Per the neighboring business, this location is CLOSED as of Friday, 8⁄14. We learned the hard way. Don’t waste your gas!

Save ur time & money. Don’t go. I ordered a turkey sandwich. It was so salty, asked for avocado on it, they don’t have avocado, only avocado spread? How weird is that? They give foam bowls for water cups. When I went in the only people working were the two owners who were also yelling back and forth about their personal life. So unprofessional…& then after I told the lady 5 times I wanted light mayo, the owner frm the back still yelled to me all the way frm the kitchen«how u want ur sandwich»?

Had lunch there last week and absolutely loved it. The sandwiches were excellent and the cole slaw just as good if not better. Unfortunately it sounds like they will be closing down in the coming weeks and moving elsewhere. If you can make sure you stop by before they close down as its well worth it!

Found this place out of pure luck. I was on my way to study at the UOP Campus in Ontario and I was craving a sandwich. But I didn’t want a subway sandwich, so I Unilocaled the nearest sandwich shop and found this place. Drove over to find it hidden between other businesses in a business center. Walked in to find the place nearly empty. I walked up to the counter and ordered a pastrami dip. The gentleman that took my order was the owner and he was telling me they will be closing at the end of August. He said business has not been doing well due to its location. I was sad to hear this, especially after tasting the sandwich. The pastrami dip was overloaded with meet and served with a side of salad(I picked coleslaw) and its aju dip… OMG I’ve had my share of dip sandwiches, but this one had been one, if not the best I’ve ever had! It totally sucks that they won’t be around for long, but glad I had the pleasure to have one. The countdown is on… I have till August 31st to satisfy my pallet again with these delicious sandwiches.

Wow… How the heck have I never heard or been to this place before? Talk about a hole in the wall gem! I tried the pastrami dip and the beef dip! Both were amazing and only cost $ 6.39! Plus it came with a side of cole slaw or mac salad. I wanna go back tomorrow if I could! The dine-in is a little scuzzy but you can’t beat these sandwiches and the price!

Good potato salad good sandwich but when I went to fill up my soda all these Nat’s flewnoff the nozzles, disgusting, the Coke and Dr. Pepper did not taste right either. So my advice to you is to get the sandwich but skip the drinks.

Literally across the street from work. Started going here when it opened since it was convenient. Not too fancy but good sandwhiches. A bit pricey compared to Subway of course. Friendly staff. Quiet and not too busy.

In the IE, decided to finally try this place as it’d been on my radar for awhile. Other Unilocalers were spot on — the sandwiches here are great. The meat is sliced SO thin, and the bread is SO soft. Portions were decent, and were definitely more meat than bread. The staff was very friendly and had no problems with my picky, custom sandwich. Already recommended it to family in the area, and will visit again when we’re out that way.

Absolutely some of the best sandwiches you can get anywhere!!! Doug, the owner, hand makes each one to order, including freshly slicing the meat for each individual sandwich. They are STUFFED with meat. Never have to wait more than a couple minutes. Bread is soft, won’t cut your mouth up. Add in any of the great side dishes like Mac salad or potato salad and you’re set. Don’t pass this place up for some generic other place. You won’t be dissapointed!

Food here is mediocre. The meat is cut very thin, and lacks quality flavor. The macaroni salad was sweet, tasted odd. The bread is clearly coming from a bag because they are in clear sight behind the register. The booths are dirty because no one is cleaning them after the customers. I don’t know if this is a constant thing, but the TV was playing some really emotional Lifetime TV network show. Not appropriate. The BIG issue I have is having your child constantly behind the counter because she’s charging a cell phone! As well as hearing the lady that works the counter talk to the man in the kitchen about being Bipolar, taking her meds, and triggers! Really, so unprofessional. Not sure where all the good ratings are coming from. Very disappointed.

The Dip has met our Ultimate Sandwich Challenge. You know, the one that gets you a seriously good tasting, over the top huge, sandwich for a ridiculous price. This place hadn’t even been on my radar. We just happened to be close enough, and needy enough, to find it on Unilocal. And the close to perfect 4.5 star rating drew me in. Besides, who believes it when a place is ranked a perfect 5 anyway?(Me?) Tucked into a non-descript Industrial complex, you would drive by without even noticing. But there it is, waiting and wondering when you will finally discover them. The sandwiches are beautiful to behold. Each 9 inch wonder is so packed with meat, we managed to feed 4 ½ hungry hippos(with no complaints) with only 2 sandwiches. Darn, I was really hoping for left-overs. And for under $ 7, which includes a small cup of pasta, potato, or marinated cucumbers, how do they do it? The Italian Sub is stuffed with turkey, ham, cheese, and a not-so-dry salami. Add in the lettuce, onions, tomato, and a smattering of sliced peperoncinis, not too much, and some mayo and mustard, and you have a real winner. The Hot Beef Dip is also a gorgeous sandwich. The beef is really good tasting, expertly, thinly sliced. The au jus is wonderful. They use a beautiful, tender white roll for starters. Very fresh tasting too. A person who usually tears away large chunks of bread and leaves it untouched, I found myself sneaking nibbles after already declaring myself done. I am ashamed. So happy to have found this friendly sandwich paradise, my only wish is that they would find it in their hearts to expand to more locations. Hint: perhaps even Corona, my kind of town!

