My husband and I have been frequenting this spot for the past year. We really enjoy their cupcakes & so does our little one. Great price point, convenient location, always receive stellar customer service. Always a wide variety of cupcakes — I recommend the pancakes & bacon (I believe that’s what it’s called?). I enjoy supporting business who are appreciative of their customers — This place definitely is. For my birthday they put a candle in my cupcake and for Mother’s Day we received a cupcake on the house. It isn’t about getting something for free, but it does go to show the loyalty to their customers, which is commendable.
We love Cupcake Magician & highly recommend this place!

Best cupcakes I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot! The red velvet and chocolate raspberry truffle are my favorite. They are reasonably priced and even though I no longer live in the area I try to always make a trip there when I’m close by.

I had chosen to do cupcakes instead of a wedding cake for my wedding day and had planned a day of cupcake tryouts, with Cupcake Magician first on the list. I had made a reservation to try out this cupcake bakery well in advance and paid for the samples with my then fiancé (now husband). We picked a few out that we would like to try and sat in the window trying them. It went well, but as I walked to the next location, I started feeling extremely ill. I was told by a few people in my party that color pretty much left my face. I was able to get to a bathroom and up-chucked the cupcakes before leaving for home. It was horrible and ruined the rest of my day. Suffice to say, we did not use their services for the wedding and will not be doing so in the future.

The worst thing about this place is trying to decide which cupcakes to get and buying the amount you went there for. I always wind up leaving with several more than I wanted! Hands down best cupcakes in the area. I’ve tried many of their flavors but always keep going back to the cappuccino one, my favorite! They make both mini cupcakes and regular size ones. I’d like to see them go against House of Cupcakes on cupcake wars, they’d win for sure!

I rather have a cupcake than an ice cream, especially from their gluten free case. What a treat! Someone who makes yummy gluten free cupcakes. But not only gluten free bc my family loves all the other cupcakes. Especially the cannoli and the ones with yummy centers. This place does special orders that are beautiful. Don’t forget to check in with your point card to earn special rewards.

Love that they also deliver but you need to have four or more cupcakes and its locals only. Still pretty awesome. They do amazing gluten free cupcakes that can be customized !

Cupcake Magician is amazing at what the do, cupcakes! They taste great and I have never been disappointed. Cheaper and better quality then Whipped or Carlos Bakery.
I first stumbled on their small shop one night out listening to music in Red Bank. I thought I had found some secret amazing shop. Well secret’s out! I’ve visited them many times since.
I had them do 200 cupcakes & a cake topper for my wedding in 2012. The tasting was a breeze, loved the options. We got 50 of 4 different flavors. Red Velvet & Strawberry Shortcake are musts. They delivered the cupcakes to our venue and Marlboro and as the groom didn’t notice any issues. People raved about the cupcakes that day & STILL ask me to this day what that place was called again.
Cupcake Magician, stop in now. Thank me later.

OUT of this world! Great flavor choices and the cupcakes and moist and perfect. It is very hard having multiple cupcake shops in red bank. They are all very good. However, I am positive that you will not be disappointed here. Beyond average cupcakes. Decadent icing, and they are very generous with the portion. Not much else to say other than go there and try for yourself.

OMG yes yes yes… I will drive the 35 mins to this gem for their amazing treats! Diet? what diet. Tiramisu is my favorite, but i can never leave there with just 1 cupcake. Make sure u sign up for their rewards program for FREE cupcakes. :)

I got four of their cupcakes.
Cannoli, cookies & cream, carrot cake & bacon maple.
Honestly, not that great, in fact the bacon maple was gross.
The frostings weren’t very good and the actual cupcake was semi-dry.
If you are in Red Bank and have a sweet tooth I would recommend getting cupcake at sugar rush or walking down the street to Whipped.

Let me just preface this review by saying that the cupcakes ARE delicious and reasonably priced. I am writing this review because of my disappointment in their customer service. Afternoon hours on a Saturday and ONE employee is both taking orders for the following week and ringing up customers in line. I felt that the wait was excessive, especially when at least THREE employees were in the back room. Having worked in retail for a number of years, this poor customer service disappointed me. Still a fan of the quality of the dessert, but be sure to get there on off peak hours because apparently only one employee is allowed in the storefront at a given time.

I am not the type of person who is into cupcake shops, to be honest. I just feel it’s almost always gimmicky and overpriced, etc. I went in here after passing by it a few times and I wanted to get a quick present for relatives. It was really quiet and a little later in the evening, but they had so many options. I know they make up cupcakes on the fly, if you want, but I was content just picking from the case.
Flavors like Cannoli and S’mores, they all looked really appetizing and I picked out a dozen. Later, I snuck the Cannoli cupcake for myself and I was beyond shocked. I guess I had low expectations to begin with, but the cake was SO moist and the frosting was so good. Not overwhelming, or overly-sweet, or anything like that. Just absolutely delicious. I still dream about that damn cupcake.
Great place, really inexpensive for the quality too!

The cupcakes here are delicious. Each cupcake is $ 2 each, while some of the more popular flavors are $ 2.50 each. This place is pricey for a cupcake, not pricey compared to a meal. I loved the Jersey Velvet cupcake, the Red Velvet cupcake, and the Chocolate Chip cupcake.
Their most popular flavors is the French toast. I didn’t try it, but I tried the icing on my sister’s, and it was delicious
I normally dislike cupcakes because they are too sweet, but the icing on these cupcakes were perfect. They weren’t too sweet and were moist enough to melt in my mouth.
