The no smoking room was very smoky. We couldn’t leave the window open because the screen was torn and would let bugs in. Even though it is a no smoking hotel an ash tray was provided in the room. The bathroom walls were dirty. They charged $ 10 more than the price on their own Web site.

My husband and I stopped here for one night on our drive home from a trip to Montana. There is a Motel 6 literally next door that advertised rooms at $ 35/night, but we chose the Super 8 for $ 80/night thinking that it might be a little nicer and because it included a continental breakfast. The woman at the front desk was extremely nice and courteous and helped us get a room without any fuss. The room wasn’t terrible – but it wasn’t great either. The décor was old, the carpet was dark and worn, the bathroom floor was yellowy-green linoleum, and there were plenty of small holes and cracks on the trim and walls in the bathroom. It was clean, though, and provided everything two weary travelers would need – a shower and a bed! We slept really well – the motel was very quiet despite being right off the highway. The breakfast the next morning was meager. They had cereal(Fruit Loops and Raisin Bran), two types of mini muffins(oat nut and lemon poppy seed), coffee, milk, and juice. The orange juice was dispensed by a machine and was gross. The muffins were decent and seemed fairly fresh. We didn’t even bother with the coffee and went to a nearby gas station instead. Overall, we probably should have just stayed at the Motel 6. For half the price, we would have gotten the same quality.
