(38⁄100) Who doesn’t love Target? Wait. Don’t answer that. If you tell me you don’t like Target, I don’t trust you as a person. This location is smaller compared to the one in Wyomissing. They do a pretty good job of keeping the store clean except for the carts. For some reason, the carts are always in a clusterf@%! in the front of the store. It’s definitely not appealing to the eye. Unlike the Target in Wyo, this location has a Starbucks in it. Yass! Everyone is talking about the new cherry blossom frappé; so of course I want to see what all the hype is about. Well according to the barista, she wasn’t able to make the drink because they didn’t have the right matcha powder. Wahh :( From a marketing standpoint, I understand why they took away music in their stores. You’ll spend more money because the store is silent and you’re able to concentrate. However, unless the sales associates are talking it’s eerily quiet. I’m not a fan; turn the music on!

While sometimes a little over priced they will price match and do everything they can to fix their mistakes unlike a certain other similar retailer. The staff is always friendly and will bend over backwards to help with anything they can. The store is always clean and generally smells nice. I do wish the had more selection of plus size clothes, but that is the case with most stores.

You know, I knew I’d feel conflicted writing this review, but I feel that after some consideration it’s worth noting a few things here for potential customers. The first thing you should know about this Target is that it exists. Most folk in our area instinctively head on over to the Target in Wyomissing. The firm who designed that shopping center also designs all of Bowsers castles, and may have also had a hand in Harry Houdini’s professional act. This Target, much like Houdini, has pulled a vanishing act over the rest of the world. Only with a keen eye or word of mouth do people realize that this place even exists. The next thing you should know about all Targets is that firearms are not allowed. They came out earlier this year to announce a ban on firearms(concealed or otherwise) even if they’re legally carried and permitted for such use. As a taxpaying American, self-admitted independent(GOP guys are just as crazy as the Democrats!), and avid gun-enthusiast I am appalled by such a direct and counter-productive corporate decision. I haven’t spent time and money for proper training and instruction just so i can leave my firearm in the car. Thankfully in recent months, Target has announced that they will not enforce it but they’ve clearly drawn their line in the sand and singled out anyone who’s followed the rules and paved the way to increased theft/confrontation by folk who know they will meet less resistance here. One last flaw in particular with this location that I feel is appropriate to mention; staffing concerns. There is never enough cashiers. Never, ever, ever, ever. There’s usually 1 – 2 cashiers at any given moment, and if you choose to checkout the same time as the rest of the shoppers you will wait in a line. It’s not a huge concern, but worth noting. With that said, Target in Temple offers some of the cleanest, easiest shopping experience around. It’s a larger chain, so you expect them to skimp or have glaring flaws. I’m fairly certain that I saw a child take a dump in the middle of the home furnishing isle at Walmart the other day and you just don’t get that experience at this Target. What you do get is an overall friendly staff, a built in Starbucks, decent savings and a good selection of merchandise. The produce isle is a plus, and being located next to Giant gives the savvy shopper options on where to buy the best priced product.

I just got a great deal on a new cell phone! Alex is the name of the gentleman that helped me. He is knowledgable and honest about the phones and helped me figure out the best choice for me. I also appreciated him helping me transfer all of my information from one phone to the next. He made the whole thing a pleasant and easy experience.

My favorite Target! Great Shopping Experience! I’ll begin with two general caveats applicable to all Target stores. First, Targets don’t carry as many products as Wal*Marts so you’re not going to find as much variety or even some of the items you want in the store. This particular Target has a bare bones selection of automotive goods and home repair items(e.g., tools, screws, etc.). Second, Targets tends to be a bit pricier than Wal*Mart, but, in my opinion, you make up the price difference with your shopping experience. With regards to the Temple Target, I’ll begin with location. The Target is located on 5th Street Hwy, which is essentially Route 222. Thus, the Target is easy to find although you do have to drive through several traffic lights from each direction to reach the store. Access to the shopping plaza is quite good. There are two entrances that are both easily accessible from both lanes of traffic. Getting in and out of the shopping plaza is a breeze. Along with Target, the plaza houses a PetSmart, Five Guys Burgers, Radio Shack, Giant Supermarket, and AC Moore to name a few. The store houses a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut Express(along with seating) in the front. This is probably our favorite feature in this Target. We like to grab a couple of beverages as we do our shopping. The store is brightly lit and the floor plan is fairly spacious. Even when the store is busy, it never feels crowded. The store offers a relaxing shopping experience. Unfortunately, the one downside of the relaxing shopping experience is that I don’t this Target turnsover products as fast as bigger and busier stores. This means that you won’t see as many new products on the shelves particularly with some of the fashion clothing lines.
