This review is based solely on the board of directors and does not pertain to the staff of the fairground. Unfortunately the board gave the former manager the option to retire or be terminated early this year. It’s such a shame to see someone that put their heart and soul into their job be forced out. And for what reason? I would highly recommend that anyone looking for facility rentals look elsewhere beside the Tehama District Fairground.

Red Bluff, CA
Great place to catch lots of cowboy events from the Roundup, Bull and Gelding Sale to the District Fair, Monster Trucks and bmx and demolition derby races. Lots of space for big events but the actual facilities are a bit rough and dated. Easy access from Hwy 5 and Antelope Boulevard, with good restaurants, coffee, inexpensive hotels nearby.
The venues can be pretty exposed to the sun so make sure to hydrate and bring sunscreen and a big cowboy hat.
