. Breakfast was disappointing! The Country potatoes are horrible.

I’m a breakfast person but don’t particularly enjoy spending a lot of money first thing in the morning! This is one major reason I stop in at Stevie’s,($ 4.99) breakfast special is off the hook and coffe is less than a dollar! Don’t get discouraged by location or atmosphere.

1st time here. We were a little scared by the outside appearance but came in & felt right at home!!! VERY friendly staff! I wish I would have read reviews before I ordered. Portions are HUGE!!! They made they bacon perfect to like picky liking — extra crispy! Yummy! The food came out quick too. Would totally come back again & again ;) and our check was only $ 15 for 2 of us including drinks! Awesome ;)

Nice comfortable little gem my son and I found today. We love the old fashioned feel of the place and the food comes in big delicious portions. If we were from the area we would definitely be coming back. Oh and don’t worry about the occasional loud rumble, the train passes right by the place but I promise it won’t go through it even though it may sound like it

Love this quaint little diner hidden treasure that I’ve passed several times on my way to work. It’s right next to the train tracks, usually that would steer me in the other direction. Strangely since it’s just the Metrolink that usually passes by I thought the tiny rattling and horn were quite soothing. But with all these great reviews, I had to see for myself. $ 3.89 breakfast special for the early birds is a must: potato sliced hash with green bell peppers, eggs, bacon or sausage, and the mouth watering biscuits & gravy(very generous portions) ! Nothing like starting off the day with a wholesome meal with morning news on the tube. The service was great. The décor is filled with vinyl records and photos of historic celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and Jimmy Dean.

Went here for brunch on a Saturday and the food was great. Got bacon, potatoes, eggs & biscuits and gravy all for $ 4! The waitresses were all great and very accommodating. 3 of us ate for a whopping $ 13. The lunch menu looks absolutely fantastic. We will, for sure, be back!

If you’re looking for a good place to eat. I highly recommend this place. It’s a mom and pops hidden treasure. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The prices are great. If your looking for a delicious burger, ask for the Johhny-O burger. It’s not on the menu. You won’t regret it.
