Los Jalapenos

I come to this spot often. The food is authentic here. I usually order a large burrito. They certainly do not skimp on the meat. Come here for some delicious, inexpensive Mexican food! :)

I love this place but they do not sell potato tacos (I’m a vegetarian) but the Los Jalapeños just down the street does. Either way, this place has good eats.

Pretty much everything is good there. This is my favorite local burrito spot although the tacos are too. It helps to speak Spanish (which I don’t) but it helps.

Terrible rude customer service. Supposedly they ran out of cilantro. I’ve been going here for years and service has gone down hill. My California burrito was three extra large handfuls of French fries to half a handful of Carne asada. It’s the only authentic fast food in the area that I know of so I’m gonna start looking for a new place. They close at nine but everything is put away and chairs are up by 830pm.

I’ve been going to this place that my friend recommended for a couple of weeks now, and I tried the California burrito and it’s delicious, one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Los Jalapeños is definitely the place for burritos or any other Mexican food, it’s amazing!

I ordered lunch from here with a coworker over the phone so as to not waste time. When we arrived at the restaurant it was very crowded which is usually a good sign. The cashier was a bit slow and she didn’t pay much attention to what we were telling her about our two separate orders. She also spoke to other customers in Spanish while waiting on us. The food was just okay. Not much flavor. Next time my coworkers go there for lunch I’ll set out.

Wow. I went here and they had the best burritos. Lots of meat. It’s enough for 2 meals. It’s set up for mostly to go. The line moves fast. The food is freshly made and the prices are great.

Horrible service!!! I ordered a bean, rice & cheese burrito NO salsa. The lady started to put salsa, I told her NO salsa she then got upset emptied the contents of the burrito in the trash can & tried to refill the tortilla again!!! I told her I wanted a new tortilla & she got even MORE upset! They just lost a loyal customer. Oh, and check the condiments the onions were spoiled and smelled rotten, I told the cashier she agreed and switched them out for a new batch.

Giving this place 4 stars because I haven’t physically been there, just had food brought to me, so not quite sure how the place is inside.
However the taste is 5 stars hands down! The breakfast burritos are delicious! (Chorizo and machaca) The burritos are Huge and the tortas and very delicious also! Will definitely be ordering from here often! And everything is so cheap! $ 3.50 for breakfast burritos, can’t beat that!

Ok, so for a long time I been wanting to try this place, I finally stop today, my wife and 3 kids, we go in there is no sitting, about 4 stools all taken, so we decide to take it to go, place smells like burn grease, we get in line to order, older main lady has an attitude, she is very rude, like im bothering her at her own house. Now the food quality is low, selection and prices are good but not any better than any albertos, may be even lower, I order milanesa, chile relleno, fish tacos, regular tacos, and wet burrito, the fryer seem to be under tempeture so that makes food be extra greasy, meat is low quality.
Do not recomend, stay away, good selection, good prices, low quality, really bad attitude, *RUDE*
to the owner– this was Saturday 11−28−15 at 5pm, I did not even get a receipt after paying cash, she was rude with multiple customers.

I love the tortas and carne asada burritos, they re always clean n fast with your order.

The first time I went to this place I enjoyed it so much they make the food right in front of you and it’s very quick you’re in and out of that place within minutes and their food is very delicious

I’ve been going to this place for years. Its right around the corner from where I live. Many people have commented this place is the «hole in the wall» & I agree. They have a small lobby and the food should be made/​ordered to-​go; they have as small counter, unfortunately, you get in the way of other customers if you try to eat on the counter.
I ordered the 3 taco special $ 6 (tacos, beans and rice) and its equivalent to street tacos; the meat was Al Pastor (like Mexican bbq flavor).
The best part of the experience is the salsa bar; they have a green salsa that is avocado based and it taste great with cilantro & onions; a little squeeze of lemon and the tacos are good to go.
4 stars because there was a line and they did not keep the order of the customers — I know there are some things out of their control but, it was not 1^st come 1^st serve. I thought it was not fair but I don’t speak spanish so I had no say.

