Very pleasant first time experience, alternator going out in my Mercedes, was petrified I was going to have to take it to the Mercedes dealers which would cost me a lot more money, the price was reasonable the same as an American car maybe $ 100 more, they had three financing companies I could go through to finance me and one excepted. The staff is very clean friendly and helpful, I will be taking my car there in the future for maintenance.

My 2007 truck went out of warranty in 2013, so I needed to find a place for normal service. I called four Raytown auto service companies and got bids for the following services: Replace Sparkplugs Service Front & Rear Differentials Service Transfer Case Replace Serpentine Belt Although Sci-Tech was slightly higher than most on the belt(~$ 20), the overall estimate was $ 100 less than the next merchant and nearly $ 400 less than the highest. All four businesses are within a mile of each other on 350HWY. Only one of the four was a national chain, and they were nearly tied for second place in price. Sci-Tech has a nice web site with an estimating tools(that didnt’ work the day I needed it) and the ability to request appointments. The day of service went very well. I dropped the truck off around 8AM. John, the owner, called me about 30 minutes later and advised that the front pinion seal was leaking. I told him to fix it. Even with this repair added to the bill, Sci-Tech’s total charges were less than the next lowest area shop! The only snag occurred when the parts supply company sent the wrong seal for the pinion. Not Sci-Tech’s fault. They quickly obtained the right part and installed it. Everyone at the shop was great. The owner was very clean, polite and professional. Catherine, who worked the desk was a total sweetheart and great at making conversation with waiting customers. The tech who worked on my car was very clean-cut and professional. He took the time to answer my post-service questions. All in all, I am very please with Sci-Tech and will continue using them for my future needs.
