I passed up several motels to stay here because of the reviews I read on google. The staff was friendly on arrival, the only room left was a smoking room, but again. I really wanted to check this place out eventhough sinuses were already acting up. The place is clean and appears well kept. It is cute and very retro. As were the mattresses apperantly. Bad cramp in my back this morning. I was awakened this morning by two old men discussing how to get the door open despite the safety lock being on. I opened the door and assured them that I was still there and asked the time. It was before 9 am. So we got around to take my grand daughter swimming, thinking check out to be noon. On the way to pool was asked my room number, if I was done, I asked what time check out was. 10:30. I apologized and requested late check out so she could swim. Was told the girls needed to get their rooms done so I should move it along. So we went to pack up the room and the entire time the girls were by the door waiting for the room and the«bosses», getting on them. This made for a very awkward experience, and leads to safety concerns as well.
