Native Grill & Wings

We went in on a Saturday evening at 5:15. Our party consisted of 4 adults, a 6 year old and 2 babies. We ordered and got our appetizers in a reasonable amount of time. A gentleman who appeared to be the manager came by and talked to one of the babies. Soon we received our meals. My food was incorrect. The waiter apologized and said mine would be ready in just a few minutes. 20 minutes later everyone was done eating and I still had no food. I asked if I could get mine to go because at this point the babies were done. The waiter said he was so sorry and went to check on it. When he came back he handed me the bag and again said he was sorry. I called over the gentleman we had seen earlier and asked if he was the manager. He said only if we didn’t have a complaint (I think he thought he was funny). I explained the situation and he said he couldn’t give a discount on a specially priced meal (we had the 2 for $ 22). He said I could have a free dessert. No thanks since by this time half of my family had left. He said he would see what he could do, maybe he could give me 10% off our ticket (which by the way was $ 48.). When the waiter came back with our tickets I had received a whopping $ 1.35 off! Needless to say no tip and no return visit. It took about 15 minutes for them to figure out the tickets with the BIG discount and so now my food was nice and cold. PS. if you go, don’t order the side of cole slaw, unless you don’t think $ 1.99 for two tablespoons is too much.

We just went here for the first time tonight. The service was GREAT, our waitress was very attentive to our needs and the manager even came out and greeted/​chatted with us. The food was good, the sauces/​rubs for the wings was awesome. Overall it was a good dining experience, and we will return again.

We were here twice while on vacation once for lunch one for dinner. Staff seems like they need more training although they were very pleasant, Bobby was awesome. Food was attractively presented and overall was very well made. The building itself is very noisy so visiting is almost impossible while eating. Layout is strange just seems that they missed the mark somehow on making this a great restaurant.

Just got back from lunch with my office staff. Great service and all 5 people had a great meal. Place was packed. Waiting 10 min for table and was quickly served great food.

Great layout! Huge horseshoe bar and friendly staff. Chris behind the bar is very friendly and greeted us immediately as we sat at the busy bar. Great daily specials, Tues, wed & thurs sound like good days to eat some wings and drink beer. There are at least 6 different TVs in front of me at any time.

First time here, was not impressed. We were seated immediately, and got our drinks fairly quickly, but didn’t see our waitress again until we got our food, and then not again until we got our bill. I asked for a refill when our food came, but never got it. The food was mediocre and lukewarm. Wing sauce was far too thick, and not very tasty. They were very skimpy with the fries. We were also seated right beneath a vent blasting cold air. It’s winter, the AC should not be turned up that high.
Wasn’t entirely awful, but we definitely will not be returning for a second visit.

Went for lunch with coworkers. The service was pretty good for a restaurant just getting its sea legs. The food, however, was bad. My coworkers Kummelweck sandwich had coarse salt completely covering the bun. He thought maybe it was a garlic butter and salt concoction so he bit right in… Eww! He had to scrape it off and drink a whole glass of water before continuing. The buffalo wings were fine, nothing special. The dry rub wings we got were overdone and I think they just sprinkled the dry rub on AFTER the wings were cooked… huh? My lettuce wraps had the tiniest diced pieces of chicken in it, thus drying the chicken out. It didn’t even come with a sauce. Like I said, the service was good and they had just opened, but the food should have been better regardless.

Went for the Monday night special. Waitress charged us $ 5.25 for the free drink included in the special. When I asked about the charge she said I didn’t order the right thing… She refused to fix the charge and subtracted $ 2 from the total bill. Will not be returning.

The native New Yorker is like an Applebee’s or Chili’s. Wings were good but kinda dry, I’d probably ask for extra sauce next time. I was under the impression this was solely a wing place but they also have pizza, burgers, nachos, tacos etc. staff was friendly, the was a 20 min wait for lunch but I’m sure only because it’s new. Over all decent place I’d go back back!

BEST WINGS EVER! This is my husbands favorite place to eat. We are soo happy they brought it here! Very friendly staff and décor is nice.
