I’ve loved this place since I moved here. Egg rolls, beef terriaki, rice, chicken wings, rangoons, are delicious. I love giving them my business, they are always so personable, and always remember me when I come back. I’ve had other chinese food in the area and I don’t understand what the big deal is about Hong Kong city.

With so many options (such as Hong King City 5 minutes down the road) why would you ever come here?
Food was bland and undercooked.
My plate was cleared and he threw away all my leftovers– more than half a plate– without asking if I wanted anything to go.
Service was non-​existent between not being checked on at all during meal and standing for about 5 minutes at host counter before even being acknowledged.
Plus it smells weird inside.
Just keep on driving.

I’ve tried dozens of Chinese food restaurants… But this has to be the best out of the only two, I actually enjoy. (I’m super picky about the way I like my Chinese food.) Usually order takeout to enjoy at home… But know if you’re eating inside there probably won’t be anyone else dining in. The phone rings, & several minutes later you’ll see someone come for pickup. The food is always piping hot & made correct. My favorites are: crab rangoons, beef teriyaki, pork fried rice, chicken fingers, & boneless spareribs. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I can’t tell you how their drinks are… But there is a bar for that. A function room for parties, & of course a giant goldfish to view for your entertainment. The staff is always friendly, I swear they’ve worked here for years. I highly recommend China Garden! … Just writing this made me hungry for more food ;)

I wasn’t going to review this restaurant because the food was so horrible. This is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten anywhere. I am not even going to go into details with everything but I will tell you all, do NOT eat here, the chicken fingers in the pupu platter locked amazing, they were huge, extra crispy on the outside and completely raw on the inside. The first bite of lomein I tried had a hair in it, there was nothing good about this meal, and I wish Unilocal allowed me to give them a 0.

One star because zero is not an option.
I used to love this place. The food is just plain gross now. We found dead flies in the chow mien and hair in the boneless ribs. I was the only customer there. So sad.

Went here to start the New Year. Had the Hot & Sour, and the Chicken Noodle Soups — both were hot, good & flavorful. My main course was combination plate of shrimp, broccoli, fried rice and egg roll. All was freshly made, and tasty. My husband made a New Year’s Resolution to eat healthy and loose weight. He had the steamed chicken and broccoli. The portion was ample, and had no seasonings or sauces to add taste or extra calories.
The restaurant is clean and has an old fashioned look which we like. Chinese lanterns and the mural of the fountain of carp add to the charm. Dinner including a beer was $ 34.

Place is ok at best!!! Food is very inconsistent, one day good another day bad. Place is creepy and the ghoulish employees doesn’t help. Ive been going since I was a little kid, but I figured that It wouldve been closed down by now. Ok place to get some cheap drinks, but nothing else to this dump that should’ve been renovated 15 years ago.

Keep driving to Hong Kong city. This place is horrible and dirty and quite frankly scary.

A place to get drunk about it.

Dont eat here, just dont do it! Its just gross, the place looks gross and the food is gross.
If you must go there sit at the sketchy old fasioned bar and have a drink. but donnnnnnt eat there. They limit you to only 3 mixed drinks but theres a reason for it. They’re RIDICULOUSLY strong!
