Unfortunately, a fire in early December forced this nice restaurant to close temporarily. I drive by this restaurant daily. I will post an update if and when it looks like they are ready to reopen.

It’s a little local diner-esque establishment, the food is well prepared, simple, classic diner food, nothing to go crazy about, but not horrible either. Service is generally outstanding, waitresses are very attentive. Good value for the money, I’ve never left hungry. All in all, I’ll gladly return and visit again

We were in Stoughton looking for a good breakfast on a Sunday morning and this appeared. We were so happy we found it. A great breakfast for two for $ 17.00 + tip. My wife and I loved the way our eggs, toast, hash browns, home fries, toast, and sausages were fixed, and the coffee was hot and strong.

This is an average neighborhood breakfast joint. Nothing on the menu looked exceptional, just regular breakfast foods(omlettes, hash out of a can, pancakes, etc). The food was just okay. I didnt order an omlette, but they did look good as they passed by my table. The coffee was hot(average breakfast blend), and the service was fine. The prices were a little higher than average. I would go back.

I have to say that if you’re looking for a fancy schmancy type of place to eat, this isn’t it, now if you’re looking for a traditional breakfast place with good food, large portions, friendly staff, and did I mention GOOD food? then this is the place to go! I moved to Randolph 2⁄12 years ago and this was one of the first places I tried. By rule of thumb, I tried other breakfast joints in the area before I found a place I’d set in my heart was the best! This place won by a long shot! How many places can you go to these days and see the owner in there helping out on busy days, stopping by to check on everyone, and asking how they are enjoying their food and service… NOTMANY. That type of gesture usually happens at Chain restaurants which are mandated to the managers. To make a long review short… try The Breakfast Connection, trust me and I’m usually very picky about my food, service, and quality! P. S. prepare to take half your breakfast home… or even SHARE! Thanks Susan for not only running a good business, but also for providing a friendly, tasty, and comfortable diner!

Awful, Awful, Awful!!! Where do I begin??? My girlfriend and I were just trying to have a nice breakfast on a Saturday afternoon and we ended up HERE! It was a last minute decision and I drive by it all the time just have never been. My girlfriend has been a few times and said the place was ok so I figured lets give it a shot. I ordered the Triple Play, it came with 3 pancakes, 3 eggs any style and 3 bacon or sausage. My scrambled eggs were ICE cold, wet and just plain nasty. The bacon was extremely floppy, cold and NASTY! The pancakes were surprisingly delicious. My girlfriend ordered the western omelette that comes with peppers, onions, and ham. She didn’t want the ham so she replaced it with linguica and the waitress said that it was okay. Of course when the order came it had HAMINIT! No big deal because its not like the waitress came to check on us at any point during our meal until we were done eating. The homefries were cold, flavorless, greasy and again NASTY! Here comes the word again NASTY for the over buttered toast that was in the shape of a Sharpays face. Overall the place is dirty, out dated, a tad bit trashy, and the staff is loud and obnoxious. Go to this place at your own risk. I will not be back EVER again and I bet if you go you wont either.

Eek! Methinks not is exactly what I think. Cold food. Really bad home fries. Cold food. Who likes cold food? NOTME :( I had high hopes for a delicious breakfast, but it just wasn’t happening. Womp Womp. OH yes of course before i forget… my toast was so inedible, soggy, and there was a pool of butter in the middle. WHO would eat that? and who the heck would serve that? Honestly. BADBADBAD! Never going back.

I had to go to this restaurant for breakfast because everyone kept talking about it! Well, I went and thought the restaurant was dark, dingy, and had a slight snitch smell. The waitress was very nice and accommodating — the best part of my experience. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are decent. I really wish the owner would paint the place; you kinda feel like you’re eating in a basement or old trailer. I tell ya a little more day light will do the place wonders. And, please, please, replace that dirty smelling carpet. I really doubt I will return unless someone really wants to go and they have to be paying. I’m afraid to try lunch or dinner :(.

The Breakfast Connection will always be home to me. Growing up not too far away, I would always go there with my grandparents whom live down the street from here whenever I slept over as a kid. Back then it was called Peter’s Place and was also the family stop for all major holidays to get brunch. Never did we miss a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Labor Day, or Thanksgiving without having breakfast here. The times have changed and two decades later with new ownership, I still find myself going there with my grandparents every time I visit them. The prices are darn cheap, usually the three of us eat for about $ 20 total. What else do you expect from a shack on the side of the main drag? Classic dinner dive food served hot and in covered in orange grease served by women old enough to be my mother wearing acid washed jean shorts and matching store t-shirts. There are plenty of booths, and even swivel stools at the counter for those wanting the full experience. The coffee is always flowing, as is the local news and banter. Its the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and if you are like my grandparents you go there three to five times a week to catch up with everyone. Think of the Breakfast Connection as the Cheers of diners.

I’m really disappointed in this place… its really not that good… It’s actually pretty dirty inside. I went last week with my husband and this is exactly what we had for breakfast: 2 mini boxes of cereal(corn flakes and raisin bran) w/a side of milk 2 orange juices banana nut pancakes a side of hashbrowns and two sides of bacon TOTALBILL: 32.00!!! AREYOUKIDDINGME??? I could have bought breakfast for a week! The bacon was so hard we couldn’t even bite it. It’s sad this place use to be really good years ago. I’m never going back here not only for the outrageous prices of the breakfast I paid last week. But this place is in need of some serious cleaning. It’s time to get rid of the tacky half flashing christmas lights and the plastic plants. The carpet really needs to be cleaned immediately as does the entire place.

Far and away the best breakfast in the area. My weekend isn’t complete without a trip to the Breakfast Connection. Very friendly waitstaff, large portions, and a very reasonable price too.

While I did not have the worst breakfast ever, I certainly have had better. The food is edible, and the portions are large, but there was just nothing that wowed me about this place. It was a little dingy, too. The waitstaff seemed harried, but nice. I saw some of the lunch items go by, and those looked interesting, but I honestly doubt I would go back. There are far better places around for breakfast.

Breakfast Connection is a cute-ish place to grab breakfast. it is always packed on the weekends and they just got a face-lift with some new(at least new to them) booths. The food is OK and staff is rushed. my rating is a little weighted because every time I go here the waitress kind of makes fun of how young I look. On the up, there is a stained glass supply store on the drive over from my house — yay!
