Taco Hut

Wow has this place changed. It used to be a great place to go, but unfortunately no longer the case. I don’t know why so many of these restaurants that have a good thing going change things up to the point they drive away their loyal base. Oh well, there are tons of other options out there. Adiós

Delicious as always… Checked in with Unilocal and got 10% off my bill. Would of got 5 stars, but only one real waitress during lunch crush. That’s no bueno…

Pros: super friendly service. Place was busy, but servers will still attentive and super nice. Prices are fair. Food was up
Quick. Chips and salsa were good

Bottomless. Great margaritas!
Cons: food was okay. I had the cheese enchiladas. Red sauce was blah. Not impressed.
Bottom line: great service. So so food.

I love this location! We always get VANESSA as our server and she is amazing! Super friendly and fast! She even got me and my sister to try something new! The bean and chorizo dip! SOO YUMMY! I like that its mostly all females working and they are all the shizz!

Went last night with my family for our first time there for their «taco Tuesday» special. The food was great and the portions are huge! Everyone was very friendly and our waitress was awesome. Awesome food and awesome service!

I went to the store next tot he Autozone a month ago. It was the worst service I ever experienced. The waitress was rude, and avoided serving us. We entered 1^st. She said hi and walked past and served the couple after us. She still avoided us several times after. When I said something, the girl got an attitude with me. I asked for my check, who by the way we didn’t even order due to the idiots poor work habits. After I left I contacted another store and had them get a hold of a supervisor. You know, the supervisor response was «what do you want me to do about it?» Really? What has happened to customer service? There is a lot of people who want to work looking for jobs. And then there is idiots who don’t care. The sad thing is? These shops, restaurants etc are losing business due to idiot workers. Ho9w hard is it to train your people to do a job and do it with a polite mannerism? A note, I have been going to this store since 1983. The last incident was the last time I will ever step foot in any of the shops. The other store near Quake stadium is even worse with the girls working at night. They talk instead of serving customers. I have walked out of that store twice, due to sitting for ever while they talk about everything but service.. And I let the manager know back then.
This place lost all credibility with me.

This place is great. Very clean and the food is great! Portions are a good size and delicious. Service awesome, ask for Dee, she was great in recommending dishes. Our Molcajete was bomb.

Disgusting food. If you like generic Mexican food eat here, their tacos are a shame. Ewww the meat is all chewy no matter how many chips and salsa they feed you. Never will I go back, go to senior baja. Way better, the cooks should be ashamed of the food they serve. If they are Mexican cooks they better think of their mothers being disappointed. I’m Mexican I go on Unilocal to find places sometimes when I just want a good taco, change your name to taco not.

The Gringo taco at $ 3 were da bomb. And The grilled fish tacos were very moist and delisted. As always we’ll be back next Tuesday

Good food and great service. Like the setup on the inside and they have great atmosphere with the TV’s and bar. Nice waitress

The service is amazing! Very attentive and nice. I felt very welcome here. I was not impressed with the taco plate. The chicken was way too salty. I almost couldn’t finish the taco. The shredded beef one was nothing special. The rice was good but the beans were dry. I probably won’t be back.

Nice clean place. Had the carne asada & bean burrito. So delicious! Coming back for sure! The service is good too.

I kept hearing from my husband that the men in the office go here all the time and it’s the best place. Yeah yeah. I’ve heard that before. My standards are quite a bit higher than others, so I don’t listen. We happened to be out running errands one night and as we were speeding by on Foothill, my hubby suggests we go check it out. Just to shut him up, I agreed and we hooked a u turn and came in.
Cute and clean little place. I have to say, the young lady who greeted us and also served us was just the nicest, friendliest person. Best service here! I ordered the chimichanga and my hubby ordered some kind of big burrito. We were very impressed by the hot, delicious food on our plates. Just excellent. The guacamole is SO DELICIOUS. Our server kept coming by with more chip and drink refills. She never once stopped to stand still, as she was buzzing from one table to another working like a slave. We never had to ask for anything because we were being pampered like royalty.
We enjoyed our trip here and left feeling very happy. Went back again the next weekend and once again had a very good dinner. I tried the taquitos and a burrito that was excellent.
Thank you for the absolutely most delicious food and the very best service. It’s nice to have a server come up to us and make us feel welcomed and like we are appreciated.

Best Menudo I’ve ever had at a restaurant bar NONE!!! Fresh tortillas spicy red chili sauce, soft hominy, tasty tripe, and really really good beef leg! A must have!!!

I have to be honest. We stopped going to the other Taco Hut on Rochester cuz the service got soooo bad. Love the food and the wait staff but the wait time and orders going wrong was enough. And we were regulars.
That being said, we were craving Mexican and cruised past this OG restaurant and decided to give it a try. Friday evening about 6. Good prompt service. Wrote down our order so it was correct. Food was great. Loved the experience.

To a hit has great food. No doubt about it. My 2 stars is for the amount of time to takes for you to receive your food. I haven’t returned in quite some time due to the fact that they are understaffed. It just takes too long for your food to arrive. Even when there are only two or three other families ahead of us, the turn around time to receive your food is too long. If they could improve on getting the food out faster, I’d return.

Few doors down from Autozone, I stopped in because it was conveniently located and they accept credit cards. I was too hungry to get cash from the bank and though I would go to Alberto’s fast food in a pinch, the one across the street had really bad reviews.
Since it was around 5pm it wasn’t super busy and I was told to sit anywhere I wanted. It was pretty cool and relaxed atmosphere. Food was good, and service was excellent. Jessica was my server and I never had to wait for anything except for the food to be made. I literally put my finished drink down when she grabbed it and got a quick refill. Very attentive and asked frequently if I needed anything.
Nice experience, would recommend and will comeback.

So we came to spend a Amazon Local coupon. Woww I got some good grub for my buck! The service was good, the girl that served us was really attentive and pleasant. My wife. Got the Caldo de red. Translation beef soup a staple in Mexican culture.
My coupon entitled me to $ 22 dollars of goodies. The sampler platter I got had Quesadillas, taquitos, nachos for a small family full to the rim with shredded meat. Plusss these two small sliders with BBQ pork awesome, a okay!
Overall our experience was up to. Par with quality of service and food.