One of the better Mexican spots in the area. The food comes out quickly, assembly line style, and there’s a great medley of sauces at the salsa bar. The burrito media might be enough to fill most people up, but go for the large if you’re feelin’ extra hungry. Prices are good too!

Love the burritos here, very well priced and flavorful meats. I especially like the Cabeza, Lengua and Carne Asada here. I work about 2 miles away so this is super convenient. The service is a bit slow and the ladies don’t speak English too well but thats a sign of good Mexican foods.

Closest to real Mexican food around the area.
Seems understaffed and employees over worked.
Might be a reason for somewhat the attitude given.
What bugged me the most is that 3 guest received there food first when I had order before them.
Cleanliness can be improved.
Maybe I went in a bad day. Will probably give it one more try if all other restaurants are close.

I eat here all the time, breakfast & lunch mostly (its right across the street from my work). I love the breakfast burritos and the light green salsa SOBOMB! Tacos usually for lunch, and I have no complaints the chicken was moist and the added items were fresh as well. I’m a bit shocked at the comments regarding customer service when mosts start by saying «hole in the wall». Would you expect perfect service from motel 6? not to say thats a fair comparison but you get the point. If your not into hole in the wall Mexican food then this is not ur spot but if you want a great cheap quick meal this is def a great spot.
Bit of advise to anyone that wants great service try saying Hello, How are you? in their language first then order your much important hole in the wall but upscale experience mexican food.

The cook’s comfort is more important than yours. And she let’s you know with an attitude and a smile. Read on.
Here’s what happened. I was returning from a doc’s appointment and had a sudden urge for some tacos. I was thinking about those crappy but inexplicable urge for Jack N the Box tacos, but remembered that there is a small hole in the wall taco place right by Jack. So having not read a single review about this place which is not normal for me, I ventured in.
The place is so poorly lit, I had reservations opening the door. But nevertheless I walked in. No one there to greet me so I had to say hello in a loud voice to get someone’s attention. the cook came out and asked me what I wanted. I ordered the 4 taco + drink combo. So she went on her business cooking my order and I sat down at the very dirty counter by the window. I went to the other side and it was just as dirty.
So while I was waiting, I was getting cold. The overhead fan was on at the highest setting and since the fan is so low, you really feel it. I asked the woman cook if she could turn it down and she said «No». I said but I’m cold because the fan is so strong. She shrugged her shoulder and said «It’s hot back here» and a few seconds later handed me my food.
I ate quickly b/​c I just wanted to eat and get the hell out of there.
I won’t comment too much about the food other than to say it was average.
Negative stars 4 for the crappy attitude and customer service by the lady cook and only 1 star for the lengua which wasn’t that bad.
Not returning and letting my friends in the area to avoid this place.

Alright, where do I begin.
Of course I know where, so this place a typical mom and pop shop, nothing to fancy as you walk in. You look to your left and you see the menu full of items. I mean full on menu; whatever you can think of that has to do with Mexican food is on there. Then you look to the front and you will see a lady or gentleman cooking, which to me is awesome to see, gives you a view of how clean they are. (I’m a stickler for cleanliness).
So I ordered myself the all meat burrito (carne asada– aka. Flank steak chopped up), and I was seriously hungry after working out and protein is excellent after a intense workout. (You need protein)
But, the meat fell short, it lacked flavor and tasted like it was from the previous day. So I only ate half of the burrito, because it was that bad where I could not finish it. I mean one good thing is, they pack the burrito to its limit, so you get your money’s worth.(bonus right). But now that I think about it, were they trying to get rid of the meat from the previous day (Hmm, just a theory)
Other than that, the staff were very friendly to me; from ordering to paying.
I didn’t bother complaining about my burrito, seeing how busy they were.
I possibly would go back, I mean everyone has an off day (right).
