I am a vegetarian, so fast food burger places aren’t really on my watch list for places to eat. However, I have meat eating relatives who thought I should try the BK Veggie Burger. I decided to give it a go. Heck, when I used to eat meat a long time ago, I loved BK and their fries. I went in one day to place my order and was met with some snarky and rude employees who were poking fun at my order. Look, I don’t need Burger King to satisfy my vegetarian needs. I am sure as sure they don’t need me to pad their bottom line. I am sure we both can exist without the other and not miss a beat. For the rude and inconsiderate employees I will never go back to BK for their veggie burger. Kudos to them for offering it, I wish more fast food places offered vegetarian options as it’s a growing in popularity in this country, but I don’t need the snark with my food. The food reviewed alone doesn’t generate stellar ratings, either. Yes, it’s just a Morningstar veggie burger. Just the plain regular flavor. Which isn’t that bad. But there are far more flavorful varieties in the stores, so why can’t they offer something with better taste? I don’t even buy plain Morningstar burgers when I buy them, so why would I want to go out to eat to get one? That and it was just microwaved. I understand they do this to prevent it from being fried with real meat and that helps keep it vegetarian. Again, great. I doubt the demand for this would justify in having a separate grill for just these patties. But maybe a tabletop grill? A Foreman grill to cook them? Something other than a microwave, anyway, so they are actually grilled in some way, even if they aren’t flame broiled. It would help. Until BK changes the source of their burger and gets employees who don’t turn their nose up at customers of these products, I won’t be back. If I hear they get better service and better food, then I will be back. And often. The fries are still good.

Wow! So, on November 31, 2014 at around 10:10 pm, we pull into the Burger King drive through to order a quick meal and the person manning the ordering station mumbles something that is mostly incoherent but that ends with, «…a few minutes.» We sit patiently for about 4 minutes and nothing happens. I speak up, asking to order again, and the voice on the other end(much more clearly now) says, «We are in the middle of change over. It will be about 10 or 15 minutes.» WHAT? I have to assume that the shift workers are switching to the new shift. Still, I have to wonder why this should cause a delay in service? At any rate, waiting in a drive through station for 15 minutes at a «fast food» restaurant just to place my order seems sort of antithetical. I mean, really folks, how hard is it to keep the service line open during a change over? As we are driving away in frustration, my passenger stays, «Considering the kinds of people that end up working for places like this, I guess you can’t expect a whole lot more.» Amazing.

Breakfast at 4 am… then bed at 6. If you go around 4:10, you can get a little of both menus. Today was a whopper and a sausage croissant. Check the bag before you leave, because it is rarely correct. Check everything twice!

Even grading on a fast-food scale, this place has some of the worst service ever. When you go inside everyone is concerned with the drive through customers and they wont wait on you. They just stare at you. You would think the drive through would be fast with every one ignoring the inside customer, but its not.
