This is such great food. Might not look fancy or impressive from the outside, but the food is the best! Very family friendly, and even more money friendly.

This place is not child friendly. Very dingy and the food was less than average. Wilted lettuce with dirt on leafs. I had the lobster ravioli and it smelled and tasted fishy. Felt ill after. Do not waste your money.

Love this place, such elevated Italian food and they deliver! We love the risotto balls, the arugula salad is a must, The lasagna is one of the best i’ve ever had, and the chicken dishes are out of this world. I’m addicted!

Ramsey help this place kitchen nightmares please. I was starving so I thought anything will good boy was I wrong!!! Completely watered down nasty fettuccine sauce undercooked pasta so I tried something else and threw that away politely I said it was to go. Left have the plate of plain white spaghetti with butter. I could here microwaves going on left and right. Locals come here and I don’t know why but they must have bo sense of taste until this place gets a reality check those locals will be the only thing keeping them open. Please if you don’t believe this review I dare you to go in and try for yourselves!

I went to Niccolo“s for the first time tonight and OMG it was amazing!
I live in San Pedro and have never tried this Restaurant before.
I guess i was not expecting much because it is in a little strip mall right there on Western and I said what the heck let me grab something to take home.
It was the best food I have had in a long time.
I am so happy i found this place.
The food is awesome.

I’ve been coming here for many years but recently they remodeled and have upgraded and the food is extremely fresh and incredible a very good value all family run and owned the waitress Rihanna was very friendly and helpful I highly recommend this restaurant

This place is so good! It’s a little family owned spot with a great vibe. They have a really good menu that they keep up to date, so it’s not the same old stuff all the time, which I like a lot. AND they have THE BEST cannolis! Seriously don’t order too many, you’ll want to stuff yourself with them, they’re amazing…

The servers were nice, but wished the food was better. The quality of food was subpar and lacked flavor. I was disappointed.

The food was excellent! By far best I’ve had. Service was outstanding and I plan to come back for the Lunch specials they sound tasty!

The customer service in this place is horrendous. I have a friend who knows Laura (the owners wife) and when my friend is w us, it’s fair but when she’s not w us, we are ignored. The final straw was this evening when I got there first, I waited almost ten minutes standing there while Laura looked over a few times and ignored me. Nick, the owner couldn’t be bothered as he stood at the bar talking to people he knew. Five min later a waitress came up and said she would be right w me and left me alone. If it wasn’t for a patron who had been sitting at the bar who offered me his seat, I would’ve continued to be ignored. The gentleman explained he knew the owner and I told him I needed a table for 5 and that my party should arrive shortly so he helped me put two tables together. I then waited another 5 minutes, alone, being ignored once again until the same gentleman came and asked if I wanted a drink or an appetizer. At this point Laura, who clearly recognized me, had glanced over at me no less than 4 times and did not come over and the other waitress was nowhere to be found. Nick, the owner, was still yapping to his friends despite my attempts to make eye contact. The friend of the owner brought me a glass of wine and when I told him this was the worst service I’ve ever had here, he brought me garlic bread. How sad that the owners don’t care enough about customer service, yet the owners friend made a much bigger effort to accommodate me. Once my party arrived, the waitress walked up and heard me say « Unilocal review» and suddenly she became much more attentive. I’m surprised we didnt walk out. Mostly because having to drive 3 cars to another restaurant sucks, but this is our last time here. The food has always been mediocre and certainly not worth the terrible customer service. Instead of investing money in recent remodels they should have invested in their customer service.

Came here on a Subday afternoon. The place was empty :(
Staff was very friendly, server engaged in a conversation with my daughter. Service was prompt but it is expected because we were the only ones there lol. We weren’t too hungry so I shared a fettuccine Alfredo w/​shrimp with my daughter and it was delicious!!! We got four jumbo shrimp perfectly seasoned and fresh! The place was clean and felt really homey. I loved it, we will definitely be coming back!

This place can be nice and enjoyable. But quality is inconsistent. It appears they are going through growing pains as they try to reposition the restaurant to be somewhat more upscale. During one recent visit, half the items on the menu were not available. They were out of chicken! Hope they get their act together!

