Classic hand-tossed pies. Get get it with double cheese. Kids tend to love their pizza as well

If the pizza wasn’t as good as it is I would NEVER continue to go back there, but I’m new to the area so not sure of many good pizza joints… So you can bet your a*** once I find a new place My money will be going there. At Zachs The employees are beyond rude… Every. Single. Time. No matter what employee. And also, every. Single. Time They either forget something or screw it up. Or both. So If ur just in the area and lookin for a good pizza go to zachs, but check everything before you leave.

Went here because of the reviews. All I can say is very average pizza. I got a cheese and a pepperoni.

Closest you will get to New York pizza on the south shore. I have been searching high and low for New York Style pizza on the south shore and thus far this is the best. Bar pizza seems to be the thing on the south shore, the small pizza with very little crust, and a good amount of oil… yup that one. The pizza here is thin-not paper thin, good crust, tasty sauce and combination of mozzarella cheeses. The guy behind the counter is quite the character and will be sure to make you laugh!

I love the pizza from here. I always do delivery because I honestly never liked walking in to order. The vibe is awkward in a way since it’s not the best customer experience, so I rather avoid it by calling. This is mainly my reason for giving this place a 4 star rating. They only offer one size for the pizza and it is pretty large. The pizza is typically thin but just how I like it. If you’re looking for a place to stay in and dine, not the place I would recommend. If you’re looking for the best tasting pizza ever for a football party or special gathering then this is the go to! Their estimation for time of delivery is never exactly accurate. One time I was told 45 minutes to an hour and so I decided it would be nice to grab a quick Marylous coffee that was only 10 – 15 minutes away. I was 5 minutes down the road and the guy showed up 20 minutes after I placed the order. It’s great that they got it to me sooner, but I don’t like to be given bad time estimates. Now I know!

Great pizza. Hot, a little greasy, cheese melts in your mouth. Crust is the best anywhere

Ive been going to Zacks for years. I know Chuck who works the register. This is like going to see the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. I feel like I have to say my order clearly, Hand him cash and take 2 steps to the right. Thank him and leave. Any wrong move and I could get my pizza taken away from him. But once you open that pizza box and take a whiff its damn well worth it! All Randolphians eat at Zacks

5 stars for my all time favorite east coast style pizza. I tried it all from fancy chains on the west coast to deep dish from heart of Chicago and nothing beats a hand-tossed oven baked pizza from Zack’s.

Fairly decent pizza… the thin crust is the main positive. It’s one of those«fold the slice» pizzas. The place inside is reasonably clean. It’s a local pizza joint, so don’t expect pristine service…

Top Notch right here folks. World class pizza hands down, the Pepperoni pizza could be the best ever. This pizza makes chain pizza taste like prison food. Please do your belly a favor and get some. I live in another town but grew up in Randolph, even though the town is not what it use to be the food here still is. Great Job!

I’ve been coming here for ten years, while my step-dad has been coming here since it opened. The pizza here is freshly made and always delicious. It is a thin crust pizza with just enough of everything on it. For me the service is great as I am an insider, they even gives me free pizzas every now and again. However for those just walking in don’t expect friendly service, but do accept the great meal your about to eat for a fair price! Or just have it delivered. Don’t forget they are closed every Sunday, and on weeknights they might close earlier than their 11 a’clock closing time. Cash only!!!

I have been going here my entire life. Pizza is mediocre at best. Chicken cutlet on a round roll with cheese and sauce is superb. Service is hit or miss.

I moved to Randolph almost 2 years ago. One of the first things I wanted to do was find a good pizza joint nearby. I hit the bullseye with the first shot… Zack’s! The pizza is thin crust, almost always cooked perfectly. When it comes to pizza joints, the only thing I take into consideration is the quality of the pizza. So it would take a lot of non-pizza negativity to get me to change. And just a comment on an earlier review, the reason their mushroom pizza is so much better — they cook the mushrooms before they put them on the pie. Same with the onions. Best mush/onion pie ever!!! A couple of non-pizza related gripes: I always call in my orders, in fact, I have their number programmed in my blackberry so I can speed dial from the car when necessary. They always quote 15 – 20 minutes. I always like to be present when the pizza comes out of the oven to make sure it is as hot a possible when it hits my dining room table. About 90% of the time though, the time quoted is too short, it usually takes 25 – 30 minutes, so I end up waiting quite a while. They use sliced linguica instead of ground. Just a preference. There are 3 people that work the oven, a younger kid, a guy in his late 30s or early 40s, and the older guy. When the kid and the older guy are working the oven, you know you are getting the GREAT Zack’s pizza you’ve come to know and love. When the 30⁄40 guy is working the oven, it’s kind of a crap shoot. Still good, but not quite as good. A lot of people apparently grew up with the people who run the place. They are so friendly to each other. When I go in, the dialog is pretty much always the same: Them: «yeah?» or «name?» Me: «Jim» Them: «it’s gonna be another minute of 2» Me: «ok» Sit, wait, wait, wait Them: «hey, it’s ready» I stand up, wait at the counter another minute, they put the pizza on the counter, they continue talking to one another while the order is rung into the register(old fashioned pop-up register with no electronics — which is kinda cool) Them: «$ 17.50» I hand them the money, they hand me back the change which go into the tip jar. Me: «Thank you» That’s it, no thank you from them, no good night, but really, who cares, I got the killa pizza pies. Oh, they will make fun of you if you order a large or small pizza. They have one size only.

I literally grew up with this pizza, and after having lived in New York City for 3 years(and New York state for 7), I can honestly say I haven’t had anything here that beats Zack’s(or Papa Gino’s…depending on my mood). Their crust is usually cooked perfectly. We all have our off days, but 9.5 times out of 10, you will get a great pizza… crispy on the outside and perfectly delightful and doughy on the inside The sauce is delicious: a great combination of sweet and spicey. Their fries and sandwiches are also good, but definitely go for the pizza. Both the pizza and the employees will keep you coming back. It’s been family owned since it opened. We used to order from here every Friday night growing up and they all got to know me and my family. They even knew my mom’s voice when she would call to order(this was before caller ID). Definitely a must-have pizza experience if you’re on the South Shore.

Zack’s Pizza has always been delicious! Sorry Lynwoods! The crust is delicious. The cheese and sauce is always cooked just right! I remember running in there since Elementary school and paying 50 cents for a slice and a cup of coke and the man behind the counter always smiling! I still love the pizza just much today! The best thing about it 30 years later is now they deliver! You always have to of course, get extra cheese. there is just no pizza like it!

Just had some pizza and a delicious meatball sub from Zack’s and it is still good! I’d like to mention that the meatballs were homemade and the sub was very filling, for only $ 5.00. Thank you for another delicious meal Zack’s!
