For the manager there: You had better go pull the Café Fanny granola from the shelves. I bought two boxes on Saturday before heading to my family cabin in Mineral, only to find they were both rancid tasting. We checked the dates and the sell by was 9⁄15 on one and 5⁄15 on the other(the date I bought these was Saturday, May 28, 2016 — both well past the sell by date, one fully a year past the sell by date). I paid about $ 16 for the two boxes and had to discard them immediately(and go pay for breakfast in the restaurant in Mineral, as a result). Not happy, and will likely be shopping elsewhere when in the area in the future after over ten years of giving you our business on the way to the family cabin. As a side note, I bought a box of Café Fanny granola from Nugget Market in Davis today and it was, as usual, delicious, but I was now $ 22+ into my quest before I got to taste what I was craving. It’s good stuff, but you’re not going to sell it if people think rancid is the normal taste and don’t realize it’s just because you haven’t moved the boxes in a timely manner or removed them when they didn’t sell.

I am a travelling musician and rolled through this Raleys on our way through Red Bluff. Huge selection, short lines and specifically incredible pre-made sushi. Grocery sushi is consistently terrible but this selection looked colorful and fresh so I decided to risk it and give it a go. Seriously next level stuff, better than a lot of actual sitdown places I have been to.

I have been a loyal Raley’s and Bel Air customer from Sacramento and now Red Bluff. Yes, they are more expensive but it’s the total package when you are shopping. The Deli is the bomb but I agree sometimes the waits are too long. Hope they can improve on that soon I find things that the other stores in the area don’t carry. And everyone is super nice here! I will continue shopping here every week even when our super Walmart opens.

This review is for the sushi at this Raley’s location. I had the spicy tuna and it was absolutely delicious for premade sushi. The guy that works in the sushi department is also very knowledgeable about the ingredients of the sushi and its sauces. This is also probably the only place you can get sushi in Red Bluff… just sayin’ :)

Overpriced, and their produce is sub standard. They do have some great deli stuff and bakery stuff. Only reason I’m giving them 3 stars. Their prices are an insult in the rest of the store.

This store is generally more expensive than most, however if you can afford to shop here you wont be let down. The employees are friendly and very helpful. It always clean inside and out as well. the quality of their meats ans produce are second only to the farmers market. Just today I bought four box’s of cake mix for $ 5.

My first time to stop by @ this supermarket to pick some lunch. Seeing the line @ their Dell area, I thought they must be good. I chose panini. No turkey meat, no tri tip roast beef… Here I am feeling frustrated of no selection with my 30 minutes break almost over and hungry with no other selection and settled for chicken coming from their counter, all battered and oily of course. Oh well, I need to go back to work fast, I need to get my lunch. The guy who served me, maybe a new hire kept asking the other woman where the meats were and looking lost! He did not even know what is a sourdough bread, my goodness! He didn’t even know what kind of cheese they have. He wrapped the sandwich in a brown paper and handed it to me. I told him, it seemed not hot. He just smiled and I don’t know if he understood me at all. Well, I thought I could be wrong. Maybe it is hot when I open it. WRONG!!! It was a COLD sandwich and I was charged over $ 6 for PANINI! On their menu, they indicated PANINI as hot sandwiches. Never would I go back to a place where I feel cheated. If there is negative zero, I placed them negative 5 zero. This is not a huge amount, it is the principle behind it. And that sandwich was gross! I should have not continue to order when I observed how lost the server was!

It’s a little pricey here but you get what you pay for. Much higher quality than other super markets in the area. It’s always bright and clean, they have friendly and helpful staff and a great selection and variety of brands and foods including a solid British /Foreign section. Awesome deli, fresh sushi made daily and Pete’s Coffee on tap. They also have a large selection of beer, wine and liquor(including my favorite whiskey Tullamore Dew). I love Raley’s!

Went to this Raley’s location with my vegetarian daughter who was visiting for the week. The produce was very disappointing but the customer service was even more so. There was a long wait at check out and once we got to the register the clerk looked right passed us to the couple behind me she obviously knew and started talking to them. Did not acknowledge us at all. Not even when she finished ringing the order. I slid my card, my daughter bagged the groceries and the cashier didn’t even look our direction to hand me the register tape — just tossed it to the end of the belt. The missing bagger reappeared in time to start bagging the order behind us and practically pushed my daughter out of the way. My daughter and I just looked at each other and she said«What are we, invisible?» My sentiments exactly! I regret not demanding to speak to the manager right then and there! Ended up returning the terrible fruit. Was told by the produce guy that everything was being pushed out into the stores too early so they are having problems with bad produce.

Best supermarket in Red Bluff, excellent deli/bakery, meat department & produce. They also have a lot of hard to find brands & food products. The staff is very helpful & the store is kept to a much higher standard than any other grocery stores in Red Bluff.

Sure, everything might be a little bit more pricey than other stores, but this grocery store has it all and it’s all good. I normally just come here for the fresh produce and meat selection, but every now and then I’ll get a deli sandwich or some fried chicken. They also have a section for sushi and Peete’s Coffee in the deli area. Raley’s carries a lot of brands that bigger chains might not and that’s what I like about them. The employees are always friendly, helpful and some of them even know me by name. I’ve never had a problem in here whatsoever which is just one reason why I’ll keep coming back.

I stopped by on the way up to backpack up in the mountains. I picked up a few bars of Lindt Extra Creamy Milk chocolate. After a grueling backpack into the Ishi Wilderness, my group was looking forward to s’mores. We opened up the bar of chocolate and it was all white. We checked the expiration date and it was 10/31/2012. That is almost 6MONTHS Expired! WTH? I called the Raleys store just to let the manager know. It is not feasible to drive 4 hour rt for a replacement. The manager had no apology. TSK tsk. She could of at least showed some empathy and say she was sorry for the expired food the store had stocked on the shelf! Needless to say, we burned the chocolate in the fire!

Great place for a bigger selection of food, cleanliness, and to avoid the maddening crowds at Food Maxx. A little overpriced, but I usually stop here, if I only need one or two items, and want to get out quick, as they have a self check out station.

Good supermarket with great deli and fresh produce. Raley’s also has a great selection of breads and meats as well as odds and ends for the home. A nice contrast to the lumbering uselessness of Wal-Mart next door.
