First off, it’s a chain, so I don’t expect it to be gourmet or anything above other chain steakhouses. The food is not bad and we enjoyed our dinner, but I take off a few stars because the way the place is run is super inefficient. The location itself is small for a chain restaurant and it really does not accommodate the demand. The several times we have visited the place was jam packed with crowds waiting for a table. This recent visit was the worst more expensive wise rather than food quality. We arrived expecting it to be busy since it was dinner time on a Saturday night. We could hardly make it through the front door because of the amount of people waiting. One would think there was some sort of mob inside! Can someone say, FIREHAZARD? Anyway, once we finally pushed through, the guy at the front with his tiny little voice and limp demeanor didn’t tell us how long the wait would be and just handed us a fob/buzzer. I asked again how long the wait would be and he said 20 min which later turned into 30 min, then 45 min. The only we stayed while we watched 5 other parties give up their buzzers and leave in a huff was because someone in our party was running late from an accident on the highway. The staff, however remained chipper and hard working, so in appreciation to that, we waited without complaint. Once we were finally seated, the servers were without a doubt overwhelmed and flustered. They were running around everywhere and just trying to get people out. It took ten minutes after we sat for a server to show up only to just take our drink order and then after our drinks were dropped off, the server literally ran and left our table before we could even get a word out. We were starving. Finally after an overall 20 min wait, we got our orders in only to get our food all wrong. The server begged me to just keep my plate and that she’d bring another plate of my side that she missed. She said she punched in the wrong thing when she put our orders in. So overall we enjoyed our meals for the most part, but was flustered trying to keep up with our server just to get an extra fork, refills, condiments, or whatever else that should have come with our meals. So, if you like Longhorn food, it doesn’t hurt to visit this location, but you will likely get a better experience when you come during inconvenient off hours instead of usual meal times. Good luck.

Came here on a late Saturday afternoon for dinner with my wife. Wait to be seated was approximately 20 minutes or so. Service was decent and waitress was friendly. For our appetizer we went with the Tonion. It was a bit different from the traditional bloomin’ onion served at Longhorns competitor Outback. Loosely pieces of fried onions served on a skinny plate. It was pretty awesome! For our entrée we both went with the Renegade Sirloin, steak was cooked properly. I choose the parmesan spinach as my side, was so good. My fries were on the salty side, but it seems like that is the case with the traditional chain restaurants. Overall, service and food was good. No problems at all. I would have rated it a five star, but the over salty fries determined the four star. Decent experience!!!

I have ordered here before and it has been OK but recently, I ordered lunch here. First off, it was 30 minutes late from when we had set the pickup time. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium, I got a well-done burger, burnt on one side. My french onion soup was atrocious. They wrapped the soup in foil(yes, soup) along with the bread and cheese. So what I got was a huge mess of soup wrapped in aluminum foil in the plastic cup. The cheese was obviously stuck to it so I kept getting pieces of foil while trying to eat this and gave up and threw it out. I don’t doubt they are a good sit-down dinner place, but I would stay away from ordering take-out.

We had a great dinner here. Loved the T bone steak and baked potato, and she had a prime rib with vegetables. Funny because she’d never had prime rib before and kept asking why wasn’t it grilled… Salads were out in 5 minutes and the main course within 15. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The location was convenient, right off of Rt 24 with lots of parking. We’re definitely coming back.

This restaurant is just simply amazing. I never had a issue with any of my orders that I’ve ordered in the past. The service there is very welcoming.

Wow… This resturant is amazing… I had a 3 course meal and they were all spaced out in perfect timing so I was able to eat it all(LOL)…Apps we had Spinach dip & The Fried shrimp… AMAZING! Only thin I was sad about we really wanted the Sampler App, but were unable to Substitue… In all reality no matter what resturant you are at, you should be made feeling like your right at home and order whatever you want a long as it’s on the menu that it. If you want to Substitue something no questions asked the answer should always be «YES» that is one of the best ways to build a relationship with your Guest and keep them coming back… Any who on to the next… I also had a salad which was awesome… For my min course I had the Steak Tips an although there steak tips texture wise tasted like shaving from left over steak the homemade Ajui sauce I ordered(made in house) Made them and cooked perfectly… So overall great but I will order a steak next time lol… TheBartender we had was amazing… Really nice, fun, and made you feel like you knew one another for years… Great customer service skills… Can’t wait to go again!!!

Similar to previous reviews here this location is not as good as other LHS. The food is okay — service runs hot and cold. But the worst part is the drinks. I’d suggest you order wine or beer — something they don’t mix. A margarita at this location is like expensive lemonade. The first time we thought it was a fluke. The second time we knew it wasn’t. We started bring nips of tequila or whatever the main portion of alcohol was in the drink. We asked to have a shot of tequila on the side but they said they can’t do that by law. I guess you can serve virgin drinks to unsuspecting customers. One time I even found a fly in my drink — they were kind enough to give us a $ 5 gift certificate but I’d have been happy if they’d just put some tequila in my margarita. So now I just order beer or wine. At least I get my money’s worth.