Always saw this place across the street from work, finally tried it out. This is my second time coming here and it has become my favorite roast beef dip sand-which place!

I work next to this place so I frequently eat here. Good sandwiches, good au jus dip(hot as hell so let sit for a minute or two) & excellent macaroni salad. Only issue I run into is when I don’t want mustard/mayo…but that’s not enough to hold me back.

The owner is very nice. Very clean place. The décor is simple. But the sandwiches are very good with lots of meat in them. Seems like he gets good cuts of meat and knows how to slice them just right. I got the Italian dipper-ham, turkey, salami. It was piled high on very soft Bread. My dad got a roast beef dip, he said it was very good. For 6.99 you even get a small side, I got the potato salad and dad got the cucumber salad, both were very good.

No consistancy unfortunately i will not be returning i need to have trust in places to give me accurate orders and this is not one of them maybe the lady upfront is too rushed. I ordered a sub with no mayo n no mustard and sure enough when i return to work its got mustard all over tried to get thru it but didnt eat much of it as u can see by my pick. Going to take a drive now for lunch rather than walking down the street.

Actually walked a mile to this place(and back) while my bike was being serviced at BC Cycles, so I had two expectations… Good food and cold soda. The Dip delivered. In fact, I walked in and noted to myself that it was odd that the air wasn’t on, on such a hot day. I came in late in the day, and no customers were there, but the owner went right over and shut the door and turned on the air, without me even saying a word. Thankful for a thoughtful owner who saw a hot patron and made it more comfortable without me having to ask. The menu was simple but comprehensive enough for my needs. I came in looking for a French Dip and of course they had one. It was awesome. The meat was sliced thin enough to read the newspaper through, exactly as it should be.(Sandwich shops in California don’t seem to get this.) The dip was amazing, thankfully, since it’s the namesake. ;-) Since you wouldn’t believe me if I had nothing bad to say, I’ll note that I was looking for a crustier bread — another thing that’s far too scarce in California. But honestly, with the thin-sliced beef and the awesome au jus, it was really just perfect. Sloppy and drippy and wet, just like it should be. Great job, The Dip!

This place has good sandwiches, but I will never come here again. Yesterday I drove 30 minutes out only to find they were closed early at 2pm. I’ve had this happen twice already. You said you would be there for me until 4:30PM, you lied. You always lie. «Go find another lover, to bring uh, to string alongggggg” — Bön Iver

If you enjoy sandwiches, The Dip Famous Sandwiches and More will not disappoint. The prices are extremely budget friendly and the food is phenomenal! I picked up a triple(turkey, ham, and roast beef) with American cheese instead of cheddar and requested that the sandwich-maker include pickles and onions in addition to the lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, mustard, and avocado spread that ordinarily comes on the triple sandwich. When I unwrapped my sandwich, the first thing that I realized was the enormous portion of meat! To my delight, the sandwich was not only a treat for my eyes, but it also tasted great too; the bread was soft but sturdy enough to maintain the structural integrity of the sandwich and the meats were high quality! All sandwiches come with a side of potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, or a bag of chips. At $ 6.99+tax, you can’t go wrong! The only reason why I’m not giving a five star rating is that I was given a side of coleslaw instead of the side of macaroni salad that I requested. With that said, the coleslaw was actually pretty good. The next time you’re craving a sandwich at lunch, I recommend that you pass on the lettuce sandwich that you can get at Subway and give The Dip Famous Sandwiches and More a try!

A friend from New York said this reminded him of a deli in NY. So I had to try it! My coworker picked up lunch today, I had a special request roast beef and pastrami. Best sandwich in town hands down, the bead is perfect and the meat is made with love. I’ve never eaten a sandwich so fast in my life, that’s how good it is. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I think I found a new lunch spo! If you are in the are it’s a must try.
