can I really review a place that never laid a hand on my car? Here it is. Called at noon on a Thursday about my air conditioner not working. I was told they were too busy to take me midday which is totally understandable. Setup an appointment for Friday at 8am. dropped wife off at work, took the day off from my job and called in a favor with a friend to drive me around. Dropped the car off at 8am and went about my day. I actually got a call back from another auto shop who had turned me away saying «we have an opening if you want to bring your car in!» No no Ricks is on it. I have a road trip and car show over the hottest weekend of the summer and need it fixed now.
2:00pm rolls around and I haven’t heard from Ricks about cost or what the problem is? I call them and they tell me they won’t have time to work on it. Now at 2pm on a Friday… I can’t take it anywhere else and am stuck driving a none AC car during the hottest weekend during the summer. They didn’t even offer an apology over the phone. The lady behind the desk gave me a quick sorry when I asked for the keys but no offer to discount the price or any offer for a follow up. Won’t be back.
