Room was clean and inexpensive. It could be updated some. Even though it was close to the highway It was quiet to sleep, firm mattress and good pilliws.

Tall Timber was an easy pick for dinner during a drive through Randle. The menu selection is good with focus on burgers. Went with a burger dip and some chowder. It took a while for the food to be cooked, but I scarfed down the chowder in the meantime. The burger dip consisted of a patty placed between two rolls with au jus. I had pictured a burger roll with some cheese and onions or some other topping, but my mistake for not reading the description. The patty was good but the meal was bland. The chowder was average but still enjoyable. The server was very nice and welcoming. There were lots of bugs flying around and landing on the food, so it would have been nice if they had a bug zapper or something, but otherwise it’s a decent little place.

We’re from Seattle and were being tourists at nearby Mount St. Helens. It was a Sunday and we were hungry for breakfast but figured it was probably too late for breakfast, given it was 2pm.
Based on the great reviews on Unilocal,we pulled into Tall Timbers. As we pulled up we chuckled at two men, on the porch, in rocking chairs chatting. That felt comfy and homey.
The restaurant was super clean. Our waitress was very attentive, delightful, friendly, helpful. And we were excited to discover they serve breakfast all day.
We consider ourselves foodies. I ordered an omelette and it was promptly served with hashbrowns and English muffin. I thought it was pretty darn good. Boyfriend ordered eggs and pancakes and thought they were delicious.
The coffee was great and was refilled throughout our meal.
We thought that the prices were very reasonable.
Overall, it was a great meal and we would happily eat there again.

We’ve eaten here about 3 times now while we’ve been househunting in the area. The food is great, they have a good variety as well. Try the waffle fries, so good. Each time we have been there, Lindsey has been our waitress. She does a great job! Friendly, quick, and efficient. Try them, you won’t regret it.

Hill Air Force Base, UT
We were passing through after visiting eastern Washington and were hungry for a meal. We stopped in to this quaint, mostly locals only joint. We were quickly greeted by a friendly server who took our drink orders and went over the menu. We were so pleased with our portions and the taste of our food. I had the corned beef hash and thoroughly enjoyed my coffee. We would definitely stop again if we were passing through town.

We rented the two bedroom unit which was clean and well appointed. Nice kitchen and living space. We would definitely stay there again. Can walk to quaint little restaurant and lounge. Good food. The breakfast pizza a wonderful treat.
