Meatball parm: The roll was cold, the cheese didn’t even melt over the room temperature meatballs. Since it was obviously not even food safe, I didn’t touch it and the manager took it back and still argued with me over whether or not the food was hot. Your cold room-temperature meatballs are nasty!!! Sorry bro. Yes, I understand they are in a steam table but you need to get it checked out. The whole place smelled like bleach and was cluttered and dirty. The kitchen is a microwave and a 4′ counter space behind a window in the back of the store. That was my first red flag. Should’ve trusted my gut. Whoever said this place was a treat is mistaken.

So good, so fresh!!! The guys there are super nice, friendly, and helpful. They slice the meat right in front of you. Very clean facility. The place is tiny, but it is 100% worth squeezing in there. A half sub is more than enough for a meal(or two). Absolutely highly recommended!

Everything one would want in a great sub! Bread was fresh, meat was piled high(freshly sliced), and seasonings/oil and vinegar were just the right amount. The price was also very fair. I will definitely be getting my subs from here on a regular basis.

Had the Meatball Parm. Amazing bread, perfect meatballs, great sauce. The half was more than most full subs I’ve had at other sub shops. If you want great meaty subs for a decent price(about $ 8), this is the place. Now if we could just get them to come to Arizona…;)

This is what subs SHOULD taste like! Real food… Real ingredients… Real taste. Plain and simple. More than enough to fill you up. Loved the roast beef and fresh mozzarella. I’m from NY and now live in AZ. When I come back home I like to have NY bagels, pizza, and now Red Bank Subs!!!

Great sub shop! I’ve had a hot and cold sub here and both were excellent. In fact, I had to work to finish my 6″ sub in one sitting because they put so much meat on it. The prices are great and you really feel like you’re getting a great deal because the subs are packed to the gills. They slice the meat right in front of you and everything is Boar’s Head. The roast beef in particular is excellent. Highly recommended!

I have gotten subs and breakfast sandwiches here. It’s all delicious! The subs are so fresh and filled with meat and toppings. They cut everything right in front of you. None of that pre cut stuff. The subs are pretty big and reasonably priced. The breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorites. It’s always hot and the bread is soft and fresh. They have a little outdoor area I’m the back of the place. It’s really cool. If it’s nice out you should def go out there and sit. The staff is always nice and friendly. And 9 out of 10 times the owner will be there making subs too.

Every time a sub shop opens, they load customers up with huge sandwiches that keep them coming back. Red Bank Sub Shop may be doing just that. I’ll come back to see if the sandwiches thin out a bit, but until then, this may be the new best spot in Red Bank for a sub. I had an amazing sandwich from them today. It was the first time I’ve ever felt stuffed after eating half a sub. Great quality food and decent prices. There are so many Elsie’s loyalists in town, and I’m not sure whether it’s based on pure nostalgia or what(they’ve been around for decades), but their subs are a 4⁄5 at best. Elsie’s gives you a sad-looking sandwich wrapped in a plastic bag. RB Sub Shop wraps it in paper, and it’s got that heavy feel to it. I’ve been on a hunt for a great sub in Red Bank, and I think this may be the one. Hopefully they can keep up the quality going forward.