Stopped in here on the way back from the Cape yesterday for a quick dinner. It was a good restaurant. The décor was themed, but not overdone compared to other themed restaurants. Our waitress was friendly, but not overly pushy. My steak was cooked the way I like it, and the rice and salad were tasty additions. There was no wait at all, but we did stop in after the dinner rush. I’d definitely eat there again!

I haven’t been to a LHSH in quite some time but I have to say the steak was the best one that I have had in a loooong time. I’m a huge porterhouse fan and I tried theirs. Wow!!! So tender and buttery. The waitstaff in the bar area was so fun and friendly, too. I will sneak away here more often now.

The Longhorn Steakhouse located n Seekonk MA is top notch. I absolutely can not say the same for it’s sister in Raynham. I’ll start with the good, the service was great and my wife loved the French Onion Soup. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and what a disaster they were. The menu showed them as the neatly stuffed quaint little mushrooms, what I received was a handful of mushrooms covered in melted cheese on a plate… covered in melted cheese, there was not a single crumb of stuffing, just mushrooms with cheese on top, not what I was going for. I ordered Prime Rib, medium rare, the prime rib was somewhere between medium well and well, there was very little pink at all. My wife ordered the ribeye medium rare and hers was somehow well done at one end and rare on the other. I worked in restaurants when I was younger, I know it’s never a good idea to send food back, but I really wanted too. The steaks weren’t all that bad, but when you’re spending $ 70 on a meal, you like it cooked they way you asked for it to be cooked and frankly to be honest there’s about 20 other better places to get a steak. I won’t be back

No complaints here, food was good, steak was cooked closed to how I asked it and the sweet potato was good. Waitress was friendly and polite but not overly pushy. Only issue was my beer came out warm. We went early so there really was no wait time, was seated promptly. Its a chain restaurant so expect over the top décor. Reminds me of Texas Roadhouse but without the loud music blaring in your ear while your eating.

We’ve been coming weekly, usually on Monday, for a couple of years, and spending about $ 55 between the two checks. We feel as though we don’t know whether the meals will be good, or there will be some kind of a problem, so we’re going to try some other restaurants in the area for our weekly get-togethers. On 5/12, the steak tips were overcooked again, after a specific request not to overcook them — they were brutally overcooked the prior week, to the point of being inedible. When my friends mentioned this to the server(at the end of the meal, because God forbid they cause a scene during the meal by letting a manager know that something isn’t right!), she said that the tips are differently sized and therefore it’s hard to get them all to the right degree of done-ness. My friends felt as though they’d been blown off with a bogus excuse. The lettuce in the salads had browned somewhat and shouldn’t have been served, the baked potato skin was a hard crust and shouldn’t have been served… bottom line, meal quality has been inconsistent lately, trending from unexceptional to mediocre.

The food is delicious. The only place I’ve gone to that my girlfriend cleaned her plate before I did. Its pretty cheap and the service is always good. Great place to go with friends.

One of our go to places… The food is good, service is good, prices are average to moderate. The downfall with all the Longhorns is there is always a wait(we try to utilize the call ahead seating to minimize our wait times) Longhorn locations are far and few on the South Shore so that accounts for the long waits. This steakhouse gets it right every time with cooking the beef as ordered!

I will never go back. The service was good, but, I ordered French onion soup with no bread in it came out cold and the cheese was not melted. I sent it back, it came out really hot, But, the big glob of cheese was on the bottom of the bowl. Clearly all they did was microwave it. So I sent it back not wanting another one. I ordered steak tips for dinner. They came out cold. The manager came over, offered to cook new ones. I refused I was too hungry and just ate them cold. When the check came I was told the soup got taken off of the bill. I should hope so I did not even eat it. No compensation was offered, not that I was looking for a free meal, but, I’ve worked in the food industry since I was 15 years old. Even an offer of a dessert would’ve been nice. I do not recommend Longhorn steakhouse.

Had one of the lunch specials and it was very reasonable. Their new mushroom truffle soup is good.

Another gift certificate to use. It was very good. We love the baked sweet potatoes with the cinnamon and butter. So, we always get one with whatever meal we are having. Abner got a burger and I got the cowboy pork chops. Delicious. Service was excellent.

Went to the one in Franklin a couple of weeks and had the best Primetime burger… Brought my friends to this one and ordered the same… with terrible results. The burger was well done(I asked for medium) was missing the side of au jus and a sloppy presentation. He one in Rankling even brands the bun with their logo… a nice touch and show that they pay attention to detail. I’ll give Longhorn another shot, just not at this location again…

I had never been to a Longhorn Steakhouse before, but had always heard great things. So I decided to give it a shot. I’m a fan. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the chain, it’s a casual Texas themed steakhouse. It has the chain feel, but isn’t overly decorated or themed like the Texas Roadhouse. It’s a clean, comfortable, and inviting restaurant. I would say it’s like a Texas version of the Outback Steakhouse. The menu is mostly steaks, with other favorites like burgers, salads, sandwiches, and some other entrée options. During our visit, the food was all very good, and the service was great. This is definitely a well managed restaurant. Everything ran smoothly. And just a tip: sign up for their email newsletter because you get a free appetizer. And as a rule of thumb, when you are visiting a chain restaurant, always go on their website beforehand because you can always find coupons or free appetizer offers.
