Tam’s 36

After the food was serve, took 20 mins to make a shake. But other then that the food was good.

Thus far I have loved everything they make! Always fresh and delicious!
Their shakes are very good but very filling a big. I love their burgers but my favorite is their fries. I feel like it’s so hard to find a great place with some amazing fries, not those disgusting skinny salty ones at regular fast food. Also, their zucchini fries are great, and their menudo is as well, just wish it had more hominy.

Horrible service and disgusting food. I have been there once and my chicken was so dry and had little to no flavor. I will not be going there again.

I LOVE their breakfast burritos. They are large and taste great. There is a good proportion of meat and cheese, and they wrap it so well that I don’t spill it on my clothing. One star is docked because the drive thru takes forever.

For breakfast the chorizo and egg burrito is my favorite. For an inexpensive dinner I order the burgers after 4pm for $ 2.49. Nice people no problems.

Looking for a last min fill me up, this would be a good spot to do that. Burgers are pretty good, fast service. Would give it another go if in a hurry to get food.

Everything here is from just decent to really good. I find that someone from our family of four is often craving SOMETHING from Tam’s, weather it be breakfast, lunch or dinner food options.
The breakfast burritos are the bomb. Very well portioned, great flavor and decent price. The French toast is yummy and a good amount for one serving. The breakfast plate with eggs bacon or sausage is really good. We enjoy the burgers… The California Burger to be specific. It’s heavenly. The chicken tenders/​strips are good too.
Like. This place’s biggest downfall is presentation. It’s a lil run down. In addition it might take a few minutes to get your food. But it’s Tam’s. You’re not getting McDonald’s food (pre made/​heat lamp). So I don’t really mind the wait. And the customer service seems just fine. Nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. They’re working hard in there. Take a second and pay attention next time while you wait for your food!
Overall. 5 stars with no major negative issues. It’s good food, lil uniques from your traditional fast food places & its inexpensive.

Excellent good ol’ fashioned char burgers and chili cheese fries (gettem crispy). The Ortega Burger with cheese was especially tasty. I’m hooked and must get another soon!

Food is decent and relatively cheap, but to be honest, the workers are rude if you aren’t Mexican.

Food is good, would have gave 5 stars if the drive threw didnt suck and take so long.

I have not had a bad experience here. The service is always great. The food is always good. The Mexican food they serve is surprisingly on point. I’ve explored the menu numerous times and have not been disappointed.

How did I miss this gem right across from Legends?!? I have never seen portions so big, French fries so seasoned and chili cheese fries with so much flavor (and spice). Do yourself a favor and get one of their amazing avocado or colossal burgers! If you are really hungry, their dinners could feed 2 – 3 people, they are so big and include French fries, onion rings and fried zucchini … In addition to a giant house salad! This is going to be a new regular stop for my family. There is something for everyone at Tam’s.

My brother introduced me to Tams when he shared his chicken tenders with me; I was hooked. I probably would have continued to drive right past it.
Chicken tenders have good light flavor and very juicy inside. I requested onion rings instead of fries and the portion was HUGE! This is Definitely a meal for two.
Drive thru was pretty slow but my food was hot.

The large chili cheese pastrami fries were amazing as f_​ck. I got full only eating half the meal. This is defiantly a good spot for a moms and pops restaurant.

Been here a couple times, both times service was excellent, food great, had the eggs and sausage the first time, second time had the chorizo plate, both times were very good, the one thing that surprised me was the check, less than $ 20 for 2! Very good including coffee! We will be back!
Rice and beans were also good. They have a condiment bar and napkin dispenser at your table. Always cool!

Listen, if you’re on the corner of Baseline and Carnelian in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and you stop at that embarassment of a restaurant «McDonalds» literally OPPOSING Tam’s 36 (Tam’s Burgers), then you have made a grave mistake and will pay for it in time spent at the porcelain throne in your home.
In short, Tams is UNBEATABLE. Fresh pico de gallo for your burritos, tacos, taquitos, and burgers. Ingredients you can taste the love, freshly prepared care in. REAL food made by hands that enjoy cooking and serving the community. On a health binge? Check out their chicken salads, and other salad assortments. Plenty of items to choose from for every member of the Family, and believe me – Tams IS a FAMILY oriented restaurant. Every portion of every item on the menu (and there are well over 30 items to choose from; menudo, pita bread, chili cheese fries, bacon burgers, etc) is BEYOND worth what you pay for it.
Today, this day being only one of hundreds of times I’ve gone to this great establishment, I bought a Chorizo Burrito – 5.50 for half a pound of yummy, semi-​spicy chorizo slathered in refried beans, cheddar cheese, fresh cut cilantro, spanish rice, and a smile on my server’s face. The tortilla wrapped up this package of tastey sensuality so tightly, every bite I took went right into my mouth, and not all over my clothes.
That wasn’t short, I know. But every word counts with Tam’s 36. Don’t let that menacing golden arch next door sway you from the facts; Tam’s is a quality food stop, and once you try it, you’ll be back again and again.

So, I’ve considered myself a «regular» at Tams for the past 15ish years (give or take). All I can say, Tams is a very good deal for what you get. Over proportion and under priced. I love it! I’ve tried 90% of the menu at some point in time and I have yet to be disappointed. Granted there have been times over the course of 15ish years where my order may have gotten screwed up but I can count all those instances on 1 hand, not bad for 15 years.
I’ve seen A LOT of staff come and go, and quite honestly this set of fine people they have working for them currently are some of the nicest, which is why I’m shocked at some of the other reviews. Tams tends to get busy during 3:00 — 4:15 M-​F due to the high school next door and around 8:00 — 9:00 am Friday mornings because of the high school students hanging out before school. But other than that, anytime is a good time to go.
Now for the food review. Like is said earlier, Ive (almost) tried it all. And I haven’t been disappointed… yet. I’ve found my comfort zone with the green huevos rancheros and green chili burrito. Those are both VERY well made. Can’t go wrong with the hamburgers, as they are very delicious and they give you a HEALTHY serving of fries.
All in all, tams is a very delicious and fiscally reasonable food spot. Take it from me, I remember their grand opening lol

The breakfast burritos are huge!!! The tacos are delicious and absolutely love the chicken fingers meal! Just wish they had hot sauce.

There is nothing fancy about this place, just a average looking hamburger joint, but the food here has alway been consistent and delicious. I’ve been coming here for several yeas now and have tried many things. My favorite is probably the salads. They are big and have a lot going on inside. If your craving some comfort food they have a wide variety of that too! All delicious!!! If you dine inside they have deep fried peppers that are to die for, but if you drive through then you need to ask for them. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

I came here on my never ending Breakfast Burrito Tour this time with the Wife we each got a different burrito and shared half, went through the Drive Thru, short line moved rather quickly.
Breakfast Burrito — Bacon
Nice size Burrito filled with the usual Bacon. Eggs, Hash Browns and Cheese
Potato’s/Hash Browns needed MUCH more grill time but everything else was OK. 3-​Stars
Breakfast Burrito — Chorizo
Same size as other but filled with Chorizo, Eggs, Hash Browns and Cheese EXCEPT
this one had MUCH better cooked Hash Browns! 4-​Stars
AVG: 3.5-Stars but the lack of Consistency in your Hash Browns keeps me from bumping you to 4-​Stars…
