Traveling from Portland to North Conway, we came across this attractive little house along Rt. 302. Lured in by the big sign that read «Books» (and the fact that it was open), we found inside a well arranged, clean-​smelling and diverse selection of used books. The manager was pleasant and knew her stock well, and she made no attempt to interfere with our casual searching. Fiction hardbacks were separated from the paperbacks, and in general, the signage was good, making specific targets easy to find. A good choice of Maine and New England books, of course, but rather light on history. A worthwhile stop, recommended for all bookaholics.
