Food was good but serving sizes small, particularly for BBQ. Pulled pork sandwich should be at least ½ lbs for their prices. It was less than ½ that.

Brought my office staff here for a fast lunch. Quick drive over from Bridgewater. Food was great, service was very friendly. Clean environment. Some dishes were better than others, but good variety.

Negatives… No baby back ribs. Bacon appetizer had so much maple syrup on it you couldn’t taste the bacon. Ribs were too smokey. Mac and cheese was too thick and tasted like Velveeta instead of homemade. Coleslaw was tasteless. No liquor license right now. Wait staff was not very attentive. Positives… Pickles were awesome. My son loved the chicken fingers and fries. The pulled pork sandwich was very good. We may give them another try. They have potential if they took a little more attention to detail, service and quality control to be a good restaurant.

Disclaimer: Their Liquor license is being updated, so the server said that they aren’t serving alcohol for two weeks. This may have impacted my night, so I’ll have to come back when everything is back to the norm. My boyfriend and I were super super excited to try this place after looking at all of the reviews(and delicious pictures). The service was good, and the country music really suited the country setting. The corn bread was fresh out of the oven and super super delicious. For an appetizer, we got the pulled pork tots! They were absolutely delicious. I will have to give them 5 stars on that. For my meal, I had the brisket sandwich with brussel sprouts as my side. It was good. My boyfriend had the pulled pork and the chicken and was unfortunately very disappointed. His sides of macaroni and mashed potatoes were better. Although my boyfriend is in no rush to come back, I would definitely come here. Like other reviews, the sides are super tasty but the pork and chicken needed some work!

Amazing! My boyfriend and I decided to visit this restaurant when we were looking for an out of the ordinary lunch place, the initial item that brought us in was the plate of bacon. It was candied and delicious. I have never had ribs before but decided to try them here — most ribs I’ve seen are drenched in sauce, but these were rubbed spices and awesome. I pulled the meat off the bones with ease. We both got a ¼ rack with two sides of mac and cheese, I was able to finish it but was absolutely stuffed when I left. My only complaints are that I drink a lot of water at restaurants and the waitress never offered more, I had to ask whenever she walked by. The prices are a little on the expensive side, depending on what you get, but reasonable for the quality. Everything was delicious and completely worth it, you should try it at least once! I can definitely see myself going back.

Average. Great portions. Flavor not great. Ribs poor. Beers expensive 6 dollar bud light draft? Sandwich was great. Spicy bbq sauce tasted like vinegar. I will go back for a sandwich my family won’t.

Went for a late lunch. We were seated right away and brought mini cornbreads. We ordered pulled pork sandwich with fries and Kentucky Brown sandwich(can’t remember exact name, it was turkey, bacon, cheese, tomato gravy on Texas toast) with mac and cheese. All were delicious! You can choose your BBQ sauce from their selection on the table, I prefer the North Carolina style with a vinegar base. We opted to take half of our lunch home so we could try their«seasonal» dessert, which was Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse. OMG, that was to die for!

As good as it gets for the area. Only BBQ I’ve had in the state that can compete with BT’s Smokehouse in Sturbridge — I’d put 2 Jerks above Smokey Bones and many other Boston metro standards. Although the meat is probably a bit better at BT’s, the sides and overall experience at 2 Jerks evens things out. No ridiculous lines. Easy parking. Close to a Market Basket. Service has always been super fast and very friendly. Each bbq item I’ve had has been very good — ribs, brisket, chicken(½ and pulled), sausage and pulled pork. Bad reviews are either from off nights or improper expectations: 1. The ribs are not fall-off the bone tender. They’re not made to be — that’s generally considered too tender for good ribs. They had the perfect amount of chew, in my opinion. 2. They don’t remove the fat cap on the brisket. I love this, and it’s obviously intentional and not at all inedible. Be prepared to trim it yourself if you don’t eat fat. I would basically still come just here for the sides. Brussel sprouts are drop dead amazing. Fries always hot and crispy. My girlfriend loves the Mac & Cheese(which must have some smoked gouda or other smoked cheese in it). I haven’t gotten bad thing here, and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. I do find their beer selection a bit lacking, and I really wish they had a nice cider that wasn’t Angry Orchard or Woodchuck. My only complaint.

Love this place! My husband and I dined here last night and the food was fantastic. The cornbread with molasses butter was a great start to the meal. I usually never eat chicken wings, but we ordered the dry rub wings and needless to say, we ate them all. For meals, we order the pulled pork, the barbecued chicken and the brisket. All of it exceeded expectations. I am so happy this place opened. I live in the area and have seen the other restaurants that have opened in the same building come and go, and I think it is just a location issue. The inside is much nicer than I expected. There is no reason why this place shouldn’t be crowded all the time because the food is that good. Even better, this place also serves what is now our new favorite beer. I hope 2 Jerks is around for a long time.

