The best health club in the area. It’s great they have day care for kids and a whole spa and hair salon upstages for the public and private members open to both.

Absolutely love The Atlantic Club. The new indoor pool is gorgeous! I feel like I’ve gotten away to luxurious spa when I get in the pool. Doesn’t even feel like exercise.

Just joined a little over a month ago, relocated from Manhattan with my husband. This was just the kind of fitness club I was looking for! Great amenities and clean! And the classes! So glad I found this place! I hope to check out the club in Wall soon too!

The selling point for this gym for me is the class schedule — it’s very extensive in the mornings and evenings. The class schedule is available online and updated monthly. Also, the clientele are very friendly here — much friendlier than any other«public» type place I’ve found in the area, so it’s a comfortable place. This facility is nice but a little small, with smallish areas for cardio, resistance machines, free weights and stretching area, with the machines pretty packed together. There is no basketball court or track that would come with a court, and no lounge or seating area, other than as part of the café. The saline pool is also on the smaller side. Staff checks the water every 2 hours(I asked). For people with mobility issues, the pool offers a lift in and out. A hot tub abuts the pool, and both steam and sauna rooms are available in the locker rooms. This facility is very well-staffed, and has a mini«shop» near the front, a café with some seating, and valet parking — a plus, because parking here can be rough during peak times. Childcare available, but I haven’t tried it. Kind of a high membership price, but it includes all classes, and you can refer a friend and get both your friend and you a 10% or so discount for 12 months. Free 5-day trial available. I get the sense that the other Atlantic Club, in Manasquan, is much larger, and has things like lounges and a basketball court. It’s a bummer this one doesn’t, especially as I think the two cost the same. The attached spa is heavily promoted with daily appointments available listed in the locker room.

They reduced their monthly price for me these next two years by a couple of dollars so I am pretty happy. They will routinely send out surveys and if you have any concerns, they are good at responding and seem genuinely concerned with providing great customer service. It still is the«best gym» locally only because it’s about few minutes away from town and their pool incorporates the saline system. You don’t have to worry(as much) about pee in the pool like you might at the nearby Y. With the New Year’s just passing, the pools and main workout room have become un-gym-ably(yep, coined mah own word) crowded, so it’s been really, really annoying considering the hefty monthly membership I’m paying. Even though there are blowdryers, soaps/shampoo, and towels provided, I rarely shower here because the water and provided soaps dry out my skin, and the starched towels feels more like a loofah than a shower. If there was a 24-hour fitness, Equinox or other gym offering a pool for less amount of a price, I would switch in a moment. Personally though, I love this gym because its a convenient 4 mins away so I do work out quite often. The front desk staff are helpful and the yoga teacher(especially Stacey) is awesome! The pool lifeguards are also extremely friendly.

Best we have around. But not as nice as competitors in the luxury gym space. Lifetime Fitness, Equinox, Reebok, etc are all much better in offerings, more visible maintenance, and higher end amenities. I post here to hope Atlantic Club steps up their game. Even the locker room products are not seriously usable when the competition has great offerings like Kiehls. Why cant they order better stuff especially considering they have a spa and salon with products? Also on the weekend there are few group fitness offerings in the afternoon when people are off from work and could actually use the club.
