Boscov’s Dept Stores

I walk into the store they tell me there closing in 5 mins. I know what I want I tell them he lets me go get it real quick. We are walking to the back to get it. An older lady approaches us and says can I help u I said we came to get an item. We where told by the greater where to find it so I didn’t need her help. She then goes and said we are closed with the chicken head movement and her attitude. I told her they let us in to get an item. Then I told her there’s no need for all the attitude. She just walked away. I I can put it to you straight up she’s a B**CH. she seen another lady go in and pass by her and said no words to her because she was white. She must have issues with Hispanic shopping at the store. First and last time I will ever return to any boscov’s store. If I’m spending my money some where I expect to be treated with respect and good customer service. Worst customer service ever she had. I actually think she was the manager too. Smh. Gave them a 3 star because the item was good and everyone else was nice.

You cannot live in Berks County without having visited Boscov’s for whatever reason. I spent much of my childhood shopping with my mom and dad at this location; whether it be for back to school clothing and supplies, holiday gifts, or the ever-​so frilly and pouffy Easter dress. I still remember the giant tent sale that was held every summer and the huge boxes filled with Cracker Jacks for the Cracker Jack days discount.
Sadly, I have since moved out of the area and there is not a Boscov’s near me anymore. I still visit this location though any chance that I get. It doesn’t appear that the store has changed all that much throughout the years. Most of the items are fairly well priced and it seems like every weekend there is some kind of a sale or promotion going on. And don’t forget… Have you Boscov’d today?
