This place was very cute and a hidden gem, but for a thrift shop it is too expensive. They have a bunch of cool things though! Still go and check it out.

First of all this is not a thrift store. There is nothing thrifty about it in anyway. This could very well be the most expensive«thrift store» on the planet! Don’t get me wrong animal causes are good but you’re better off just walking in there handing them $ 200 and leaving.

They have a lot of great stuff and the best part is that it all benefits an animal shelter just a short walk away. I loved their book room and they even had selections of clothes, furniture, Christmas decorations, and other for the home items. I fell in love with some of the art available too. And don’t forget that after you’re done shopping you can pop over to visit all the cute animals waiting for their forever homes(and maybe take home one or five of them too).

Wonderful upscale resale shop! Located in Rancho Santa Fe, it’s a feeder for a great selection of designer clothes, accessories, home goods, etc. Many items were new, with tags! I got the most gorgeous Tahari evening gown for only $ 65! But, also got a lovely beach themed wicker basket I’ll use to house a gift for only $ 2. Great find! Worth the trip out there. Will recommend to all my friends!

If you weren’t told this is a resale/consignment shop you would instead think it’s a lovely boutique shop. Everything is so upscale and tasteful and everyone is very friendly. The prices are ridiculously low. And the best part is it’s all for the animals! Just drive to Helen Woodward and follow the signs! You’ll love it!

Unworn, tag still on, anthropology dress for $ 40. You can’t get much better than that at a second hand store. Not only does this place have a lot of good finds here, I also got a glass bowl for $ 10 to make myself a little terrarium, It’s the most well organized second hand store I’ve ever been in. It is a converted old animal hospital so they use each exam room to separate kids stuff, sporting equipment, and books. The center exam rooms are used as dressing rooms and they have more little treasures to decorate those rooms as well. Front reception is mostly cool display items, dishes, and women’s clothing and accessories. Most furniture is in the back room along with men’s clothing, unless it’s being used as display cases in the front. Honestly I spend about an hour here and could have spent more time if I hadn’t had to get back to work. There are a lot of hidden good finds in between the fun stuff. An all of it benefits the Helen Woodward Animal Center. You really can’t get much better than this. You get to go shopping for cheap but quality items and feel good about spending all that money on animals?! Done.