Food was ok, nothing special. Crazy thing was when we ordered drinks, the waitress asked to see id. My husband and I are 68 years old! I don’t know whether she thought this was cute and supposed to make us think we looked like we were 20 years old, but it was just stupid and annoying. I wanted to tell the manager on our way out, but didn’t see anyone who looked like they could be management.

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Seems strange to say, but it was light. Maybe it’s the delicious brioche bun. The perfect amount of slaw adds great flavor. Crispy fries, tasty authentic honey mustard(they mix it instead of buying it) and a clean open dining room and bar found out the dining experience. An office Christmas party was going on in the dining room to the left.

I lived in Houston and came from a family of professional Chefs who are Masters at smoked Texas style briskets and food. And a I can say the food here at 2 Jerks was superb! The mac & cheese and the collard greens, corn muffin was to die for definitely 5 stars!

Got the brisket sandwich. This was my first time ever having a brisket sandwich. It was good! My side was mac and cheese. That was great! Very cheesy! Not a bad thing just warning u in case u don’t like alot. They serve corn bread to start on the house which was delicious! Only wish it was warm! I sat at the Bar it’s nice place to grab a drink and some grub! Can’t wait to come back and try something else!

This place is amazing. Really good food very conveniently located just past the milk bottle on 138. I tried the finger licking wings; so yummy with an added brushed on seasoning(or idk what it was but you definitely need to lick your fingers: P), Brussels sprouts are also everything everyone said they would be, delicious. I came here Thanksgiving eve and almost just bought a huge amount of the mac and cheese because it is WICKED freaking good and that was my job for thanksgiving dinner. Fried oreos, enough said. Atmosphere is great for grabbing a drink with friends, lunch with the kids, or a date night with your loved one. They serve beer and wine and you can tell they took care when picking what to serve. For example they serve Sculpin Ballast point which I haven’t had since moving back to the East Coast. link to the video where you can see the restaurant and learn a little about the menu: Really excited for this place to expand to more locations which I hear is coming within the next year. I will definitely be back.

This place is still new… A new restaurant should get a little over a year before reviews are really critical. I did try the brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw, mac cheese. The brisket was really good. Great smoke and very tender. I wanted to put sauce on it but it tasted too good on its own. Pulled pork was good too… i usually like it chopped but the flavor was great… I did add sauce but only cause the sauce tastes great. Mac&cheese was really creamy… I’ll be getting that more often. I’ll be back to try more and will update my review after they’ve been open for awhile more.

Checked out 2 Jerks BBQ on Saturday and was thoroughly impressed with the meal and quality of service. Prior to ordering, piping hot cornbread with a honey butter was delivered to the table and the four of us each had a piece. A nice way to start off the meal! The kids opted for the chicken fingers and french fries as well and the ribs and fries platter. Each was presented with a hearty offering and the kids both enjoyed their food. I started off with the chili which was served piping hot and was flavorful and chunky. Topped with cheese and served with a side of Fritos, the chili was a real winner! For dinner I oped for the 2 meat combo and had the pulled pork and house made sweet sausage. The pulled pork was dynamite and the sausage was grilled perfectly. The mustard based BBQ sauce went well with each. Mashed potatoes were a nice complement but the brussel sprouts were drop-dead amazing. Served with chunks of ham cooked in them, the brussel sprouts were easily the best I have had. Mrs. had the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and the review was positive all around! The beer menu(Disclaimer: I am a beer snob) was excellent for a BBQ joint and featured some nice selections such as Brewmaster Jack’s and Sculpin IPA. There was no room for dessert. The restaurant was clean and the service was top-notch; when dining with two kids you always hope for attentive service and we had just that. We definitely will be back to 2 Jerks BBQ in the near future. Well done!

Our server was new and we could tell that right away so we were patient with her and overall she did a great job, albeit a little slow, but no doubt over time she will improve. Simple review: Sides: 5 Stars, get the brussel sprouts with chunks of bacon, and the mac and cheese, both are insanely good Pulled chicken: 4 Stars, enjoyed this the most of all the barbecue Brisket: 2 Stars, half of my cut was inedible pieces of fat. Either the fat never rendered off or the meat wasn’t trimmed before being smoked. The barbecue sauce wasn’t anything too exciting and the two together where certainly underwhelming. Pulled pork: –2 Stars, my pork was literally nothing but greasy/fatty pieces, I brought it home for later and when the meat cooled the amount of congealed grease/fat in my takeout container pretty much described the dish in a nutshell. One of the worst pulled pork plates I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a try in you are in the area, might go back and try the wings, but definitely will go back for the side dishes.

Food was good but not sure about the whole sit down style. Should be more like commonwealth BBQ in wrentham, but about the food, the pulled pork was good, flavorful. The slaw, one of the few places that is actually taste good. The sauces were thin but tasty. Overall I would be back would like to try the ribs.