Family owned and delicious. A perfect go to restaurant. The food is freshly made and the menu has changed and has more to offer. They have a variety of decent wines. The arugula salad and the scallops are my favorite. You will not be disappointed. Don’t let the store front strip mall fool you. It’s a great Italian restaurant!

I have been coming here forever! I drive a long ways to eat here fairly regularly!
I was shocked at 820pm Saturday evening to be denied eatin service and after complaining was allowed to place a togo order for 5 chicken club sandwiches that the waitress screwed up.
Chicken Parm doesnt sound anything like chicken CLUB especially after calling in advance to make sure they hadn’t run out of bread as has happened after driving over 40 miles to eat here in the past!
The upset and reluctant kitchen staff prepared 5 of the wrong sandwiches and were even more upset when I then placed an additional order for 4 more sandwiches (because they are that damn good!).
I hope this was just a bad day for Niccolos and isnt a sign of even worse things to come in the future! Especially after reading some other reviews.
I like the service, quality and value much better several years ago before the ever evolving interior makeover.

Would of been 5 stars if it wasnt for their rude service and mean attitude. PS: 50 cents for a little cup of ranch dressing? 40 $ worth of sandwiches and an extra 50 cents for one ranch? Its ridiculous

Used to frequent this establishment often, until I found hair in my food — not once but twice. First time — shame on them and second time shame on me for going back. And to top it off, when I kindly shared the info about the hair, the waitress told me she couldn’t take it off my bill because I ate most of the salad. As if I saw the hair and kept on eating. Nasty. With all the pizza places in town, this one has lost my business.

We used to like this place when it was still just a simple hole in the wall eatery. We like it because they cater to our special needs like thin crust pizza, chicken wings not too overcooked with hot sauce on the side. We didn’t really mind the wait and the high price which is really ridiculous and I simply dislike but my family like the food and at that time, the food was good. I also agree with a lot of the reviews about the rude owners and the bad customer service. I could not understand why a business with many negative feel from customers remain in business.
We stopped going there because the owners decided to upscale the place a little. The price, food got more expensive, servings are smaller and yes, the wait and customer service remained the same and they no longer cater to your special needs.
They tried to sell me that their price was more reasonable but check this out, we used to buy chicken wings there and it comes with 10 pieces. They reduced 10 to 8 pieces but the price is just slightly lower. In other words, they want you to buy two orders to get more than 10 pieces but you end up paying a lot more.
In theory, they had just gotten worse. They tried to gain my business back by emailing me but we are never coming back.

Everyone needs a go-​to restaurant… that one place close to home that you can go-​to when the day has been long, you have not had time to plan dinner, you need some comfort food, and you know the food will be consistently wonderful. Yesterday was such a day and Niccolo’s has become our go-​to restaurant!
Since moving to San Pedro a year and a half ago, we have been frequent diners here. Set in a strip mall, it does not jump out at you so we were pleasantly surprised the first time we ate there. Over the months we have discovered our favorite dishes. A family business, we learned that some of the recipes are the father’s…like the cioppino which is a favorite of my husband… a rich, thick seafood broth filled with various shellfish and fish, or the wonderful lasagna… a very authentic Italian dish with many layers of just delicate sheets of pasta and a rich bolognese style sauce, or my personal favorite, the gnocchi… very unique in that it is homemade, pan seared with a rich mushroom and beef sauce.
Then there are the more modern additions of the new chef, their son. One that was a wonderful surprise to me was the scallops delicately seared atop a rich creamy risotto.
They have a modest wine list available by the glass or bottle.
We have found the owner to be very pleasant. The help does not hover over you but they are responsive. We appreciate having this little restaurant in our neighborhood!

Our family came on a Sunday night and there were only two other parties seated. We were not promptly or friendly acknowledged upon arrival. Throughout dinner, we had a hard time finding our waitress when we were in need of something.
The menu isn’t very large and I couldn’t even find a basic spaghetti dish with bolognese sauce. Therefore, I ordered the baked mastacolli because a picture on Unilocal looked good. Along with the pasta, I ordered garlic bread and a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was pretty good. a decent size and has a slice of cucumber and tomato. The pasta dish itself was terrible. I am not very picky when it comes to pasta, but the sauce was very watery and not very tasteful. The noodles were very overcooked and I ate less than half my meal. I perceived my meal as a very simple dish, one I did not think could be messed up easily. Bad service and food means I won’t be back.
