Love this store and the enployees. The ladies and gentlemen that work there are so kind and personable! I love the discounted prices on all products, name brands for such a discount the store is so reasonable it’s a must check out!!! Products change regularly and prices are always low enough not to feel bad buying anything… expensive name brands and everyday products all together under one roof. You won’t be sorry you checked it out. Be aware some of the food items are outdated hence why they are discounted so much, green sticker out of date orange sticker still in date.

Who doesn’t love a bargain? We like to pop in periodically for a browse. This place is a lot like Ocean State Job Lots on a smaller scale — clearance house for surplus, damaged, and nearly expired or past date(in the case of dry foods) goods. Clothes, housewares, general pharmacy/beauty products. As someone else commented, they’re usually recognized brands, not products privately made for that store/chain. They often carry products from Costco and BJs. This visit they had Kirkland Signature men’s ties and underwear. Sometimes they even have my favorite antipasto that I usually only find at Costco in Canada.(It is a Canadian product.) Never seen it at Costco here, though a staff member told me that’s where they got it. I stock up when I find it at Mr. G’s. It’s not usually expired. None to be found this time. They’ve got a new home décor section on the side wall. And now a small selection of refrigerated fresh dairy products in the very back annex. Branching out into the convenience store market? The store is always clean and tidy(which only makes some damaged packages look a little more decrepit;)) and staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Another update on Mr. G’s. When available, the eggs are less than $ 2 per dozen and large — I’ve noticed two double-yolks in the past three months. Also(and I can’t believe I’m giving up this secret), pasta shoppers need to dig through the shelves in search of De Cecco(day CHAY ko) and Ronzoni pastas. Mr. G’s picks up the dent-and-scratch foodstuffs of your dreams, and at 89 cents per one-pound box(approximately 13 oz. for De Cecco wheat pastas), this is a truly exceptional value. Short of making your own pasta, this is the stuff to get. I’m an American Test Kitchen guy, and these are among their top-rated pasta products. Feel free to email me at for a simple chicken soup recipe that David Chang suggested during his travels. I use De Cecco or Ronzoni fettucine and a five-pound chicken, plus some veggies(for a veg nage), spices and sesame oil.

I am a fan of Mr. G’s. I like this store, as it is closer to my home. than the store in Windsor, VT which I frequent regualrly. I think this store is bigger than the Windsor location, but anyways. Mr G’s is great as you never know what kinds of treasures you will find. Good brand tags at deep discounts. I like the clothing, tools, appliances, housewares„ foods, and so much more. Mr G’s is a great place, especally on a time where so many things are over priced ad expensive its fun to get a deal now and then.

A discount shop in Raymond, New Hampshire. They sell distressed food items at this location; dented cans and damaged boxes. You can get bottom dollar discounts on name brand items unlike the food items at any typical dollar store. They also have a variety of items ranging from furniture to clothing.
